There was much more involved than Mangi’s views of Israel. Daniel Greenfield reported in Dec. 2023 that “in 2021, the Center for Security, Race and Rights hosted an event on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that featured Sami al-Arian, a former professor who helped fund the terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It promoted an event, ‘Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS): Globalized Palestinian Resistance to Israel’s Settler Colonialism and Apartheid,’ with Hatem Bazian, the founder of Students for Justice in Palestine, an anti-Israel group that has pushed pro-Hamas rhetoric….Mangi, who left the center’s board in June, downplayed his role with the organization during his confirmation hearing on Wednesday. He said he was unaware of the 9/11 anniversary event with Sami al-Arian and that he ‘unequivocally condemn[s] any terrorism and anybody associated with it.'” But not Bazian or al-Arian by name.
“Blocked Muslim Judicial Nominee Decries Senate ‘Smear Campaign,” by Carl Hulse, New York Times, December 16, 2024:
The first Muslim American to be nominated for a federal appellate court judgeship lashed out at senators and the judicial confirmation process in a letter to President Biden on Monday, saying he had been the victim of a bigoted smear campaign.
Adeel Mangi, a New York lawyer picked for a spot on the Philadelphia-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, wrote the letter after Democratic senators cut a deal that in effect left him and other Biden appeals court nominees with no path to confirmation.
“This unfortunate fact remains: We have a fundamentally broken process for choosing federal judges,” Mr. Mangi wrote. “This is no longer a system for evaluating fitness for judicial office. It is now a channel for the raising of money based on performative McCarthyism before video cameras, and for the dissemination of dark-money-funded attacks that especially target minorities.”
The nomination of the Pakistani-born Mr. Mangi stalled under withering assault from Republicans who grilled him over his position on Israel, whether he supported Hamas and his view of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack by Al Qaeda. But the insurmountable obstacle was the refusal of at least three Democrats to support him, leaving him short of the votes needed for confirmation….

America does not need muslims in our judicial system, it’s bad enough that those animals are in our government! Go away, we don’t need or want you in our country either!

Never ever put a Muslim into government positions. It’s bad enough that judges that are not Muslim assign cases to Sharia Courts that are actually here inside of America because the cases deal with Muslim legal issues.
In a nut shell, Judges are supposed to handle all cases under Constitutional law, sending to Islamic courts undermine our legal system.
A nation cannot survive under 2 legal systems operating inside a nation, The Constitution is the law of the land. At one time Islam was banned from America because it is a theocracy, has its own legal system & threat to our nation.
Blame the democrats for the change in immigration laws.

America does not need Muslims, I’m not a racist I’m not religious prude I’m not even a sexist. But Islam openly declares that they will kill everybody else that makes them an enemy.

I’m happy that the Truth about this slug came out before he was confirmed, so that he wouldn’t be.
“An attorney nominated by President Joe Biden to a lifetime appointment on the federal judiciary donated to at least two Democratic state political candidates who led groups linked to Hamas, the Washington Examiner has found
contributed to the since-failed campaigns of Tahanie Aboushi, who ran in 2021 for Manhattan district attorney, and Zead Ramadan, a 2013 New York City Council hopeful. The donations have not been previously reported and are public in New York state campaign finance records..”
His fellow “mozlums,” of course. They are never just “Americans”….it’s always “mzlum” and then American or pakis, or palis, etc.
As Merle Haggard sang so many years ago, before this “mozlum” creep arrived here from pakistan….where Christians can’t get any form of Justice from the mozlums there.. “If you don’t love it, leave it.”
The slug has no business here. He supports those who support terrorists, and then complains when he doesn’t get to make the Court islam compliant.

The weakness of democracy is that it gives its enemies a platform and power to destroy it. . I have watched a number of confirmation hearings on YouTube and have been shocked by the quality of the judges proposed by the Biden Administration – so many actually hate the idea of democracy while paying lip service to it. Also shocking is that these appointments are for life. However, having said that, at least the hearings are in public and people can see the quality of these people. In the UK it is a closed door process and we have some Muslim judges who exhibit extreme bias against whites and non-Muslims whilst being very lenient with their fellow Muslims.

All tragically true, Jos.

Democracy need not expose the public to danger–but it so often does.
Hoi Polloi says
Agree with both of you. I watched part of his hearing, as well as others’ hearings. The level and type of appointee foisted on us by Biden is appalling. The Obama appointees already installed have been behind much of the lawfare we’ve seen, something Peter Schweizer describes in his book. I’ve also seen the rulings of the sharia operatives in the UK judiciary. Then there are the US Soros DAs. Clearly there’s been an insider takeover and we need to take it apart.

Thank you, HP.
One thing I think about is that a few years ago, teachers and others were being fired, and some people not hired, because when they were younger, they said something, or they wore something, and evidence of these things were found and the “public”..(some) were “shocked.”
You know, like a skimpy bathing suit, or they used some curse word, or had played hooky etc.
But these mozlums say and do all sorts of evil things, and are not criticized for it.
Thankfully, these pols who voted no way for this goon, were wearing white hats.
Hoi Polloi says
Yes, the last thing we will ever need is a two-tier system that is de facto sharia.

Pledging support for known terror groups be they Hamas ,KKK ,or any others should get your applications for appointment to be a judge in any court in the United States canceled .How can a “sitting” President who is too senile to face trial for any wrong doings he did while in office ,appoint anyone to anything at this point. This jihadist creature is “upset” that elected US Senators question his stated ties to openly support terrorist groups when he is up for a life time appointment to be a federal judge ?
Tony says
EVERY Muslim is required by Allah to give money for terrorism against ALL Non-Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…” Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their lives for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”
