NEA Promotes World Hijab Day, Ignores Women Brutalized and Killed for Not Wearing Hijab

Saturday, Feb. 1, is another World Hijab Day, a Western feminist expression of solidarity with Muslim women in the United States who are supposedly oppressed and discriminated against because they wear the hijab. The National Education Association (NEA) is going in for this in a big way out of concern for hijab-wearing Muslim women who have supposedly been discriminated against. Notably absent, however, is any NEA concern for women who have been victimized for not wearing the hijab.

The NEA asserted Wednesday that “Muslim students in the United States—from middle school through college and university—are experiencing harassment, discrimination, and bullying at scary rates, surveys show. On college campuses, 49% of Muslim students experienced harassment or discrimination due to their Muslim identity, they told the Council on American–Islamic Relations-CA in 2024. More than one in three felt targeted by professors; more than half by their peers.” That would be terrible indeed, but it ain’t necessarily so.

Nonetheless, in order to counter this alleged harassment and discrimination, the NEA wants you to observe World Hijab Day, and quotes one of the proponents of the day as saying: “The whole goal is to dismantle Islamophobia.” The idea that there have been any significant manifestations of “Islamophobia” is, however, dubious; note that the NEA relies for its data on the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Yet CAIR has been caught promoting numerous fake hate crimes.

Also, the oppression related to the hijab is not linked to wearing it, but to not wearing it. Actual incidents of Muslim women being harassed or discriminated against for wearing the hijab in the U.S., meanwhile, are extraordinarily hard to find. It’s much easier to find examples of Muslim women in America who falsely claimed that they were being harassed or discriminated against in order to score points on the left’s insane scale of victimhood worship.

Back on Sept. 16, 2022, in Tehran, the Iranian morality police arrested Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, for not wearing her hijab properly. Amini later died in a hospital in Tehran, and numerous Iranians charged that she had been tortured to death while in custody. All over the country, protesters took to the streets to protest not against the hijab laws, but against the repressive and brutal Islamic Republic itself.

Other women, and male protesters as well, were killed as the Iranian regime ruthlessly applied the Qur’anic injunction to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (8:60). The protests went on for months until the regime began summarily executing protesters, and even then some indomitably courageous Iranians continued to take to the streets to demand their freedom.

It is against that backdrop that World Hijab Day is once again being celebrated. For innumerable women in Iran, the hijab is the most visible sign of their second-class status, and of the brutality of the regime that will imprison them for years or even kill them outright for daring to venture out in public without wearing it.

More specifically, Islam is a Muslim Terrorist Ideology and Criminal Organization of discrimination, segregation, supremacy, genocide, polygamy, deceit, hatred, incitement, sedition, rape, terrorism, and violence against all Non-Muslims as taught in the Quran. Fundamentally, Islam is a Terrorist Criminal Enterprise. The FRUIT of Islam is continual WAR, terrorism, discrimination, and violence against all Non-Muslims; this FACT must be taught and broadcast to the general public to prohibit Islam, its Mosques, and its Schools. Also, Islam is an Antichrist System terrorizing Israel, Christians, and Non-Muslims. Plus, there is NO EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW in Islam or in Islamic Law(Quran 98:6-7; 9:29 and more). In Sahih Bukhari(V6,B60,N80), Abu Huraira narrates, “‘You(Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised for mankind.’ means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them[Non-Muslims] with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam[see Quran 3:110].” See also Quran 69:30-32; 3:151.

    Non-Muslims CANNOT have peace with Islam and its Muslims because Islam and its murderous god, Allah, demand a continuous, Muslim war against unbelievers where Non-Muslims are CRIMINALS under Islam as Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…” HENCE, NON-MUSLIMS MUST MAKE ISLAM, ITS MOSQUES, ITS SCHOOLS, ITS ORGANIZATIONS, ETC. ILLEGAL UNDER THE LAW. Similarly, Islam and its many Organizations must be identified and publicly declared to be MUSLIM TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS for their funding, teaching, and support of terrorism, violence, and discrimination against Non-Muslims(eg. Quran 9:5,29,111 and more).

    Islam promotes a terroristic, Muslim war against unbelievers when Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed JIHAD with THEIR MONEY AND THEIR LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”

    Deceitful Allah promises Heavenly Paradise to Muslims for acts of Muslim killing in a terrorist war against Non-Muslims and hypocrites when Quran 9:111 says, “Surely Allah has purchased from the believers[Muslims] their souls and their money so that they may have the garden[Heavenly Paradise]. They engage in war for the sake of Allah, so they kill and are killed…”

    Islam champions Muslim acts of slaughter against Non-Muslims for not becoming Muslims as Allah in Qur’an 8:12 says, “When your lord revealed to the angels: ‘I am with you so make firm those who believed[Muslims]. I will cast a terror into the hearts of those who became infidels[Non-Muslims]. So strike above their necks(decapitation), and strike off(chop off) every finger from them.’”

    Allah instructs Muslims to attack Non-Muslims when Quran 9:29 says, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid[via Islam’s Law, Sharia], nor believe in the religion of the truth[Islam] among those who have been given the book[Christians and Jews] until they pay the jizyah[extortion payment] out of hand and they are subdued[disgraced].”

  4. The hijab is the mark of noncompetitive nations which limit the talent and energy of women to domestic life, servicing the Quran’s specific declaration that men and boys are “superior” to women and also deserve twice a woman’s inheritance.

    This originated to keep the “homefires burning” while the men conducted wars, ravaging, raping, their way to increased wealth and power in the name of religion. Imagine a religion that tells women that they must tolerate their warrior husband bringing home a slave or three for sex. Only the Quran has a chapter(Surah) name that translates into “Booty”, containing instructions of how to divide war loot, including women and future slaves.

    Reading the Quran in chronological order reveals its evolution as first, a benevolent but largely resisted new ideology without a slice of the economic pie of Mecca, then, into a precise instrument of war for economy, power, expansion, and the control of Mecca. Sura 9 describes its final demeanor of war on unbelievers and apostates – without a sunset clause.

    Any Western woman donning a hijab is ignorant of what it really means, of questionable wisdom, or both.

    A woman in women’s movement, donning a hijab, is displaying a “flag” that says, “I’m inferior to men, limited to domestic work, belong in the back of the Mosque, not welcome in politics, and subject to punishment if I don’t wear this”.

    Nations like SA and Qatar are only rich because of oil wealth under their feet. The Islamic nations, without oil, who throw away the talent of their women, cannot compete in the modern world where Islam’s male power is checkmated by the West. Islam has a poor work ethic; it has a stronger “take from the unbelievers” ethic that is in now the wrong environment to succeed.

  5. It is a very true statement when it was said that “World Hijab Day” is nothing to celebrate” For the hijab is literal object and symbolic item of the harsh oppression of girls and women of the misogyny in “The House of Islam.”

    Sharia or as many Westerners call it “Sharia Law” very much supports the Islamic practice of females being force to wear the hijab.

    So it should be made known that the actual origin of Sharia had been revealed in a Time –Life book with the title MESOPOTAMIA: THE MIGHTY KINGS copyright 1995 ” For that future history book about the ancient pagan world of Mesopotamia informs the reader that “many Islamic laws resemble the Babylon and Assyrian forebears.” .page 150.

    Therefore, Sharia is of pagan origin and therefore has no value or worth, so likewise the “World Hijab Day “ is actually a farce.

  6. World Hijab Day is a hoax. The forcing of girls and women to wear the hijab is part of the
    malicious and oppressive misogyny that is part of ,the basic essence, of the misogyny of Islam.

    The misogyny of Islam is explained, exposed and revealed by a scholar of Islam who revealed in her book “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islam ideology.” Furthermore, the author also exposes that `” Women is Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.” [1]

  7. Oh, don’t they look so fetching and glamorous and groovy in their hijabs in that propaganda photo. They are celebrating being considered second rate and inferior to the knuckle dragging Muslim males. Then a woman decides not to wear the hijab and is hauled off to jail. I do think many Muslim women in our western societies like to wear the hijab to show us that they Muslims not evil infidels like the non Muslims are.

    • Tim, I compare how these fools look to the little girl in the photo about the legalization by the ghouls of pakistan, aghanistan, iran, etc. in the sex-slavery of the little girls.

      The little children, and the women forced to wear these ugly symbols of terrorist control, look as if they are choking; their little faces pinched tight by the edges of the material.
      There are no smiles on those being forced to wear the ugly things. Misery and sadness and abject depression, a giving up shows in their little faces.

      What these women are doing in parading around and making a ‘day’ of special lies, is just as evil as the other things mozlums do to spread their terror.

It is surely an evil thing to do for the women in that propaganda photo to be creating such an impression of being oh so happy in their groovy jihads when Muslim women and girls are being forced to wear the oppressive hijab all over the barbaric, backwards Muslim world.

I remember a few years ago seeing some young Muslim woman on tv here in Australia saying that she freely chose to wear the hijab and it was empowering and I thought, what a load of bullshit and she didn’t wear it some Muslim male would probably beat the crap out of her.

        • Yes, Tim, that “empowering” stuff is just nonsense, but it’s evil in that it is meant to mislead , especially young infidel women who may be dating some mozlum slugs.

          Until a young person gets to the age of about 25, the brain is still developing and one can be easily misled. It’s even worse for young people who have parents who have not given them a sound foundation, but then they go off to university.
          Many mozlums attend universities when they get to the West…and the males look for the vulnerable young women to lure with their fake romance.

          The claims by the mozlum females about how their scarves make them special…empowered…yada yada…and it’s all according to the demands of spreading islam.

    • And Tim and Somehistory, “World Hijab Day” is not just about Muslim women wearing the Hijab–this pushes *all* women to entomb themselves in the head bag, first on February 1, and then everyday.

      Nazma Khan–a Bangladeshi Muslim–began this travesty in New York City, She only claims that 9/11 was awful because people were concenred about Islamic terrorism. Shew says that this would only end “if we ask our fellow sisters to experience hijab themselves”. When Muslims are in power, this is not “asked”, but enforced.

      • The full covering, the bag or tent is a hideous sight.,gravenimage, one of thousands of hideous aspects of islam. It really is like living the way Arabs used to live in the 7th century. Just a disgraceful way for a woman to live in 2025. I often do get the feeling that Muslims wear the hijab as a kind of Muslim uniform and probably get around making the point that they are part of team Muslim not the infidel team. Islam, what a load of barbaric crap it is. It should have died of shame centuries ago. How embarrassing to be part of such primitive filth.

      • Yes, g, we are aware. It isn’t just the ugly terror scarves; it’s all of what they do and insist on the rest of us doing.
        But, they pretend that the scarf is something entirely different from the reality. Just as they say they are peaceful and tolerant, but the evidence says otherwise. They use the scarf to blind the public…if possible….to its real purpose.

        • One other thing about their scarves: the little girls and their moms, sisters, etc. in afghanistan and other places like it, wear all black…ugly and thick and holding heat in the hot summers.

          But, in the U.S. and other *free* places (dwindling quickly) the mozlums wear silky, filmy, soft colors and intricate designs, flowing and cool. More deception to fool the unwary, the naive, , the uninformed.

    The whole point of veiling–including wearing Hijab–is so Muslim women will be “known and not molested”. So Hijab is necessary because otherwise Muslims will molest and rape women.

    Does the NEA realize just what it is that they are teaching here? I doubt it…

  9. Western feminists for islam. It doesn’t get any crazier than that. If Western feminists continue on their bent solidarity with muslims I dont think they will be a force to reckon with down the road. If you hated Western feminists and wanted them dead you couldn’t come up with a more disastrous course of action for them.

    In the past the left has been very vocal on the separation of religion and state. I suppose that doesn’t include islam because islam is not a religion it is a cult. And we all know how much the left loves cults.

  13. I would counter with a “World Hijab Choice Day.”

    Worldwide – including muslim majority countries – a choice to wear – or NOT wear – the hijab.

    Let’s see how that works out…
