If these t-shirts had glorified any terrorists or criminals who didn’t target Jews, do you think Walmart would have stocked them in the first place? What do you think?

US retail giant Walmart has apparently removed at least four shirts it offered for sale online that featured pictures of slain terror chiefs Yahya Sinwar and Hassan Nasrallah, after the garments were slammed as “outrageous” by an antisemitism watchdog.
One of the shirts showed former Hamas leader Sinwar’s face and his name broken into “Sin” and “war,” while another featured a doctored caricature of the terror mastermind firing a weapon while in combat gear.
Killed by Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip in October, Sinwar led the Palestinian terror group in Gaza from 2017 until his death. He masterminded the October 7, 2023, invasion and massacre in southern Israel, in which thousands of Hamas-led terrorists killed some 1,200 people and kidnapped 251, sparking the ongoing war in Gaza.
The shirts were flagged by US-based watchdog Stop Antisemitism, which wrote in a post on X early Tuesday that “Walmart shoppers were horrified to find shirts glorifying Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar while online shopping.”
“Walmart, are you aware you’re selling apparel celebrating terrorism and violence against Jews?” the post continued, calling for the items to be removed immediately.
A third Sinwar shirt which featured a graphic of Sinwar above the word “RESIST” in the style of former US president Barack Obama’s “HOPE” campaign, also appeared to have been taken down between Tuesday and Wednesday, though the image still appears in online searches.
A shirt featuring a low-resolution picture of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, who was assassinated by Israel in a Beirut airstrike, had also been removed by Wednesday morning….

Maybe Walmart would be interested in tee shirts with a picture of some of the concentration Death camps of WW II. Or maybe an Oct. 7th “commemorative’ tee shirt. Who the hell is doing the purchasing for Walmart, a relative of famous terrorists? I’m sure Walmart won’t lose on the purchase of these monstrous tees and could unload those tee shirts in the “nation of Palestine” where Sinwar is a hero even greater than Hitler.

With the little flag and the USA up in the corner, it’s seems as if walmart and the designer of the shirts wants the world to believe that all Americans glorify the evils of these mozlulm ghouls who lived to murder innocent people and to promote the devil’s religion.

Yeah, if one wants such shirts, why don’t they take a thumb drive to a mall nearby where there are sometimes vendors who’re happy to print t-shirts w/ one’s favored artwork. Take an image of an ISIS guy beheading someone, ask the printer to print it, pay him and then take it to your next campus protest
Walmart was incredibly stupid stocking up on these in the first place. Leave that one to Amazon

Some buyer in marketing thought this might appeal to the Muslim population, huge fail when Americans started to protest. Everything should always be PRO AMERICAN when sold inside the USA, we should not be selling anything that does not support our nation like the merchandise that supports foreign nations.
No matter what nation you come from if your a naturalized citizen your now considered AMERICAN so leave your foreign nation flag in that nation, do not fly it in America. Respect your new country!

Troybeam: I agree with you in principle, but let’s say that you run a restaurant that specializes in some ethnic cuisine.
Then, I think it’s all right for someone to fly a foreign flag, as long as they don’t fly it above the U.S. flag (if they also have the U.S. flag there).
A long time ago, there was a case in California, in which a Mexican restaurant flew a Mexican flag above the U.S. flag. An army vet got ticked off and removed the U.S. flag from where it was hanging from.
Under freedom of speech laws, the restaurant owner was legally allowed to display the two flags like that, but it was against traditional etiquette in regards to flag display in the United States.
I think the same etiquette would even apply to individual state flags, or to the flags of Puerto Rico, Guam or Saipan (that is, one shouldn’t fly them above the national U.S. flag).

Mike–with all respect–glorifying terrorism is much different than precidence of displaying flags–something the restaurant owner may not have even been aware of. Sounds as though they were showing patriotism for both the US and their Mexican heritage.
Lauding violent Jihad is a much different thing.
