Biden-Harris regime releases national strategy to counter ‘Islamophobia’

If this is implemented, as it very well could be, it will have a chilling effect upon any remaining honest discussion of the motivating ideology behind jihad terrorism.

“Biden-Harris Administration Releases First-Ever U.S. National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia and Anti-Arab Hate,” White House, December 12, 2024:

Today, the White House is releasing the first-ever U.S. National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia and Anti-Arab Hate. The Strategy was developed through a whole-of-government collaboration with a broad range of civil society partners to describe and address the bias, discrimination, and threats Muslim and Arab Americans have long faced. Over the past year, this initiative has become even more important as threats against American Muslim and Arab communities have spiked. In October 2023, six-year old Wadee Alfayoumi, an American Muslim boy of Palestinian descent, was viciously killed in his home in Illinois and over the last year there have been other grievous attacks on Muslim and Arab Americans.

The Strategy contains more than 100 Executive Branch Actions and more than 100 Calls to Action to every sector of society to prevent and address such violent attacks and to ensure that Muslim and Arab Americans enjoy the liberties and opportunities that are the bedrock of our country. With this initiative, we are creating a path for progress, in partnership with all levels of government, civil society, and the private sector, both now and over the long term.

In December 2022, when President Biden established an interagency group to increase and better coordinate efforts to counter Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and related forms of bias and discrimination, work began on this Strategy. In 2023, the Biden-Harris Administration released the first-ever National Strategy to Combat Antisemitism and announced the development of the first-ever National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia and Anti-Arab Hate. This latest strategy has four priorities:

Increase awareness of hatred against Muslims and Arabs and broaden recognition of these communities’ heritages. Muslims and Arab Americans have helped build our country since its founding, but they have also routinely experienced hate, discrimination, and bias due to baseless stereotypes, fearmongering, and prejudice. While individuals have sometimes been targeted because they are thought to be Muslim, it is also crucial to recognize that Arabs are routinely targeted simply for being who they are. Through new data collection and innovative educational efforts, the Administration is increasing awareness of these forms of hate as well of the proud heritages of Muslim and Arab Americans.

Improve safety and security for Muslims and Arabs. Everyone deserves to live their lives without fear of violence, harassment, or discrimination. The Strategy addresses the targeting of Muslim and Arab communities, including through unprecedented investments in strengthening the security of nonprofits and increased efforts to ensure easier access to those funds; correction of discriminatory travel restrictions; and new tools to address transnational repression, doxing, swatting, and hoax threats. It also seeks to reduce trust deficits between government and community members such as by sharing successful practices of engaging Muslim and Arab Americans in the reporting of hate crimes. The Strategy recognizes our utmost duty to protect the nation from terrorist threats and attacks while safeguarding everyone’s civil rights and civil liberties.

Tackle discrimination against Muslims and Arabs and appropriately accommodate their religious practices. Muslim and Arab Americans have long faced discrimination in settings such as education, employment, public accommodations, land use, housing, health care, and access to financial services. More agencies are making it clear that discrimination against Muslim and Arab Americans in federally funded activities is illegal, and the Administration has instituted new practices to accommodate religion and produced a wide range of resources and trainings on nondiscrimination and religious freedom.

Continue to build cross-community solidarity and collective action to counter hate. Threats to one community must be treated as threats to all. Increasing cross-community collaboration  continues to be a key part of Administration efforts to protect the safety of all Americans, including through new partnerships that build solidarity among communities of diverse faiths and beliefs.

We urge our state, local, and international counterparts, as well as the nongovernmental sector, to pursue similar initiatives that seek to build greater unity by recognizing our common humanity, affirming our shared values and history, and embracing equal justice, liberty, and security for all.

  2. The Biden administration has an incredible level of hypocrisy. They are all focused on Islamophobia and hatred of Arabs and Muslims. Yet at the same time they do nothing when comes to the much greater problem of Anti-Semitism and hatred of Jewish people. We are seeing a massive increase in Anti-Semitism, especially at Universities. The Biden administration will soon be out of office. It looks like the incoming Donald Trump administration will act against this massive Anti-Semitism and hatred of Jewish people.

    • Today’s Democrat Party is the antisemitic party. It is to the US what the Nazi party was in Germany, the CPSU was in the Soviet Union, and what any islamic party is anywhere

      If the US has to have a 2 party system, let the current GOP, which has a center-left majority at least in the Senate, if not the House, be the leftist party, and let the Libertarian party be the rightist party. There is no reason we need an anti-American party as one of our choices

    And this: “unprecedented investments ” means they are going to give over even more money….”unprecedented” means like no other group has ever gotten or money they could access…than they are being given now. Some of that funding has been reported on here.
    some of that funding even ended up being fraudulently acquired in supposedly feeding hungry children in MN.
    Now, they will get even more millions to use for their warfare.

    And the worst part: ”accommodate their religious practices”
    They already have their barracks and their schools, wear whatever clothing they wish, have their ‘feast’ days and months and special foods provided in schools and prisons, etc “Doctors” are even allowed to cut and mutilate little girls, marry off their young daughters by sending them to pakistan, and they are in just about every office of government. (one even was a pretend president for eight years).

    so what other ‘religious practices’ will Americans be forced to “accommodate” for those people working to subjugate the rest of us?

    Hopefully, this evil can be stopped after Jan. 20. If not, then Christians will still be looking for another *Return.

    • They’re moving for the imprisonment of citizens who criticize them, jailing for hurty words by pedo judges, as in the UK. What possible grounds could any sane government have for forcing me to support or allow the direct, immediate practice on my property of a religion that calls for my slaughter? Or of requiring female citizens to submit to the rule of a law enforcement officer who believes females to be half human and subject to sex slavery?

The Muslim religion that hates everything other than their personal ego is wrong. The attempts to eliminate other religions is the fact check here and that is wrong. No religion should be promoting hate of others’ beliefs. Then promoting murder of all who do not fall under their hate wings of hate.     I hope Trump puts the kibosh to this special treatment for Islam given no other faith. How about starting with first recognizing and countering Islamic anti-semitism?

  12. I am going to double down and suggest that rather than give Islam a pass for it’s intolerance and anti-constitutional sharia law we should go in another direction entirely. Attempts to blame honest concern about this political movement by the ruling class as islamophobia is unacceptable. We should start a movement to pass state propositions across the nation declaring that Islam is as much a political supremacist totalitarian movement as it is a religion and deserves no constitutional protections afforded to religions. The constitution does not protect religious political movements with a long history of destroying host nations equal protection.

    • Just quote suras 47: 4 and 2:191, explain that this is directed towards everybody who is not mohamedan, that it is mandatory to read the kor’an literally and say: ‘q.e.d.’ and ‘I rest my case’. In short: the whole kor’an incites to genocide (plus child rape, antisemitism and what have you not).

    The Quran is basically satanic error written down by some Arab spiritist.
    If a Muslim says “I am a Muslim” then the person is following the Quran and its doctrines and worldview.
    What happens if he gets a religious awakening? – its not like he starts following the Ten commandments given to Moses or the Torah as best he can. He starts following the satanic doctrines inherent in the Quran to kill this and kill that, to lie/Taqiya, embezzele/protection money racket/Jizya, to do all kinds of wickedness against his wife, siblings, converts out of Islam, and on and on it goes. When he goes to the Mosque he listens to the awakened preachers there to hear more of it – to kill, steal, destroy, curse this and that and get rewarded

    If a Judeo/Christian person gets an awakening they maximize doing good to others, act with humility, follow the Ten Commandments and the Tohrah as closely as possible, tith. Or for the Christian – start evolving to be as Christlike as possible, do good, don’t practice Taqiya, be humble, repent of sin, etc. When the believer goes to the Synagogue or Church I doubt the preacher would be preaching and filling the congregation with encouragement to kill, steal, destroy, curse this and curse that. Most likely to fill the congregation with Wisdom and Truth and encourage them that we are living in Messianic times.

    Even in Buddhism if a Buddhist were to behave like the Quran teaches Buddha would make them reincarnate into a cockroach or a maggot. I doubt that when the Monk goes to the Temple he gets the encouragement to kill, steal, destroy, curse this and that. Its more like engaging in self-discipline, humility, meditating, the simple uncluttered life-style and so on.

    Muslims should be able to see that they are worshipping the Devil. By your fruits you will know what the tree is. Accommodating Islam is being part of devil worship and a security problem for non-muslim societies and countries that imported it. Believers in the doctrines of Islam stand on and follow another script.

    The Muslim Mayor of Dearborn has announced he will hold President Trump to his five promises one being Islamophobia.

    The elephant in the room is Sharia and this Biden/Harris/Obama tactic leads directly to the House of Islam.

    • If I were in the United States, I’d be afraid, or at least concerned, about ruthless, violent Hispanic gangs such as MS-13, or the new Venezuelan gang they’re talking about.

      I’d also be wary of the traditional Sicilian Mafia, or the Russian Mafia, who are known to be quite ruthless.

      • There are gangs of homeless people, and individual homeless. Many are criminals, maybe because they don’t have the means to buy stuff, they steal.

    • Glen: very well said! Muslims could renounce (and strongly denounce) imams who preach bigotry, hatred and violent jihad towards Jews, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, atheists and other non-Muslims. That would be a great start!
