The young Arab men who sexually assaulted women on New Year’s Eve in front of Milan Cathedral want to promote Muslim supremacy, Dounia Ettaib, president of the Association of Arab Women in Italy, told the daily Libero on Sunday.
Her comments come in the wake of this past New Year’s celebrations in Milan, which saw eight women, according to the prosecutor’s office, attacked; with three filing official complaints so far.
Three Belgian, one English, one South American and three Italian women were surrounded by men identified as North African. Dozens of attackers isolated the women, restrained them, and molested them. One of the Belgian girls even took to social media to speak out about the assault.
Ettaib, who is of Moroccan origin, explained to the paper that Muslims “feel superior because they are Muslims, so they target women of other religions. And it is no coincidence that such violence occurs on New Year’s Eve, as if to say, ‘You celebrated, but we prove that we are stronger.’”
Ettaib was previously a member of the Italian parliament’s committee responsible for dialogue with Islam, and last year she participated in the development of the migration and security law package of the government led by Giorgia Meloni, according to Magyar Nemzet.
“It’s more than just gang violence. In the case of gang violence, the surrounding of victims reflects the perpetrators’ belonging to the same community, which is none other than the Muslim community,” she said.
Proper education and legislation, including the expulsion of violent immigrants from Italy after serving prison sentences, are required, Ettaib further said. She also pointed out that minors and young people who arrive in the country unaccompanied by an adult are released from the state institutions caring for them after turning 18 and continue to reside in Italian cities “completely free.”
“If they are not studying or working, they should be immediately returned to their countries of origin,” she said….

Seems a little odd that she says it’s not islam but she uses islamic teaching to address its violence against women. She also claims muslims in Morocco are less violent toward their wives than in Italy (where her own mother fled with her to escape her father) but doesn’t consider that authorities in Italy take reports from women due to their non-sharia legal system, therefore the report rate of violence against women will be much higher. Islam certainly clouds the mind.
That was 2007, so it appears she’s grown into more truth. Good for her.

Amazing that Dounia Ettaib would admit this–but this is absolutely the case.
And not only is this appalling, think about how bizarre it is. I’ve known a few religious supremacists over the years–Christian, Jewish, and one Hindu. All of them, while different in other ways, considered their faith to be *morally* superior to those of others. Not something I’m fond of, but *none* of these people ever would have considered sexually abusing women of other faiths as a result.
But abuse and rape of unbelievers is *exactly* what Islam teaches–and we see this al over the world, from the kidnappungs of Boko Haram, the “Grooming Gangs” in Britain, and foreign women being groped and assaulted all over the Islamic world.

Yes, gi, it continues to be the case that the baked-ins of islam are ignored as the behavior’s source. The contradictions in islam are apparent to the rational. Even others who believe themselves superior in some way related to their beliefs don’t translate, with sanction, that perceived superiority into intentionally humiliating, breaking sexual violence. In islam, the superior state they believe themselves to be in requires constant, egregious feeding, so it clearly isn’t a state of being. Unfortunately, that rational reality doesn’t reach their conscious thinking.

I was SA’d in 2012 by a first generation Iranian immigrant in Texas. That is when I learned about Mohammed and his 6yr old wife Aisha-after searching online about what muslim men believe. I was told by my father after the assault that it was because he was Iranian and middle eastern men did not value women and abused them. Fast forward to today-I live in NYC and met a Jordanian man who was very attractive. I tried to convert him to Christianity and this of course did not work…however within the relationship he was coercive to the point of me not giving consent but it did not matter. In fact what he did to me was punishable by law. I left him, and he also antagonized me with mannerisms that sought to intimidate me physically I.e being aggressive…He also made harmful statements to me such as that I was “easy” despite me being celibate since the assault in 2012, this was a one time event. And it was awful. That was 12 years i had avoided men and was diagnosed with severe PTSD. I am not certain what attracts me to middle eastern men. But after listing to Jihad watch, Spencer, David Wood, AP, and Christian Prince. I learned a lot. And apparently me being a chubby blonde girl is exactly what they want; a prize they can show off, a conquest. They are much like possessions or slaves. I am thankful I did not continue the relationship. The Iranian man and his brother were both accused of molesting and raping multiple women in the small town in Texas where it happened. I will NEVER date another muslim man again. And No more giving the benefit of the doubt to so called moderate muslims who are so dishonest they don’t even acknowledge the black and white texts, use unfair contexts and warp Christianity and Jewish Biblical themes and verse and doctrine. Anyhow Western men do not gang rape women in mob crowds…that only happens in India, Pakistan and middle eastern countries where they target Christian and Hindu women…or import it into Europe…I’m exhausted of the excuse that there are white men that do the same…the numbers speak for themselves; and the same issue is in the UK-In the middle east European and American campers, often women and some men have been kidnapped raped and beheaded…Western world is so ignorant and afraid of being racist…Despite what Ive been through, one of my therapists even got irate when I tried to talk to him about this muslim man and what I was going through at the time and what they actually believe…he is no longer my therapist-and people are so ignorant and fearful

Frances, I hope you meet a decent man–they *do* exist. I am happily married–my husband and I have been together for 36 years now.
There are exceptions, but generally avoiding Muslims is a good idea–especially with your background of having been abused and sexually assaulted. As you now know, Islam *teaches* abuse of women and girls.
I also have this in my background–including sexual abuse as a child. Being with a caring and decent partner has helped a great deal in my healing from this. *Good luck*.
