It would be an even worse “disaster” to allow Iran’s Shia doomsday regime to acquire a nuclear bomb. The Islamic Republic of Iran is now in a weakened state, as it has lost ally Syria; its chief proxy Hizballah is greatly weakened; and its client Hamas has been weakened as well. In desperation, it’s talking big in an attempt to deter Trump and Netanyahu.
At the same time, Iran’s foreign affairs minister Abbas Araghchi mocked Trump “for proposing a ‘clean out’ of Palestinians from Gaza. Iran’s top diplomat suggested instead that Israelis be sent to Greenland.”
The only problem is that Israelis are in their ancestral lands. The Palestinians are Ottoman South Syrians.
Yet putting jokes and Iranian bravado aside, the Financial Times has reported that Iran is “rethinking confrontation with Trump,” pointing out:
For years, a US flag was painted on the floor of Iran’s presidential compound, strategically located so that visitors would trample over the Stars and Stripes on their way in. Shortly before Donald Trump’s inauguration, however, the flag was quietly removed.
The former Israeli Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, stated that “under the Democrats, the Iranians were pretty assured that they could get away with just about anything and never pay a price.” But now, the regime sees Trump as “unpredictable because he did take out [IRGC leader Qasem] Soleimani, and because he did withdraw from the nuclear deal.”
In addition, Trump placed severe sanctions upon Iran during his first term; also, Iran must now deal with the alliance of a determined Trump and an equally determined Netanyahu.
“US and Israel would be ‘crazy’ to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities,” by Dominic Waghorn, Sky News, January 29, 2025:
Iran says Israel and America would be “crazy” to attack its nuclear facilities, adding it would spell a “very bad disaster” for the region.
The warning came in the first interview to be given by Iran’s foreign minister since its arch nemesis Donald Trump’s inauguration.
In an exclusive interview with Sky News in the Iranian capital, Abbas Araghchi also mocked the US president for proposing a “clean out” of Palestinians from Gaza. Iran’s top diplomat suggested instead that Israelis be sent to Greenland.
Mr Araghchi invited Sky News to Iran’s foreign ministry for the interview, taking the opportunity to address talk of Israel attacking Iran’s alleged nuclear weapons programme with US backing.
“We have made it clear,” he said, “that any attack to our nuclear facilities would be faced with an immediate and decisive response. But I don’t think they will do that crazy thing. This is really crazy. And this would turn the whole region into a very bad disaster.”…

Empty threats from Iran are laughable, given how effective their defenses were a few months ago when Israel retaliated against their barrage of attacks on the latter. In fact, Israel almost did to Iran what they comprehensively did to Syria last month
Now that Israel has been given their 2000lb bombs, they can pick a time & place of their choosing to take out Iran’s nuke facilities. Somehow, I doubt that we’re gonna be the ones to do it

So what’s wrong with attacking Kharg? Just bomb the oil refineries there: they’re not nuclear facilities, and the destruction of the ability to export oil would be disastrous for that country and thus for its regime. Hit them where it hurts most, in the wallet.

Mooslimes get the crap kicked out of them and they declare victory because not all of them are dead. Then, like the delusional morons they are, try to intimidate the U.S.(under Trump) and Israel which has proven it can do whatever it wants to there idiots. Bomb kharg and then go after their nuke facilities and finally go after the mooslime leadership.
