For that prophecy to come true, Muslims will have to kill Jews. That means that some Muslims will have to see it as prescriptive, not descriptive. Does Salhia really not realize this? Or is he just trying to evade scrutiny?

How does this make the slightest sense? For this to possibly be the case, this would have to be something that had *already occurred*. Clearly, Muslims have not been able to commit genocide against the Jews.
Then, since all pious Muslims want to see the last days at some point, this Hadith clearly urges Muslims to murder Jews.
