The whole idea of veiling women has to do with removing the source of temptation for men. If men remain tempted and rape a woman, it is her fault for allowing them to be tempted. The responsibility is entirely upon her. Hence prison is a just punishment. The Taliban claim they’re imprisoning women to protect them, but this strains credulity; rape victims have been imprisoned in Pakistan as well.

Local sources from Kapisa province reported that the Taliban members arrested a 35-year-old woman, Niloufar, who is a gangrape victim, and imprisoned her.
According to sources, the woman has been in Taliban custody for the past eight days in the centre of Kapisa province.
Sources from Kapisa province told Afghanistan International that a group of men gang-raped Niloufar at her home in the village of Aruki in Kapisa province on Friday, November 22.
Sources claimed that the five perpetrators of the gangrape are members of Niloufar’s husband’s family. According to them, one of the perpetrators has been identified as “Mayel Agha” and is a member of the Taliban in Kapisa.
Local sources said that after Niloufar was sexually assaulted in her home, she started making noise, and locals heard her voice and informed the Taliban. The Taliban were able to arrest one person on charges of involvement in the rape, and four others fled the scene….
Earlier, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) in a report in December quoted some Taliban officials as saying they were imprisoning “women without a mahram” who were victims of violence.
UNAMA has said that the imprisonment of women “in order to protect them” deprives these victims of their freedom.

Muslims claim to respect the Bible–but also claim that it hs been “corrupted” by Jews and Christians. So what they really mean is that they respect the fictional Bible that supposedly existed at one time as was just as savage as the Qur’an.

Quran doesn’t say anything about rape, pnly talk about legal or not legal, for example, there is no rape if a man forces his wife or slave by violence to have sex with her because it is legal . So one carn argue that the rape does not exist, it is an illicit sexual relationship. Therefore the rape victim is arrested for the ilicit sexual relationship.
Of course muslims do not admit this, but arresting the victim and protecting the rapist is in line with Islam in addition of the fact that Islam is a religion for men.

And especially with the fact that one woman’s word isn’t enough, it takes more than one witness and if the witnesses are women, you’d need four of them, no wonder there is “no rape” in Iran. Women are always in the wrong, so there can’t be any rape!
It would be so sweet to see some justice in these GROTESQUE situations.

This *poor woman*. This is not uncommon–if a woman cannot prove that her being rape was not consensual, she can be charged with “Zina”–unlawful sexual intercourse, Her being raped makes no difference.

The premise of polygamy is based on hooved animals. They travel in herds and the strongest male gets all the sex. The difference Islam ignores is that these female animals cannot be raped. Their pheromones signal the male that she is receptive, in estrus, which is often less than one time a year.
In Islam, the males can have a “herd” of 4 wives and force sex anytime. He can rape any woman he deems to have tempted him. Women don’t have estrus. They have mensus once a month and can be raped anytime by force or thankfully for humans, she can chose when to have sex in civilized societies. So sad that Biden let the Taliban take over Afghanistan, letting this barbarity reassert itself. Islam must recognize women are humans!
