Activist media lapdogs won’t give up their hatred for Trump, no matter how desperate and unhinged they show themselves to be. Even a lighthearted story about Trump receiving a special inauguration memento from Coke CEO James Quincey drew from them an unbalanced reaction.
Contrary to the title of the article below, there is absolutely nothing “bizarre” about Diet Coke’s inauguration gift. Of course, the intent is to make businesses believe the lie that by supporting Trump, they’ll lose business. It’s the left that has been hemorrhaging profits due to truly bizarre marketing. Remember what happened to Bud Light? Disney? Target?
From picking on the incoming president’s personal diet to irrationally attacking incoming Health and Human Services Secretary “anti-vaxxer Robert F Kennedy Jr,” the desperation of the Indy100 (an offshoot of the Independent) article is telling.
The left FAILED to make the American people believe that just about everyone hates Trump. But they’ll never learn.
Liam O’Dell, who wrote the article below, wants readers to believe that “Trump critics are switching to Pepsi.” It’s just too soon after the presentation of the commemorative inaugural Diet Coke bottle was presented to have any information on this beyond a few anecdotal claims. O’Dell even writes:

I remember how the Left loved Coke for joining in the protests against the passage of a law in Georgia in 2021 (after the fact) that limited access to ballots after the vote – a fact that was conveniently left out by the media, to cover up the real issue at hand – the Zuckerbucks boxes. Essentially Coke and Delta were responding to calls by Leftists elsewhere in the country to boycott Georgia, and the Superbowl that year was moved from Atlanta to Denver. In response, there was a call by Conservatives to boycott Coke. I had been a Coca Cola addict for 50 years, but gave it up in response. Don’t plan to go back to it despite this gesture
It’s funny to see the Left seethe at the revelation that the power it had to cancel any person or business, which was strong during the first Trump presidency and peaked in 2020-22, has finally collapsed. It would be even nicer if businesses gave them the 🖕 and told them to shop elsewhere
That said, I’d like to see the end of Cancel Culture, and see companies go back to just selling their products or services. They’re doing well by canning their DEI initiatives and firing all their DEI hires, but they need to also do that to their ESG initiatives, and also can any employees that dare misbehave w/ people just b’cos they are conservatives. I recall how during the first Trump presidency, there were incidents like Sean Spicer being abused in an Apple store, Sarah Huckabee Sanders being declined service at a Red Hen Inn in Virginia, and mobs attacking Ted Cruz and Kirsten Nielsen at restaurants. This time, the companies should instantly fire employees that dare subvert the business w/ such calls
