The Palestinians and their leaders of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas honor and encourage the murder of Israelis “as Islamic religious acts.”
According to Palestinian Media Watch, every jihad terrorist killed whom the Israelis kill is deemed to be “doing the highest service of Islam. He is dying for the sake of Allah and thus reaches the elite status of Shahid, i.e. Martyr.”

Hundreds of Palestinians are reportedly making pilgrimages to the neighborhood in Rafah where Hamas terrorist leader Yahya Sinwar was killed in October, turning the ruined building where he died into an impromptu shrine.
The owners of the property say they might turn it into an actual shrine or museum.
Sinwar was killed on October 16, 2024 while attempting to sneak out of Rafah with a few bodyguards and bags of cash. He had the misfortune of blundering into an Israeli military patrol that engaged his retinue without realizing who he was.
The Hamas leader was cornered in a bombed-out building. An Israeli drone recorded him seated in an armchair upstairs, with one of his hands missing. His final act was to weakly fling his weapon at the drone, which proceeded to record his death in an explosion several moments later.
Hamas has mythologized the death of its leader into a courageous act of “resistance” and defiance – and it is a mythology many Palestinians seem eager to buy into.
The National reported on Wednesday that “hundreds of visitors” have flocked to the neighborhood of Tel Al Sultan where Sinwar died and clambered over the rubble of the building where he was killed, treating the ruined house as a “symbol of honor and defiance.”
Some residents have spoken of renaming the area “Tel Al Sinwar” in tribute to the Hamas leader, while the owners of the ruined building are thinking of building a Sinwar museum.
“I am so proud that Sinwar was martyred in my house,” owner Ashraf Abu Taha told The National. “I’m not sad that my house was destroyed because the last one to stay in it was Sinwar.”
“I plan to turn the house into a shrine to honour his memory. I’m thinking of rebuilding it and dedicating a special room as a museum, showcasing the items Sinwar used during his last moments,” he said, proudly boasting he has recovered the very armchair Sinwar was sprawled in when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) blew him to smithereens. If nothing else, that chair was extremely well made.

The IDF needs to destroy the shrine. I don’t think a shrine for Hitler would have lasted a few hours in Germany after their defeat.

The Israelis should have demolished that building, and made it off limits to all Palis. I remember that after Adolf Eichmann was executed, the Israelis cremated him, and then scattered his ashes over the Mediterranean, so that there could be no monuments erected to pay homage to him. They needed to do the same thing w/ Sinwar and anyone they killed within Gaza, even if they couldn’t have done that w/ targets like Haniyeh and Nasrallah

I’ve always said that you can learn a lot about a people by learning who they deem heroes.Sinwar Yahya murdered Jews and even stole from his own people–and was running away when he died. But pious Muslims consider this cowardly thug a great hero.
Whereas, Americans consider the Founding Fathers, astronauts, and firefighters saving others to be heroes. Even at the sillier end, figures like sports stars, actors, ad musicians are seldom harmful. Not so with pious Muslims…

The US believes that Hamas has been able to completely replace the operatives killed by Israel thanks to successful recruiting.
“We are in a situation where the pace at which Hamas is rebuilding itself is higher than the pace that the IDF is eradicating them,” Amir Avivi, a retired Israeli brigadier general, told the Wall Street Journal earlier this month.
“Mohammed Sinwar is managing everything.”
Sinwar is reportedly ordering his men to use the promise of food and medicine to recruit thousands of new members to Hamas amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Hamas members are even going as far as attending funerals of Palestinians killed in the war in the hopes of winning over angry mourners, according to the WSJ.
Sinwar’s name and status are likely the key drivers for those recruitment efforts, said Colin Clarke, a counter-terrorism expert at New York-based Soufan Group.
But only time will tell if Sinwar proves to be the threat his brother was, or if he will be nothing more than a benefactor of nepotism.”

No there’s a ‘ceasefire’ this terrorist filth are going to resurrect and re-arm themselves and there’s nothing to stop them.
