That’s understandable, given the second-class status of Christians in Islamic countries, but how is he going to prevent it?

The problem is islam…..there can be no compromise with mozlums because they won’t allow the beliefs of others to be for the others, and not insist on their beliefs…their “culture,” their so-called “law” and their pretend “values,”…for which they have a totally skewed definition (with which some atheists seem to support them in having)….to be for everyone, all mozlums, and all infidels.
One cannot blend the lawlessness of islam….the lies, the extortion, the raping, the murders…with the actual Law which supports freedom of thought, freedom of speech, dress, food, and to a large degree, activities.
It just won’t work.

I don’t know where I read it but the new ruler of Syria, the HTS has amended the education in Syria schools. They changed parts that lie about Islam and of course, make it the official religion of Syria.
It’s no wonder that with the amount of Islamic people now in the U.S., and YouTube mixing all nations together in the availability of channels and comments, that it’s obvious that these people from Islamic nations believe the lies about the Jews, Christians, Hindus – be a every news site lies to them. I’m not letting them off the hook because some have been born and raised here, yet BELIEVE ALL THE LIES anyway. It’s Islamic Supremacism at its core.

BTW, for all those that are interested, MEMRI .org now has a Qatar version. It just got started so I recommend you subscribe to their emails. In addition, with MEMRI make sure you go to ‘Sermons of Imans in the West’ to hear what the mosques are saying in the U.S. as well as in other western nations. What these mosques say and load to YouTube channels is frightening.

Even aside from Christians, will other groups whose muslimness is questionable, particularly by sunnis, such as Druze, Alawites and Kurds – will they be comfortable w/ a shariah regime?

Crazy. HTS are going to turn Syria into a fully Islamic state and then in months or years become the new base for jihad against Israel. Turkey, if Erdogan and Islamists are not defeated will arm them.
Israel ( with US support) needs to remove HTS now. Either on the way to Iran or on the way back.
