And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

QUETTA: Police in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province said on Wednesday they had booked a man for killing his 14-year-old daughter, an American citizen, on allegations she had committed blasphemy and posted objectionable videos of herself on TikTok.
Anwaar-ul-Haq, who was living in New York for the past 28 years, returned with his family to the southwestern Quetta city on Jan. 22 to meet relatives in the city, Station House Officer (SHO) Babar Shahwani of the Gawalmandi Police Station said.
Shahwani said Haq filed a complaint with police on Jan. 27 that unidentified men shot his daughter dead outside their home in Quetta at around 11:00 pm.
“The police commenced initial investigations from the family and we booked her father and uncle who during interrogations confessed to killing Hira,” Shahwani told Arab News.
Zohaib Mohsin, senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Serious Crimes Investigation Wing Balochistan, told Arab News that Haq brought his daughter outside their home when his brother-in-law, Muhammad Tayyab, shot her multiple times.
“We have confiscated Hira’s mobile phone and sent for forensic which would unfold more aspects of the murder,” Mohsin said.
Shahwani said Haq confessed during interrogation that he killed his daughter and alleged that she stopped believing in Islam and used to make blasphemous remarks, and posted objectionable videos of herself on TikTok.
Under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws, anyone found guilty of insulting Islam or its religious figures can be sentenced to death. Authorities have yet to carry out such a penalty, although the accusation of blasphemy and opposition to the law can incite mob violence or reprisals.
Mohsin said the investigation so far has revealed that the family objected to Hira’s dressing, lifestyle, social gatherings and relations….

I might differ slightly on the matter. It does appear the religion was designed to streamline men into pillagers of other societies to grow wealth and expand geographical control through war. And of course, to justify brutal acts and slavery without conscience.
This left women, though powerless, to raise children and assume all of the duties of homelife. There is no doubt that Muslim women loved their children intently as is normal for women everywhere who have sacrificed body and labor to have them. In Islam, the seared conscience and unhealthy superior attitude belongs mainly to men.
Islam has such an ugly history of what it has done in the past to other societies, that even though it became gentler in a few Muslim nations, it became necessary in those nations to point out the early Quranic demeanor of Islam and deny the brute it became with later, “revelations”. Sura 9 tells the final story. It’s obvious why the Quran is not in chronological order – that would be the testament of a religion, “breaking bad”.
Christianity – Make good men better and teach them to love their wives as equals.
Islam – Make men into warriors and their wives into servants. Love is optional and is subservient to a call to battle.
Is there a reason why it is women who are the greatest resistance to the Islamic government of Iran? The 1979 “revolution” was partly to regain power over women for men.
This killer of his daughter went took the family women back to Pakistan because he couldn’t control them in a free society – he was not King of his own world. In Pakistan he had other men who would help force them into compliance, yet, the daughter would not comply so he got assistance and killed her. Did he love his daughter? Did he ever love a daughter? There may be some mozlum women who love their children. But from all of the evidence I have seen, they are very few and far between.
There have been many women who helped their husbands murder their children, and many who have committed abuse and murder on their own. Besides the ones who willingly send their children out to be sacrifices, carrying bombs on their tiny backs.
The women in iran who risk their lives to rebel against the abuse….no one knows beyond that how they are in their own families….it’s possible those women are not truly mozlum.

I think Islam developed “Stockholm Syndrome” in women, centuries before it had a name, by reducing them to chattle without the means or ability to resist. It’s not rational to think that a majority of Muslim mothers don’t love their children and there are no statistics to prove what would be unnatural.
As for Iranian women protesting a cruel, beastly, government not being Muslim, that would only be in their minds, not in government records.
Iran, of course, will not remain stable. Worldwide information is now too penetrating for governments or religionists to control. The Mullahs will be gone from power, the only question is, when?

Sorry, I really can’t make that assumption. My view of religion is that it is strongest in those whose natural tendencies align with it. In that regard, Islam is more like the Nazi era, temporarily carrying those who don’t agree with the majority madness. We would not make a blanket assumption about Germany today because of what was the civil religion under the Nazi regime. In fact Germany is destroying its own culture by trying to lose that heritage by opening its arms to Islam and playing at proxy war..
I cannot equate people to zero because they are caught in a failing, brutal ideology that varies in its expression from one Muslim nation to the next. Like any society there are good and bad, the problem is it fits the alphas like a glove.

And I’m not asking you to *assume* anything. I’m just expressing what I believe is the case.
If the women love their kids, then they will fight for them, not just give them over to be murdered by their husbands/fathers.
If the women wish to leave islam, but cannot physically do so for fear of being murdered, that is something we cannot know.
But, there are too many cases of women going along with their husbands in the murders of their daughters, for me to *assume* that they really do love their kids like people who are not raised to hate, and to view their children as fodder to sacrifice for the spread of evil.
This particular case was begun in America by a mozlum ghoul who had evidently come here from pakistan and wanted his daughter to be as she would have been had he stayed there and fathered her.
His wife…the girl’s mother…had to know what was planned. She would have to be deaf, blind and totally stupid not to know what her husband planned. Surely he had expressed his anger before leaving the U.S. behind.
But, did she raise an alarm with the police? She would have been helped if she had gone to a shelter with her daughter.
My opinion stands. islam does not allow for love, and does not in any way, encourage it.
