The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed a call by U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy to add a warning label to alcoholic drinks Americans consume.
In his advisory, Murthy says alcohol consumption is to blame for almost one million preventable cancer cases in the U.S. over the last decade and that about 20,000 people die every year from alcohol-related cancer. Alcoholic drinks already carry warning labels for pregnant women and those driving vehicles, but Murthy calls for adding a cancer warning….

They the government love telling you what behavior ,though ,or speech is acceptable .What millions of people who get cancer have other behaviors ,or diet with foods have been completely change threw chemicals ,genic engineering ,what any number of popular drugs people take by prescription combine with other known and unknown factors .Alcohol is not general good for you ,using large amounts will hurt your health, ,job performance ,family life and lead to an early death ,this has been common knowledge for over three hundred years at least . After going after tobacco for the last 60 plus years ,lets go after alcohol ,next start banning different foods .If CAIR or the people who back CAIR want a “dry” nation they are free to move to a dry nation .I do not see Mormons telling non-Mormons not to drink. I do see Jews telling non-Jews not to eat pork . I do not see Catholics telling Moslems when they can and cannot fast for their holidays. Is this going on because Kennedy will be working in the Trump administration looking into why we are a country whose health has been getting worse with more obesity ,lower life span in the last 40 years ,in contrast that on a whole we smoke less and drink less then we did 40 years ago?

Drinking to the point of staying drunk, has all kinds of complications. Drinking in moderation can be good for the person (The Bible in the writings of King Solomon make those points clear, as does the advice Paul wrote to Timothy)
Unless a person is endangering another…childcare, driving operating, etc…..it’s really no one’s business if another drinks alcohol. The present ‘admin’ has been busy getting into everyone’s business and dictating what to do and not do.
Since Mr. RF, Kennedy, Jr. has been making the points about the dies added to things like kids’ cereal, desserts, etc…..for sales purposes only….causing all kinds of health problems, those who oppose him claim he’s going to take away our food.
Will they have anything to say about this alcohol news?
And would hooper and awad be pleased if this surgeon general said lying was illegal, bad, and a national warning was issued? How about banging the forehead on the floor with backsides in the air? Or shouting that phrase mozlums like to scream when attacking? Or women all covered up where no sunshine gets to their skin as they walk about in places like Dearborn and Hamtramck should be banned as unhealthy? After all, those mozlums have a lot of children to care for….so shouldn’t their activities be scrutinized and monitored?
