Joe Biden’s farewell address was one of the least notable events of the year. It’s doubtful that anyone outside the media even sat through the whole thing. Not necessarily because it was badly written. The image of the Statue of Liberty was even poetic. But the speech was delivered by a shambling wreck of man pushing blatant self-serving lies like a 50-year-low crime rate and an economic recovery that no one believes.

Not one single human being believes this stuff.

So Biden had to swerve into warning about “an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead.”

An oligarchy isn’t taking shape. It’s been here for a while. Where does Biden think he and Kamala got $2 billion to blow on their presidential campaigns? Biden has been to more dinners with billionaires than dinners with middle-class Americans.

Then Biden decided to warn Americans about the threat of… a lack of social media censorship.

“Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation enabling the abuse of power. The free press is crumbling. Editors are disappearing. Social media is giving up on fact-checking. The truth is smothered by lies told for power and for profit. We must hold the social platforms accountable to protect our children, our families and our very democracy from the abuse of power.”

The Free Press seems to be doing pretty well on Substack. But Biden really means the corporate press serving as his echo chamber. And the only way to protect the free press is by taking away free speech.

And imposing political censorship across social media.

Instead though the Berlin Walls of online censorship are falling and light is shining through the cracks. The Statue of Liberty can hold her torch high because free speech is coming back to America.

  1. Just as he has been saying mis and dis and mal to cover his lies, gavin newsom did the same thing with trying to hide his blame for the wildfires.
    the so-called governor, said all of the reservoirs were full and it was misinformation was the problem…that so much misinformation was spread, that was to blame for the fires. when the reporter pointed out that the reservoir nearby was empty….it was actually drained for repairs….he said he was ‘investigating’ that.

    biden forced people to take a dangerous jab in order to keep their jobs; and closed businesses and churches and claimed that anyone who disagreed, was spreading disinformation…a.k.a. lying. when he and his evil crew knew all along that they were the liars and the jabs weren’t going to stop a disease designed in china.

    So many lies in the last four years, and still, he’s not satisfied that he told enough lies and did enough damage to people’s lives. He’s using the few remaining days and hours to spew more so people will begin worrying and he can go home to his easy chair, knowing he has caused so much distress for others.

    P.S. The last line of the article waxes poetic, but deletion of “to America” would make it better without changing the message.

  5. Actually , that liar Joe Biden likes censorship if it happen to be the kind of censorship that stops the information that exposes what terrible harm his has done during his term in Office . For Biden’s “achievement ” were always for evil and never for the good.

    For example, one of Joe Biden’s foreign policy “achievements” was his striving to have all sanctions removed that President Trump put on that anti-America, anti –Israel hostile Islamic regime of Iran. Resulting in that Islamic receiving literally billions of dollars . Much of that money “unofficially went into Iran supplying many deadly weapons to both Hamas and Hezbollah. Therefore Biden had an insidious part in encouraging Hamas to launch those brutal cruel murderous jihad attacks the unarmed peaceful citizens of Israel on October 7th 2023. Accordingly, Biden had an insider his hand in the those Hamas horrendous Islamic atrocities of 10/7/23/ That was one of Biden demonic ‘achievement”

    Creepy old Joe has the blood of many innocent people on his wicked hands.

    Biden, likewise with his foreign policy of appeasement two of granting those vicious despots of Iran everything they demand.

  6. Ain’t that actually good for his side? Does he actually believe that Left-leaning censorship will continue in an environment where Trump not only won an electoral majority, but the popular vote as well?

    This is the worst transition I have witnessed. Past transitions, except to an extent Obama’s, respected the popular mandate and didn’t start new initiatives during that window. But this administration’s bureaucrats have smuggled in things from ERA ratification to rules allowing federal employees to work remotely fulltime for 5 years. We actually have to wait until Monday for real change to begin

    Makes a great case in 2028 for Trump immediately turning over the administration to the new POTUS. Give him or her a week to put together the core team, take over, and then add new personnel while they vet

  8. The impression I have of the hopeless, hapless, demented Biden is that he thinks he has been a terrific president, that he has done a great job. He seems so deluded. I guess such a level of delusional thinking will probably always keep him happy since he seems so blind to how hopeless and useless he has been not just as president but throughout his career. Good riddance Biden.

  9. Biden doesn’t say anything that wasn’t written for him. Does anyone think he could rub two brain cells together all alone without help? Dig deeper. Biden is no more than a cardboard cutout in front of a beer display. It is the ones in the shadows we must concern ourselves with. The nuts on the left had four years to force every crazy leftist idea on the rest of us. They thought they could turn it around with the first four years of Biden and then on to the next four. Can you imagine? The left put every effort they had in to it. Well they sure did turn it around but not in the way they intended. Not in the way they intended unless that is what they intended and they thought Americans would be on board with it. Whatever, it is all unexplainable. Perhaps we should cal the last four years, The Unexplainable Years.

    It is only about forty hours until DJT is our President again. It cant come quickly enough.

    I like how democrats believe that Americans cannot determine the difference between misinformation disinformation and the truth. Do they think we Americans were born yesterday? Since birth we have absorbed information and then (mostly on our own) set about determining if it was reliable information or misinformation. Democrats want to be everybody’s mommy and daddy but most Americans dont want that. Can you imagine having democrats as your mother and father? I’m not speaking about good mothers or fathers I’m talking about reprehensible mothers or fathers.

    • The biggest misinformation disinformation was the lie by the MSM that Biden was sharp as a tack, and the whole Biden administration saying this senile old man could out work them ,out think them ,out perform them. It seems these progressive simple hate average citizens ,think they we are stupid .,They used this walking ghost of a man as a instrument to push their agenda. I challenge anyone to say the world is a safer saner place then it was 4 years ago. The blue cities have seen an giant raise of crime because of progressive policies. The millions of illegal put strain on ever disappearing resources for law abiding citizens .We have conflicts brewing in every corner of the globe ..I am a firm believer the Russia would not have invaded the Ukraine in 2022 if Trump was in office for a second term .I think the terror attack by Hamas on Oct 7 2023 would never have happen .We would not have between 8 million to 12 million people cross our borders between the years 2021-2024 .We would not be so depend on other countries for our energy ,fuel and inflation would have been much smaller in that time period. .If the progressive democrats think they are our parents they real hate their children us that and world be glad to drown us in the bath tub and replace us with illegal aliens.

But fortunately actions speaks louder than words, and now the dreadful actions of the Dems have been on display for the last 5 years for all to see. Everyone can now see how evil their lies have been. Even their mindless followers are starting to see what a car crash they are. The LA fires being the latest example of their abysmal woke policies!

    Twisted stuff. And the idea that people have more exposure to the truth under censorship is clearly *not* the case. Those living under the worst cencorship have very little access to the truth, and falsehoods are more enforced the greater the level of censorship.

    • When a government is overthrown in a coup, those taking control go first for the communications…radio, tv, news sources and only allow what they want said to be said to the public.
      That’s kind of what biden and his gang did four years ago.

  16. It’s amazing the amount of leftists calling for the end of free speech without realising it. Here in Australia on the leftist SMH site, it is full of letters from people who say only the governments & MSM opinion should be allowed. Whenever Musk exposes something, or when Alex Jones says the LA fires were planned by the globalists, they say social media should be censored & these opinions should not be allowed.

    • And when the winds change, the same people will scream about not being able to say what they wish. They never see things as applying to them, except for doing what they wish…then, they have the freedom of choice.
