Erdogan, as we have long warned, wants to restore the Ottoman caliphate. Jerusalem was once part of this. Some Arabs, however, particularly those who have now grown accustomed to calling themselves “Palestinians,” may object to this. The Arabs, after all, frequently chafed under the Turkish yoke, as you can see in The History of Jihad.

  1. Oh yeah, haven’t you heard, so are Budapest and Vienna too. Of course a mass of people who can’t produce anything of value throughout generations have to covet completely foreign accomplishments, the more foreign the better of course.

Quran 2:191-3; 4:65, 89, 100; 5:14,82; 8:65; 9:5,14-15,29,111; 33:26; 47:4; 65:4; 98:6-7 and more).

    • Islam is an Antichrist system. Allah in Quran 5:51 says, “O you who have believed[Muslims], do not take the Jews and the Nasara(Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another. And whoever among you takes them as friends, so surely he is of them. Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” Muslims cannot be true friends or allies with anyone who is disobeying or opposing Allah and Islam, even if they are their own family members. Allah in Quran 58:22 says, “You will not find a people who believe in Allah and in the last day who will be friends to who opposes Allah and his messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brethren or their nearest relative. ”

  6. President Erdogan, how about claiming Qashqar, in Xinjiang province, which was a major Turkic city in the Middle Ages – from the Karakhanids to the Uyghurs? Does Beijing really have such a choke-hold on your economy that you’d be on the streets if they forced you to pay up? Even accounting for Ottoman rule, Jerusalem is a lot less Turkic – or islamic – than many parts of Xinjiang. If you weren’t a fraud, you’d be starting your jihad against China rather than against Israel

    It does not say anything was given to ghouls and sons of satan.

    God gave Jerusalem to King David, son of Jesse of the line of Judah, son of Israel. From Jerusalem a Kingship was set up for the Jews. Gentiles could go and live there, but had to abide by the Law given to the Jews in the days of Moses. It didn’t become theirs because they were allowed to live there.

  9. It doesn’t appear that his goals are the advancement of islam as much as the creation of empire. A neighbor is weak and disorganized? Time to take over and keep going. This could really trump the Iran problem. A Syria controlled by Turkey bordering on Israel would alter the entire dynamic in the Middle East.
