Hamas Celebrates Ceasefire Deal in Gaza, and with Good Reason

Hamas jihadis and their supporters are out in force on the streets of Gaza, celebrating the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal as a massive victory for the jihad terrorist group over Israel and the United States. And they have ample reason to believe that the deal is indeed a victory for them.

Donald Trump, however, disagrees. The incoming president is enthusiastic about the deal, writing on Truth Social: “This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies. I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones.” Old Joe Biden’s State Department talking head Matthew Miller agreed, saying: “When it comes to the involvement of President-elect Trump’s team, it’s been absolutely critical in getting this deal over the line.”

That was an uncharacteristic display of generosity from Miller and the Biden regime, and don’t think for a nanosecond that regime wonks have suddenly become appreciative of Trump and his team, and willing to acknowledge when they’ve done something good. Miller’s giving credit to the Trump team is an indication that even the Biden regime knows how bad this deal is for Israel and its allies, and for the free world as a whole. The Biden apparatchiks’ happiness to let Trump take credit is almost certainly in view of the day when all this blows up, and Trump will be the one left holding the bag. (However, when Old Joe Biden himself was asked if Trump deserved credit, he said: “Is that a joke?”)

How bad is it? It makes a replay, and quite likely more than one replay, of Hamas’ massacre of 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023 a very real possibility. The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) explains the multistage deal’s “first stage apparently includes withdrawing from northern Gaza – which will be immediately repopulated with a million Gazans and will make it impossible to finish removing Hamas terrorists from these areas, and close to impossible to rescue or militarily pressure Hamas to release the remaining two-thirds of the hostages. Thus, Hamas obtains almost all of what it wants in the first stage!”

ZOA adds that the deal also involves “the release of 50 Palestinian Arab terrorists serving life sentences. These are essentially convicted murderers with Jewish blood on their hands who are likely to murder Jews again.” There are precedents: back in 2011, Israel exchanged 1,027 Palestinian Arab prisoners for one kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. Dozens of the freed prisoners returned to jihad terror activity.

        I’m still surprised that Israel was able to “head this off” until now.

        The only hope now is if Hamas breaks the cease-fire:

        That would give Israel and its IDF political cover to complete the job of totally eliminating Hamas.

          Of course, now I fear that even though it will be Hamas breaking the ceasefire that Israel will be blamed for it.

  3. I learned hostage negotiation. The main thing is the rescue of the hostages, then the safety of the public and police; and lastly, capturing the criminal alive (if possible) I won’t go into detail, but there are ways to be successful in the process, while the criminal is recognized for what he is.

    hamas was given sinwar in an exchange and he planned and conducted Oct 7.

    No terrorists should be released. Israel is not holding “hostages.” Israel is holding terrorists caught by their LE.

    The protocols of hostage negotiations have not been followed in this situation.

    I cannot express just how stupid and wrong is this “deal.”

  5. Returning the Muslim prisoners to the Muslims means that the Israelis won’t have to keep paying their food, housing and other needs.

    • True enough–instead, they can look forward to these Jihadists plotting more Jihad terror attacks. Some of the plotters of 10/7 were Jihadists who had been released by Israel to free kidnap victim Gilad Shalit.

    Of course they are. Hamas remains in power in Gaza, and is even tacitly acknowledged as Gaza’s rightful rulers by Israel. Hamas has already said they won’t release all of the hostages, but Israel will release thousands of Jihad terrorists for them, who can cntinue to wage Jihad terror against Israel.

    Hamas will probably violate this “ceasefire” almost immediately–but it is Israel what will face opprobrium if they fight back.

  7. The only silver lining about this deal is releasing them to a third country, be it a Jordan, Qatar or Egypt. The onus should then be on those countries to see that Hamas activities are curbed, but in the meantime, Israel should be free to continue to expel/wipe out Hamas from Judea, Samaria and Gaza. That’s the only way this deal doesn’t result in a recurrence of October 7th

  8. A condition to the release of the Palestinian prisoner release (which is fraught with the risk they’ll return to Jihad),should have been that the prisoner must wear a GPS tracking device until the last hostage is returned.

    Israel will not break the cease-fire.

    But…

    Hamas will soon break the cease-fire, and Israel’s IDF will then have the “cover” to completely destroy them.

Hamas would celebrate that fraudulent “ceasefire agreement ” For any kind “ceasefire agreement” with Hamas is a hoax because it’s really nothing but a way for Hamas to stall for time to receive additional deadly weapons of destruction sent to that murderous jihad terror entity, Hamas, from Iran , so that the jihadist chiefs of Hamas will also have further time to scheme future jihad attacks into the State of Israel murdering her people.

    We may all be sure that those top dogs of Hamas do have every intention to carry through with their schemed future Islamic terrorist attacks

  15. Accepting ceasefire agreement with Hamas of Gaza is an action of extreme folly and foolishness on the part of the government officials of the State of Israel, for that would result deadly disaster for the Jewish people of Israel.

    The reason why this is so is because a “ceasefire” would only be a disingenuous “agreement” of the part of the vicious and murderous those jihadists to buy time to restore their weapon supply sent to them by Iran , Later ,they would then break the truce and in more jihad murder attacks against the peaceful citizens of Israel.

  16. That so called “ceasefire” that the jihadist chiefs of the murderous jihad entity Hamas would agree for would be a hoax . Meaning nothing but a false and fake truce.

    The reason why this is so is because such a “ceasefire” would really be agreed to in order to allow Hamas to restore its loses by using that for Iran to resupply it with deadly weapons provided to it by Iran.

    Those jihadists would only keep the terms of a ceasefire only as long as it would site them and no longer .Then those Muslim terrorists of Hamas will then break the “truce” and then launch more jihad missile attacks murdering the peaceful civilians of the State of Israel.

    Likewise, the Muslim terrorists of Hamas would also sneak into Israel from Gaza and hand held weapons of death and inflect murderous jihad massacres on the Jewish people of Israel.

  17. The next time Hamas does the same, Israel has a very good argument in wiping out Hamas completely with regards of the Gaza civilians as they support Hamas too.
    And Hamas will certainly do that again.
