Will there now be an ethnic cleansing of Christians in Syria as there was in Iraq during the reign of the Islamic State? It is a distinct possibility.
“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)
“SYRIA: Greek Orthodox Christians beheaded, shot in the Valley of the Christians,” by Paul Antonopoulos, Greek City Times, December 16, 2024:
Two Greek Orthodox Christians in Wadi al-Nasara (Valley of the Christians) were murdered in their home during a reported “burglary.”
Samaan Satme and Helena Khashouf from the village al-Jamasliyye in Syria’s Homs province were brutally murdered in their home.
Although the murder was initially reported as a burglary gone wrong, it later emerged that Samaan was beheaded and Helena shot, indicating that there were other motives.
Murdered on December 13, their funeral procession began the next day in the Church of Saint Simeon Stylites, Haba.
According to local reports, “random murders” in Homs and the coast continue, often fitting the pattern of assailants entering a house to murder the victims.
At the same time, a video is circulating on social media of a Lebanese Christian woman in Syria saying her brother living in Latakia with her mother was attacked by neighbours upon rebels’ arrival, telling him: “You’re Christians, leave the house, we don’t want you here!”
Turkish-backed jihadist forces launched an offensive in northern Syria on November 27, and by the end of the month had captured Aleppo, Syria’s largest city and commercial capital. As the rebels moved south, capturing Hama and Homs, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was in Moscow and not Damascus, which was ultimately captured on December 8….

100% that Christians will be murdered by Muslims as taught in Islam’s Quran. Allah in Quran 9:111 says, “Surely Allah has purchased from the believers[Muslims] their souls and their money so that they may have the garden[Heavenly Paradise]. They engage in war for the sake of Allah, so they k i l l and are k i l led…” Allah in Quran 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], do not take the J * w s and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another. And whoever among you takes them as friends, so surely he is of them. Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

Assyria is an ancient empire. They have been mostly exterminated thru history. What’s left of Assyrians is a small persecuted christian group.
Syria is not Assyria. Syria is a make believe state created by Sykes/picot by Britain and France. Syria should no longer exist hopefully. The Kurds should be a nation again in the east of the former Syria. Kurds are ethnically Persian kinfolk.
The Druse though they speak Arabic and their religion is an offshoot of Islam are DNA ethnically Jews. They deserve their own nation of the former south Syria.
The rest of Syria can be a sunni Moslem state, hopefully not a bad one. The coast could be an alawite nation. The former Syria christians Is a hard solution. Best would be to move to Lebanon and the moslems move out. What’s left of Maronite christians should move to Israel or Kurdistan for a better fate. The Greek orthodox might best go to Kurdistan also.syrian Catholics is a problem as they are not a good mix with Lebanese christians as Syrian Catholics are polluted with Vatican and Assad education and influence, but they need protected somewhere.
My point is 3 fake nations, a Syria, a Jordan, a Iraq do not need to stay as what the British & french created.

The Kurds are just as bad as the Jihadists and the Turkish supremacists. They have the same ethnonationalist ambitions as the Turks; and the way they abuse Assyrians and Yazidis in Beth Nahrain shows that they are untrustworthy. Besides, the land that conveniently became part of “Kurdistan”, were once majority Armenian and Assyrian lands, until the Hamidian massacres, the Adana Massacre, the Diyarbakir Massacre, the Armenian Genocide and the Assyrian Genocide(the Kurds were complicit in these) that wiped the indigenous Armenians and Assyrians off the land.

Sadly that’s all true about the Kurds past history.
Today though, the Kurds in north Iraq are better Kurds than turkey or Syria Kurds.

Syria is actually synonymous w/ the Levant. It’s the area north of the Arabian peninsula, west of the Euphrates, south of Anatolia and east of the Mediterranean and the Suez canal. At least that’s how it is in Arabic, where the term “as-Sham” is synonymous w/ both Syria and the Levant, and the entire empire typically had Damascus as the capital, not Amman, Beirut, much less Jerusalem
Iraq is the Arab area west of Iran and east of the Euphrates, although one could exclude Assyria and Kurdistan from the definition if one likes. One thing about Kurdistan, though – Kurds, whatever their other differences w/ Arabs or Turks, are still loyal to islam, so they’re not fully trustworthy. Creation of an independent Kurdistan could turn out to be as fateful as the creation of Bangladesh in 1971

Jesus Christ prophesied this, warned of this before ever there was a mozlum.
From His very first disciples and His Apostles, Christians have been murdered by Christ’s enemies at the instigation and inspiration of satan the devil. Knowing why doesn’t make the pain and grief go away.
This happening was easily predictable. , Assad may be a goon and a ghoul; but he afforded some protection to Christians.
The mozlums in Syria are no different than in nigeria, gaza, lebanon, iran, pakistan, afghanistan, turkey….they lust to steal, rape and murder.
They have been doing so since the beginning of islam and they will continue until they are brought to an end along with their ”father, the devil.”

Yes they are no different and they are one ummah (nation). Wherever you go islam’s attitudes against non-Muslims will never change. This is why all of the Muslim countries are tyrannical. None of them is safe for us the Infidels.

The pagan pope must be removed from his position forcibly. He doesn’t deserve to be called as the leader of Christians. Hopefully there will be a “coup” against him any time soon.

I doubt that Protestants or Orthodox or other non-Catholic denominations recognize the pope as their leader, to begin w/. The burden of his leadership falls mainly on Catholics

You are correct. When I was a child and my parents took me to church, I never even heard there was a ‘pope.’ Not until I was an adult did I learn there was such a person and the Bible does not provide Scripture for any such man.
non-Catholics do not look to the pope for leadership, direction or shepherding.

You are correct, somehistory.
I was brought up Catholic but now identify as simply “Christian” and
I attend Christian gospel-centered services on a regular basis.
That being said, I still occasionally attend a “non-woke” Catholic mass – performed by a priest whom I admire (e,g,, he feels the same way about Pope Francis that I do, etc.,)…

Thank you, James, for your reply and personal experience.

Lord, receive these murdered Christians. Please wreak justice on the Islamist demons who murdered them.
Please protect the other Christians and persecuted minorities such as Druze and Kurds. Amen.
BTW, good idea above, Stive. Undo the colonia mess caused by the British and French governments of that time.
