What’s the Matter with Tucker Carlson?

As President Trump gave his inaugural address in Washington, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who now has his own podcast after having been fired by Fox News, chose to remain seated while all around him stood up when the President — while mentioning that the Israeli hostages are “coming back home to their families”— pointed to family members of hostages, and hostages who had previously been released, standing near the podium. No one should have been surprised at seeing Carlson remain seated, for he has a long history of anti-Israel animus. He has criticized Christian leaders in the United States, arguing that they are “not being more critical of the destruction in Gaza.”

Here is one of Carlson’s tweets on Israel:

The IDF has not been “blowing up churches” in Gaza nor has it been “killing Christians.” It’s a made-up charge.

Carlson has invited as guests on his podcast a series of flagrant antisemites. He had a “Holocaust distortionist” on his show, one Darryl Cooper, a “podcast historian” whom Carlson has described as “the best and most honest popular historian in the United States.” He allotted a full two hours for Darryl Cooper to spread his venom. Carlson declined to take issue with any of the false claims made by Cooper during their conversation, and even now he continue to refuse to criticize Cooper’s views or apologize for having given him such a platform. Cooper claimed that “millions of prisoners of war” had “ended up dead” in concentration camps, implying that Jews should not be regarded as the victims of genocide, but rather as POWs (Jews being “at war” with the Nazis), and millions of them were not deliberately murdered by the Nazis, but had died of disease or malnutrition because the Nazis were “unprepared” for the war, and thus had not been able to properly house, to clothe, or to feed such prisoners taken in the war. According to Cooper, World War II was caused by Winston Churchill, whom he called the “chief villain” of that war. Most of those in Nazi custody died, Cooper maintains, from typhus and other diseases.

Jeffrey Sachs was once taken seriously as an economist, but in recent years has become an obsessive exponent of conspiracy theories, including his belief that Israel runs American foreign policy. Sachs claims that the fall of Syria’s dictator Assad — whom Sachs apparently thought well of — was not the result of Assad’s countrymen rising up to topple him, but was, rather, the culmination of a decades-long plot led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to oppose any Middle Eastern government supporting the creation of a Palestinian state. “The United States goes to war on his behalf,” he said of Netanyahu, arguing that “Israel has driven so many American wars.” Sachs also claimed that the U.S. “gave over Middle East foreign policy to Israel a long time ago, not to U.S. interest, but to Israel’s interest. That is the Israel lobby, and we don’t hear questioning of this at all.” Carlson seemed to agree.

        • The reason Tucker was kicked off Fox and other issues was because of J6. I am disappointed in him if that is true and will check it out for myself.

          He had claimed (repeatedly) that the voting machines were rigged although he didn’t believe it and had no evidence. This claim caused a huge (hundreds of millions) law suit against FOX which FOX lost. Possibly contributed to his firing.
          Also that sounds like election denying to me.

          And a big part of freedom of speech is being able to criticize the speech of others. Anyone should be allowed to expose Carlson’s antisemitism–including against that of the hostages kidnapped by Hamas.

  3. There never were :”Palestinians”. The people were wandering nomads called Bedouins. The history is so twisted on this. Mark Twain wrote about the land way before it became a hot political topic.

    • It’s true that there wandering nomads in the Negev Desert (as there are now in the Sinai but there were plenty of villages in other areas of what became Israel. The term “Palestinian” was used to describe residents of the area whether Araba, Jews or whatever.

Arabs, who were mainly from Syria, Jordan, and, Egypt, were called, arabs, not Palestinians! I`ll guess, that you also refer to Judea and Samaria, as the West Bank. Because you wouldn`t know, that the late king Hussein`s grandfather, king Abdullah, began so labeling the ancient heartland of Israel, in 1948, to try to remove the 3500 year old Jewish connection to these areas, after Jordan began occupying them.

      • The name Palestine was coined by Emperor Titus after the destruction of the 2nd Jewish Temple in 70 AD. It comes from the word “Palestina” which is a purposeful twist on the word Philistine(s) the enemies of the Jews. In those times, names were changed to help destroy the “race” or culture of conquered peoples. There is no such thing as a “Palestinian”. There has never been indigenous “Palestinians” because it is not a race nor a culture. It was just Arabs. The British loosely used the term palestinian as the Brisitsh were largely antisemites, and actually helped the Arabs harass the Jews. Hamas, etc. and any of the Arabs don’t want a “Palestinian” state, because that would mean they have to recognize the state of Israel, which they refuse to do. They just want to eradicate the Jewish culture and race.

  4. Tucker Carlson is a deep state evil man and always has been so. He covered when on fox so many true points that endeared him to conservatives. I also liked most of what I heard too. Over time long before he was removed from fox, I noticed while what he covered well, there was so much he would never mention nor cover. It took time to put together all the topics he would never touch to realize what the evil creature was. Unused puzzle pieces show you parts of a picture when you have enough to look at. He was also born with a silver spoon in his mouth but that’s a whole other thing.
    Evil can sure look good for awhile. That fruit sure looked good to eat to eve.
    I can’t prove it but another man is well respected as caring for people. His childhood and adulthood he has shared but 20 years between childhood and adulthood is missing. How he went from poor to rich is a mystery. He owns a lab and does good work. He sells a massive amount of health products of good quality but also at most inflated prices too.
    Then he did a massive change. I noticed who would no longer be interviewed by him and who would. There of course is a middle ground of people still there but if really good, they eventually go away whether he pushes them out or they stay away by their choice. And suddenly some of the greatest liars on his shows. Almost anyone with Jewish ancestry even if christians are no more with Mike. Yes, Mike Adams the nazi ccp agent.

  7. Tucker has a right to stand or not for any portion of any speech. That said, while I agree w/ him on a whole host of issues – China, Russia, South Africa, homelessness in our cities, our military being deployed worldwide except in the US, Tech censorship, Covid extremism, et al, I part company w/ him when it comes to the Jews, particularly Israel. Yeah, one may have a dim view of a lot of American Jews – Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Dan Goldman, and several others. However, there is no justification for taking out one’s anger at them on Israel

    I do wish he was as open to giving Israel the same sort of grace he’s enthusiastically been giving Russia, from visiting their malls, admiring their architecture and so on. Those 2 countries, although adversarial, have more in common w/ each other than he seems to think

      Even as an economist, Jeffrey Sachs was a disaster. In 1992, he was an advisor of Russian prime minister Yegor Gaidar which was the shock therapy applied to the Russian economy that saw hyperinflation and an exit of Gaidar in 6 months. Anybody w/ half a brain could have said that a transition period would be necessary from a planned economy to a market economy, but that’s not what Sachs advised, and Yeltsin paid the price. Had Yeltsin followed a different course, say like Vietnam, and liberalized the economy while slowly ramping down state subsidies, the Russians would have adjusted a lot better and become as prosperous as Hungary or Poland. But the main villain in that piece was Sachs, and others like him who gave that destructive advice to Russian leaders

      • Actually, Poland transitioned quite quickly to a free market economy. They called it “shock therapy”, but it was quite successful. Today Poland’s per capita GDP is twice that of Russia’s.

        • Communist Poland never went full communist like the Soviet overlords. Poland never stopped small private farm ownership and always allowed small private owned stores and businesses.so could bounce easier into a free market economy.
          Additionally, even with some bad eggs still in their populations, east Europe ended the divine curse still upon western Europe
          Be it a person or a nation of persons, the bible says evil done has the next 3-4 generations cursed by God. That’s not unjust of God as God states the cure for the curse. Love God ends the curse. Collectively, west Europe does not love God. Britain is as guilty for the Holocaust as Germany in another angle to it happening.

        • Both Poland & Hungary got their debts written off by President Bush 41. Something that Russia never got. Also, like Poland, under Perestroika, the Soviets too were dabbling a bit in some aspects of free enterprise, like allowing small farms & businesses. All Eastern European countries were in the same boat

          While the magnitude of the problem may have been much greater in Russia, they could have managed their transition to a market economy better – like Vietnam did. Vietnam did what Deng’s China did, but w/o any genocide of anybody, and is today an economic powerhouse like China, but w/o any of the hubris of the latter. Indeed, after it started reforming, they withdrew from Cambodia and loosened their grip on Laos. Both those countries today are vassals of Beijing

      You may have a “dim view of a lot of American Jews” but does it have anything to do with them being Jewish or do you have a dim view of them for other reasons. I suspect that you have a dim view of a lot of others but their religion or ethnicity has nothing to do with it. There are a few Swedes I “have a dim view of” but I don’t consider that their Swedishness is relevant at all. Somehow it seems that when a Jew is being a jerk it is relevant that he is Jewish and not simply a jerk.

        A lot of them seem to be Jewish by just ethnicity, although as you once pointed out, that has been diluted over the millennia by several generations of inter-marriages. A lot of them don’t seem Jewish by faith at all, such as Bernie Sanders, or Richard Stallman (who once called for “impeaching God”). But I have noticed that among a big percentage of American Jews, there seems to be a trend of being toxically anti-Western, as well as pro-islamic as well as pro-communist

          ⮞ The people I listed above. and some who I forgot, like Larry Fink, who wants to buy up huge areas of suburbs to make it public housing, Sergei Brin, one of Google’s founders, and these companies are the leading drivers of Wokeness
          ⮞ A majority of American Jews, to this day, despite the treatment Israel has been getting from every Democrat President since Carter, despite the assaults on Jewish students in the US from muslims, still voted (D) in the last elections. Granted they were fewer, but that’s a trend they shared w/ all groups and denominations. If any population overwhelmingly votes (D), particularly today’s (D), it’s legitimate to say that they hate the US, and the West in general

          In this election cycle, yes! Given what the Dems showed themselves to be on so many fronts – antisemitic, supportive of grooming minors, men participating in women’s sports, open borders, pro-criminal DAs and so on, any community that voted for them was downright sociopathic and hates at least the US, if not the entire West. If they didn’t like Trump, the best they could have done would have been to sit out the election, which many did, rather than vote for a party actively trying to destroy it

          On the January 6th pardons, I completely endorse it. Only one person was killed on January 6th – Ashley Babbitt, and her killer is still on the loose. All of the January 6th defendants have completed 4 years in jail, and 4 of them committed suicide while incarcerated

          The people who were non violent were exercising their First Amendment rights – a novelty in your country, where truckers who didn’t want to take an experimental vaccine were cancelled, losing their bank accounts. The people who were violent have spent 4 years in jail. That’s a lot more than people who in the 2020 George Floyd riots committed arson, looting, murders of policemen and so on, and they didn’t spend a day in jail

          Given all that, President Trump did absolutely the right thing by issuing blanket pardons and commutations. The people who were violent got commutations rather than pardons: their sentences were reduced to time already served. Pardons meant that their entire criminal history was striken from the records. I have more respect for this than for Biden, who pardoned Dr Fauci and Gen Millie despite the fact that neither have been charged w/ anything to date. Oh, and the pardon of the J6 committee, members of whom committed perjury during the testimony or violated the law in other ways (like Liz Cheney talking to Cassidy Hutchinson w/o her lawyer’s knowledge)

          If you want a corrupt or completely unjustified pardon, there are Biden’s, where it’s not even known whether it would constitutionally hold, given that the people pardoned have not been charged w/ anything. And I’m not even getting into his nepotism in pardoning members of his own family

          I’m not in favour of the D agenda including most of the policies you refer too. Nevertheless, just because a person supports some (or all) of these policies doesn’t make them anti-American, anti-Wesr, or pro-Communist.

          How anyone could support men competing with women in sports or playing around with the sexual direction of children or insisting on an infinite number of genders is beyond me.
          Quite a few Republicans (Vance for one) were against freeing the people involved in the Jan 6th “incident” who were convicted of violent acts.. Listening to the interviews with a few of them turned my stomach — they don’t see that they did anything wrong. Unbelievable.
          Biden pardoning his son was one thing. On the surface it appears wrong but I don’t know enough about it to have an informed opinion. Granting preemptive pardons to various people to protect them from Trump’s revenge was probably appropriate. We are beginning to see the shape of that revenge.

        • The constitutionality of pre-emptive pardons is yet to be tested. I do hope somebody challenges it, particularly wrt Dr Fauci and Gen Millie. The first caused the death of a million people worldwide w/ his Gain of Function experiments, and the latter was downright treasonous by promising his Chinese counterpart to inform him if Trump started a war

          You may not support all those Dem policies. But they were so bad that anyone who supported the Dems were complicit. Imagine if you were a German citizen in the 1930s, who voted for Hitler and later said that you were not for the Endlosung and all those other racist policies. You think anybody would find that credible?

  8. I am actually quite concerned about that, I did see him briefly in the audience but he was smiling and standing. I will check this out for myself. Those remarks are out of character and I will look at his Utube. I can only say like Greta van Susteran and Huckabee says: once one sees that 47 minute film of Hamas killing innocent Jews and women, babies one cannot “unsee” it. I can’t watch it because I am too sensitive and will get nightmares. The descriptions of the hostage treatment make me sick. So, maybe Tucker should take a look at that Hamas Go pro film. I HAVE ALWAYS STOOD W/ ISRAEL since 1975 when I became a born again Christian and understood WHY what happens in Israel impacts the state of the WORLD. PRAISE YESHUA.

    • Yes, I’ve been picking up on Tucker’s evolution, if I can call it that. Maybe he is devolving. Because he is definitely going in with the lot that support the idea of a “Jewish Kabal” running the show behind the scenes. He has turned towards these extremist views, same as Candace Owens and others. It’s really quite the trend. And because they’ve got a large following now on the “conservative” side, they are spreading it around, letting this slime pick up speed as it descends down the slope. Whoever gets caught in it is on a trip to hell. Unless they jump off!

  10. Like all the comments here, I also followed Tucker and his outspokenness and push back over the last 5 years. But suddenly he is on another beat, like Candace Owens. So many of the ‘truth’ warriors are terribly anti-Jew. This actually shocked me. and was a wakeup call – Tucker, Owens, Corbett, David Icke just to name a few. So much of what they put out is blatantly erroneous and they cannot ‘see’ it at all. Very sad!
