It took a lot of planning and calculated mismanagement. It all came together in the end and as the left has been demanding the rich finally paid their fair share. It is a plus when the devious hire planners and calculators that dont know their asses from a hole in the ground.

The left never stops. First they come for the very wealthy, then the wealthy, the sort of wealthy, the not so wealthy, the not at all wealthy, and finally those who dont have a penny.

And that tells us all that nothing will be done to change the left-made circumstances that led to the fires. I will say one thing, the left will not change even after everyone and everything has been burned out. We see the same thing with their calls of “Climate Change!” The left have been blaming everything on climate change (except the stuff they blame on Trump, etc). Any sane person or group that really believed in “Climate Change!” would have cleared the dead brush, filled the reservoirs, made sure there was enough functioning firefighting equipment, guaranteed that people hired to plan for fighting fires had knowledge of what was required to fight fires. But the left did the opposite of all that.
The moral of the story is you can be an honest responsible caring and compassionate person but if your neighbors are leftists you will eventually have to run like hell.

I know. I was Jr. Firefighter in the Explorer program which is an affiliate of the Boy Scouts (I was a member) back in the mid 70s in Orange County (the county just south of LA County). The weather hasn’t changed. Sea levels today are still where they were back then. Santa Ana winds blew just like they do today. What changed? The Management.
Back in the day in my travels I would come across areas that it was obvious there had been a fire there. Burned areas but never large. It is not much different today than back then except that the population of Orange County has doubled since 1970. There was a lot more area to burn back in the 70s than there is today. I would have to believe it is the same with LA County so what has changed? Management. Yes I know it is stretch to call what they are doing in California today, management.
The California left can say what they want, they can pretend to their hearts desire, but I know better because I lived it.
