CHICAGO (WLS) — A truck driver from south suburban Oak Lawn has been charged with making a bomb threat.
The incident shut down an interstate in South Carolina for hours.
Thursday afternoon, police pulled over a semi-truck on Interstate 85 in Greenville County, South Carolina because of a missing license plate.
Police say, during the stop, the driver, 28-year-old Ahmad Jamal Khamees Alhendi of Oak Lawn, indicated that there was an explosive device inside the vehicle.

ABC7 Chicago: Alhendi was taken into custody, and has been charged with breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature, conveying false information about a bomb threat and operating/permitting an unregistered vehicle.
The truck was registered to Globe Transportation out of Illinois.

I rather think the terrorist should suffer the same sentence as if he’d actually had the bomb and it went off killing 10 people. (Of course, that does not work in California when that sentence would work out to be dinner with Newsom at a top tear eatery in Napa.

The guy in Las Vegas who died by self-inflicted gun in his mouth….burned beyond recognition except for a tattoo, but his cell phones and laptop survived the explosion and fire….told a guy he was being followed by the feds because he knew something about illegal happenings in afghanistan.
The questions are more than the answers….how did he set off the bomb after shooting himself in the mouth? And how did a tattoo survive the burning which destroyed the rest of him? And how did his phones and laptop survive with out damage to the drives?

This was just a trail run to see the response of law enforcement and bomb squad. Tie up all the roads, perhaps to draw attention and have another target get hit. @Somehistory, Ergo-don is supporting ISIS. He was doing it the first time they came on the radar. Connections in the region there said “where do you think ISIS managed to get those Hi-Lux trucks?” The white trucks they used to run down Yazidis fleeing for their lives, and anyone else in their scopes.
Turkey also housed the leaders of ISIS, right on the border. They had safe haven and safe passage back and forth. It was little-publicized, and little-known. Those on the ground knew, it was obvious.

I recall that when isis first announced their intent, and many mozlums from various places were hurrying there to be part of the ‘caliphate’, erdogan was helping them get through Turkey to syria to join up.
And he also threatened to see that many of them would make it to Europe if he was not given gobs of money.
