Shazia Younis admitted to the desecration, but there is every reason to believe that her confession was coerced. Only someone who was actively suicidal would do this deliberately in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s blasphemy laws have been used to victimize innocent people on numerous occasions.
“Blasphemy Case Filed Against Christian Woman in Gojra Raises Concerns,” by Sohail Yousaf, Pak Christian News, December 24, 2024:
Gojra, December 21, 2024: A Christian woman, Shazia Younis, a resident of Bismillah Colony, has been accused of desecrating an Islamic textbook, leading to charges being filed against her under Section 295-B of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws. The First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at Saddar Police Station in Gojra, with the case drawing significant attention from the local community and beyond.
According to the FIR, the incident allegedly occurred on December 21, 2024, at approximately 1:00 PM. The complainant, Atta Ul-Mustafa, an imam of the local mosque, stated in his complaint that while he was present at Hamam Chowk, two individuals, Muhammad Imran and Rabnawaz, approached him to report that Shazia Younis had burned some books outside her house. It was alleged that amongst the burned materials, there were Islamic texts containing Quranic verses.
The FIR further states that Shazia Younis admitted to the act, which the complainant argued was a deliberate attempt to desecrate Quranic verses, thereby offending the religious sentiments of the Muslim community. The complainant demanded her immediate arrest and punishment under the blasphemy laws.
Acting swiftly, law enforcement registered the case under Section 295-B of the Pakistan Penal Code, which pertains to the desecration of the Quran. The police have launched an investigation into the matter, with additional charges under other provisions potentially being considered depending on the outcome of the inquiry….

She would have to be mentally ill, all the way to insanity, to do such a thing and then admit to doing it.
Some mozlum ghoul wanted something from her which she was unwilling to give up.
May God do His Will toward her persecutors as He sees right to do, and may He help all those who look to Him for guidance, strength, and life.

He probably wanted to have sex with her or even to rape her, and when she resisted, he then decided to whip up false blasphemy charges against her.
It’s most likely more putrid, pernicious, porkypaki poppycock.
If you’re a Christian, Hindu, Sikh or Buddhist in Pakistan, for heck’s sake, try to get the fig out of that failed state.

I saw a PBS news report on the hatred of Pakistan’s “Blasphemy laws”. The people who want to destroy physically every person who has a blasphemy laws complaint lodged against him or her. They are a fanatic and large group. And they want blood, regardless of what the actual charges are. If a blasphemy was made against the name of the prophet or against anything having to do with Islam, then any sentence makes sense including death.
I say this because such laws and attitudes are outrageous in the 21st Century. We are not living in the 7th Century and that part of the world that is civilized does not hold with Pakistan’s blasphemy laws.
That makes no difference to the hysterical mob which wants blood. And I emphasize this because Pakistan is a nuclear power. It has the capacity to kill millions of people with the push of buttons.
Pakistan’s nukes are mostly aimed at India and India’s nukes are moistly aimed at Pakistan. Millions upon Millions would die . But Pakistan may decide that the “Great Satan” or the “Lesser Satan” should be included in the launch. After all this is the ultimate “Allah Akbar” suicide bomber event so why not take the real evil of the world out beside India. That means the US and Israel and maybe a Euro nation as well.
Think about that.

What is scary is that there doesn’t seem to be a way of stopping and reversing that giant pendulum that keeps relentlessly swinging in the direction of total global domination of Islam. It’s just like there is no viable way to reach the populations that there is something intrinsically wrong with the Doctrine of Islam that forbids and punishes doing everything that belongs to the spiritual enrichment of what it is to be human.

Insanity codified. Poor woman will be another victim no one can help. There once was a period entitled The Age Of Reason but now we have the age of deviltry. How this false religion continues is beyond understanding. There must be a tremendous loss of human life on the horizon similar to the Biblical Flood but most likely in the form of fire because the warped behavior manifesting attracts severe punishment. How to purify such extreme behavior? Among the elements only fire carries the quality to devastate this horrific demonic entity.

muslims appear rather shallow in their faith as they wish to actually kill anybody that disagrees or denigrates their belief system rather than just letting it be as surely nobody can be that important to them that they wish to kill them for disagreeing with their Fascist Religious Cult of Death.
If somebody tells me that what I believe sounds like garbage I ask them if they think I will care what they think about my beliefs as I am inside my head and not you so thanks for stopping by and dont let the door hit you on the way out.
Thats the difference of allowing anybody to hurt me let alone kill me but those of the islamic faith are very shallow and easily hurt.
Such weak people and we can see so many muslim men attacking elder women on the streets just to show off their bravery…

Logically speaking in order to desecrate something – Qur’an verses included – it must be sacred to begin with.
How many of the verses in the Qur’an fit into the category of the sacred? Please be specific and prove that the verses burned belonged to that category!
The feelings of people don’t matter. Take this example: The editorial board which had put together a flawless new telephone catalogue would have strong feelings about it and would react strongly to defend its reputation! But that doesn’t make the telephone catalogue holy by any stretch of the imagination! And the editorial board will not be successful trying to protect its telephone catalogue against ridicule by claiming to be victims of blasphemy!
The Qur’an -in my modest opinion – deserves its day in court to obtain a definite assessment and specification of all verse which rightfully makes the Qur’an holy and at the same time determine to which extent it constitutes blasphemy of Christianity and Judaism.
Lastly the court must determine all the commands and principles of the Qur’an which contravens existing legislation in the pebal code, the codes pertaining to family law, international lconventions on war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The suggested day in court of the Qur’an is long overdue!
