WASHINGTON/BEIRUT, Dec 1 (Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday said Lebanese American businessman Massad Boulos would serve as senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs.
Trump made the announcement on Truth Social. Boulos, the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany, met repeatedly with Arab American and Muslim leaders during the election campaign.
It was the second time in recent days that Trump chose the father-in-law of one of his children to serve in his administration.
On Saturday, Trump said that he had picked his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s father, real estate mogul Charles Kushner, to serve as U.S. ambassador to France.
In recent months, Boulos campaigned for Trump to drum up Lebanese and Arab American support, even as the U.S.-backed Israel’s military campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Boulos has powerful roots in both countries.
His father and grandfather were both figures in Lebanese politics and his father-in-law was a key funder of the Free Patriotic Movement, a Christian party aligned with Hezbollah….

    • I doubt it, Dan. Trump has shown before that he is in many ways clueless about Islam. At least he is actually anti violent Jihad–these days that’s something.

    Means all of them whenever they are in USA, Canada, Europe, etc. are running to please the Muslims for their money.

    No one of them care what Muslims are doing in their countries against the citizens by murder, raping, beheading theft, threat, etc.

    Means do we make mistake to vote for Mr. Trump.

    or what is the difference between Mr. Trump or Kamela Harris.

    • Mr. Trump didn’t win the election because of the Muslims vote.

      But he wins the election by the Christians who are originally from Middle East and are ten times more than the Muslims.

      Those Christians from Middle East were suffering and living under threat 24 hours a day 7 days a week from the Muslims and their sharia law.

        Plus, majorities. Of the Muslims they don’t go to vote.

        If the election president of the Democratic party wins, Muslims are there.

        • There are not 300 million Muslims in the US, thank goodness. That would be almost the entire population of America.

  5. True Christians do not align with terrorists. True Christians do not align with those who hate Jesus (or His brothers) and lie about Him. True Christians do not align with liars, extortionists, rapists and murderers.

    Any person, group or entity aligning with mozlum terrorists cannot rightly claim to be Christian. If they claim it, they are lying it.

  6. When a Republican President deceives the American people by supporting Islamic terrorism, is justification for removal from the office of the President. I feel betrayed!!!

    This is a clear indication, Trump knows exactly nothing about Islam. Therefore, given Washington DC is totally dominated by Muslim integration/organization/money/lies/deception/subversion, America is doomed to Sharia Law. It won’t happen tomorrow but, look at the UK, will Islamophobia laws be written by Congress? Will gun confiscation be around the corner?

    I’m no longer happy, Trump is our President!

    • I don’t think that Trump is deceiving us–like so many, he is clueless about many aspects of Islam. He is probably still better than most who might have run for president, and definitely better than Harris would have been.

      This does not mean that he doesn’t have huge blindspots. though.

Foreign nationals who seek entry to the U.S. can be deemed inadmissible from entry and for immigration benefits if they have associated with, supported or worked with terrorist organizations.
    However, the DHS secretary can exempt certain foreign nationals from that inadmissibility, including if they have provided support under duress, if they have provided medical care, and they meet other standards for exemptions.

    Utter madness–but grimly nothing new. Trump *is* more anti-Jihad than most US presidents, for which I am heartily glad. But sadly he has shown before that he understands little about Islam itself, and nothing about stealth Jihad. Islam will contiue to be a threat to us.

    • Indeed, graven. How troubling this is. I suspect this imam will cite Koranic passage 5:32, or Sura 1. 5:32 will be recited in English, but the brief Sura 1, which is an imprecation against Jews and Christians, will be delivered in the original Arabic, with a whitewashed, misleading “translation” provided by this helpful imam. It’s been done before at previous inaugurations. We shall see.
