A violent attack took place in an Intermarché store in Apt (Vaucluse), this Saturday, January 25, shortly after 6 p.m., Valeurs actuelles learned from a police source. A man armed with a kitchen knife entered the establishment shouting “Allah Akbar”. He immediately went to a customer at a checkout and attacked him, stabbing him in the ear, followed by several punches. Fortunately, the attacker’s knife broke and the assailant was quickly neutralized by the security guard present at the scene.
The attacker, identified by the police as Mehdi B., a 32-year-old man born on July 12, 1992 in Apt, is well known to the police.
