Nigel Farage: ‘If we politically alienate the whole of Islam, we will lose’

This means that Farage will not be discussing the jihad threat, or how jihad is central to Islam. He will instead continue to pretend, like all other politicians, that Islam is peaceful, benign, and fully compatible with free societies.

Farage has been useless for years. Several years ago, Australian human rights activist Avi Yemini interviewed him, and Farage revealed his abject ignorance of Islam and the jihad threat. Farage made an absurd moral equivalence in claiming that the Old Testament was incompatible with Western values in the same way that the Qur’an is. The difference is that the Old Testament has been part of Western culture since there has been a Western culture, and interpretative traditions are mainstream in Judaism and Christianity that mitigate its violent passages and other aspects that are not in accord with modern understandings of human rights. There is no such tradition in Islam.

Farage insists that the vast majority of Muslims are assimilating and accepting Western values; he lacks, however, any coherent idea of how to deal with those who aren’t. Farage makes the familiar conflation of Islam and Muslims, arguing that if one finds any problem with Islamic texts and teachings, one is condemning all Muslims. There is no reason why that should be so, and if he would foreclose upon any discussion of the motivating ideology behind jihad terror and Sharia oppression, how can he confront them?

Farage insists that we must not think that we are at war with the entire religion. But what, Mr. Farage, are we to think about the Muslims who consider themselves and their religion to be at war with us?

Nigel Farage has become just another mainstream hack politician.

No Qurans in the 7th Century, No evidence anywhere of a 7th Century Muhammad and no Mecca as a Trade Center until the Abbasids got there in AD 750. The biggest fallacy is the idea of any Quran in Arabic; it only had 16 consonents and no vowels until the 8th century!

  4. The Old Testament shows a heck of a lot of empathy for the lowly and downtrodden and the “alien resident in the Land.” The “alien” was welcome in Israel, but they had to abide by the parts of the Law applicable to the Gentile. (non-Jew).
    The alien didn’t get to assert his *culture* or his *religion*….if he didn’t like living by the Law, he was free to leave. If he lived by it, he was not to be mistreated.

    There is no equation between what the Bible commands first, of the Jews, and then, of Christians with what mozlums learn from their religion of islam.

      What he miscalculates are the majority of Muslims in name only. Just like the Aztecs created many enemies so Islam creates many as well. The key is to speak to them and protect them from their fellow Muslims. If this is done Islam can be defeated because only the jihadists and their sympathizers will be left and they are a minority.

      “Moderate” Muslims seem to be those who do not live by the word of Allah.
      How can they continue to be followers of Islam when they choose to ignore the literal word of God?

      Please keep a watch on how the trial of the Southport killer pans out, the court case of the two Pakistani brothers who attacked police officers in Manchester airport and the case of Ricky Jones (?) who encouraged a crowd to cut the throats of right wing protesters. All these cases will be taking place in January.

      There is no reason why any of this this should lessen and stop.
      The history of Islamic jihad over many centuries makes this obvious and certain.
      And with the ongoing mass immigration into Britain the more the likelihood of danger increases.

  22. If you attack “Islam” head on with massive effort, you will strengthen their resolve. You will have to become just as bad as they are and more to defeat them. On the other hand if you destabilize and remove their top leaders when opportunity takes place and push them aside from their demanded concessions they won’t be as alarmed. It is very important to make apostasy from Islam safe for apostates. With time Islam will drain away, be critiqued more and more, and become about as influential in world affairs as the ancient Greek gods. Whither it away and let it die of its own decay.

    Islamists respects only strength and only strength can deflect it’s aims.
    When Muslims realise they are not in a position to overwhelm they back peddle and start to play victim or pseudo negotiate to buy time to build strength. We see this time and time again.
    Islam should have no place in any civilised and democratically run country.
    To have it co exist quietly and peacefully in such a country s a vain hope and one that in time must inevitably fail.
    History teaches us this.
    For apostates to safely be able to leave Islam is a wonderful aim.
    But only Islam can make that happen and the word of God forbids it.
    Who can challenge the word of God ?

      The British generation that fought through and survived the war against the Nazis were in my view the finest example of any native born generation.
      They did not need to be “enriched” by any other culture.
      This country broke itself financially to fight for the freedom of it’s people and helped to free other nations – and the greatest cost was the sacrifice of blood by it’s good men and women.

      And after the war our leaders decided to start to give our country to millions of foreign nationals and to confer upon them prior rights over us.
      It has been going on for decades.
      Some of these colonisers have shown themselves to be incompatible with any society that has decent moral principles.

      Our “leaders” , be they Labour or Conservative politicians, civil servants,judges, the Church and especially the Police have all betrayed us and consigned the native ordinary British people to the dustbin.

      And a dustbin ( or “trash can” to you Americans )is what Britain has now become.

      An ancient race is being overwhelmed and along with that, the oppression of the ordinary, kind and decent people of these Islands.
      And it is these folk who are Britain’s finest treasure.

      • I am very proud of my mother and aunt joining the British army as young women during WWII. My mother was a teletype operator for the Ministry of Informaton and survived a direct bomb hit on the bulding she was working in (it was thankfully a dud, but still took out the hallway outside her office and they had to wait three days to be rescued). My aunt drove huge supply trucks in dangerous blackout conditions between London and the mouth of the Thames. Both survivd the London Blitz.

      I’m not British, but what it sounds like to me is akin to a farmer who has a barnyard of livestock, and in order to feel good about his situation while taking inventory, counts the foxes, wolves and weasels along with the chickens, pigs and little lambs.

      • SH, we often agree. We do here. I rationalize by remembering that the first step to solving any problem is to recognize and admit that a problem exists. Demographic self-destruction* is not unique to any society today. For example, take a look at the US Jewish community where they have been far below a replacement birth rate and a third of the Jews who marry, marry non-Jews and convert away from Judaism. The campaign against racism has been so successful that it no longer matters who follows or what society remains after we die.

        *I decline to misuse the word suicide when referring to a mass decision to self-destruct. Suicide is when I choose to end MY life.

        • SH I love what I learned while a part of the Jewish community. I have many reasons to wish all Jews well. I was asked to leave because I challenged the “religion of peace” lie. During my tenure, I heard a sermon that included a story about a grandson and grandfather planting walnut trees, which take 70, SEVENTY, years to produce walnuts. The boy asks, “Why do we plant these trees?” “So that your grandchildren can have walnuts.” The goal of continuing our society has been eroded to the point that nobody cares.

          I wonder what that says about the self-image of people who do not care what they leave behind? Interesting psychological question to ponder.

Farage has now accused Tommy Robinson of having convictions for violence against women. Given that Farage cannot even manage a minor acquaintance with the truth, he’s not fit.

    • So the Muslim take over of Britain is inevitable now by reproductive rate alone ?
      And you are right that Farage is not to blame for that outcome.
      But he does not have to help facilitate it.
      I could have much to say about young native British white couple who both working on minimum wage cannot afford to even rent accomodation to provide a child a home. That most Pakistani women do not work and are basically breeding machines. That Somali Muslims have homes given to them, 58,% of social housing in London, and they are unemployed and don’t pay taxes and have plenty of time to breed on state support. Yes and how imported cheap labour gives no chance of a viable wage for native born unskilled English.
      But don’t get me started let’s go back to Farage,
      the man who says he is” not concerned” about demographic replacement.
      The man who’s says he is not in favour of mass deportations, which is now the only damn thing that will save the English from becoming an unfavoured minority in the land of their ancestors.
      The man that,as stated here, is saying we will lose if we isolate Islam
      and the man who appointed a Muslim as party chairman ( or rather ‘ Reform Ltd ‘ chair.
      So Farage has rolled over, and won’t even speak up to preserve our nation or our people. He is happy wherever
      the votes come from as long as it feeds his ego to become Tory Party leader.
      Is he so naive to think that there will be any democracy in an Islamic state ?
      So he is giving up before he even starts to fight and he is scared of the MSM.We don’t have the luxury of time to play with. The time for leaders to speak out is now!

      And yes, I voted for Reform which is increasingly showing itself to be a dead end channel for the votes if the angry and disillusioned.
      And it’s getting to the stage when British men, particularly ENGLISH men will have to stand up themselves and defend their families and their nation because the uni party politicians and the State have failed us.

  31. Farage is missing the point (or he is biding his time until he will have the power to speak the truth about islam) not sure which is true. We should have never allowed even 1 muslim into the western countries, ever! Big mistake, we are already paying for it with blood of innocent Americans and Europeans. Yet the left is still in complete denial. The left will get us all killed eventually!
