UK: Starmer refuses to rule out blasphemy law to criminalize desecration of Qur’an

It’s hard to see how shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain could possibly avoid full capitulation to Sharia and total Islamization. It doesn’t look as if its duly elected authorities even want to do so.

Labour MP Tahir Ali urged Sir Keir Starmer to introduce measures which critics believe will restrict free speech at Prime Minister’s Questions earlier today

Sir Keir Starmer has refused to rule out introducing blasphemy laws after a Labour MP demanded the Prime Minister prohibits the “desecration of religious texts”, including the Koran.

During Prime Minister’s Questions, Starmer was quizzed on his position on so-called blasphemy laws as the UK continues to mark Islamophobia Awareness Month.

Ali, who represents Britain’s second-most Muslim constituency with over half of his residents following Islam, said: “November marks Islamophobia Awareness Month – last year, the UN Human Rights Council adopted a resolution condemning the desecration of religious texts, including the Koran.

“Despite opposition from the previous Government, acts of such mindless desecration only serve to fuel division and hatred within our society.

“Will the Prime Minister commit to introducing measures to prohibit the desecration of all religious texts and the prophets of the Abrahamic religions?”

In response, Starmer refused to rule out introducing measures, with campaigners fearing any change to the law would lead risk a clampdown on free speech.

The Prime Minister said: “Desecration is awful, and I think it should be condemned across the House.

“We are committed to tackling all forms of hatred and division including Islamophobia in all its forms.”

However, No10 sources have since told GB News that the Government is not considering a blasphemy law….

  1. If it goes through, molzums will continue to say what they wish to about Christians, Jews and the Bible, but will not be punished; while anyone telling the Truth about islam, will face prison time and heavy fines.

    And if mozlums have their way, those telling the Truth about them will face the death penalty as they do in countries like pakistan. The UK is on a path to be the next stan where mozlums rule.

    • You are correct, somehistory. A double standard will exist, to wit, denigration of the worst major religion of all time will not be tolerated but denigration of an enlightened religion like Christianity will be no big deal.

      Again, Islam (and silly non-Muslims) reveal what a burden Islam is to all of mankind (and especially to the West). And may I wish you and family a very Merry Christmas, a religious feast that is filled with wonder, atmosphere and goodwill like nothing Islam has ever been able to produce or will ever produce.

It may well get to the point that if someone (especially a non-Muslim “kuffar”) states their view that things such as FGM, pedophilia, forced marriages, child marriages, pederasty (sex with young boys), human slavery (such as keeping Black slaves, or “kuffar” slaves of any kind), or even rape of “kuffar” women and girls (and young boys and men too), are reprehensible practices, then that person could be charged with blasphemy and sentenced to death in a UK court, because many Muslims believe that those things are acceptable and even commendable.

      It is sad that Islam is taking over UK, but rightly so when all the big and old churches have given up the pulpit and let Christianity fall. It is the vacuum scenario, out with LIGHT, and in comes the darkness, Islam and it’s Satanic powers.
      Keep your eyes on Israel and see the future of the world come to past. All this has to happen and piece by piece the puzzle is falling into place.
      If you know Christ as Lord and Savior your safe, but if not, now is the time to get to know Him, because in your case it is unfolding right before your eyes.

          He said that the “days would be cut short, or no flesh would be saved.”
          He said that “This generation will by no means pass away before all of these things occur.”
          As Paul said, we must not “put off the day of the Lord.” so, I try to live every day as if it is the final one for this evil system. It will come “when we least expect it.”

  2. If you can’t desecrate a religious text without penalty, then real freedom doesn’t exist.

    Let me provide another example not related to religion but to patriotism of one’s nation. Here it is: Though I am a proud American and think America the greatest polity that has ever existed in mankind’s history (with due consideration for other great polities like ancient Athens and England), I nonetheless support the right of a total rube to burn the American flag.

    Now, I would consider such a person a complete fool, an utter waste of life and space, and such a person would NEVER be invited into my home, but freedom, I contend, DEMANDS utter ignorance and hate on display to be tolerated as long as it is not done violently. This was exactly what Thomas Jefferson stated in his first Inaugural Address, March 4th, 1801, and it was true then and remains true to this day because real truths are timeless.

  5. As I have posted often before, here in the UK, so called blasphemy laws are ALREADY alive & active in many towns & cities today.
    Just a wrong word by a teacher, or even a young child accidently damaging a copy of that guide book of all war & death, the qur’an, is enough to see satanic sharia mobs descend upon the poor unfortunate offender against allah & if the dirty unbeliever doesn’t repent & literally beg for forgiveness & their lives, violence and jihadi justice is certain to follow.
    Try drawing a picture of you know who & see what happens. that should be evidence enough already that Britain in is mortal danger.

    In many of the ever increasing foreign enclaves, no go areas & conquered areas in those GB towns & cities, a women who isn’t covered by a full black trash bag will be spat at, abused verbally, or often much worse.
    Pubs & clubs where alcohol is served, helped by the deliberate islam friendly government pressures, are being closed down &/or vandalized/discouraged also. I wonder why?
    Sharia patrols are found on the streets, looking to enforce & punish, in place of the law of the crown.

    Mood / Sentiment in the country is negative.

    After the budget the business community’s optimism has been shattered – jobs and growth will be elusive.
