Great to know that Robert Spencer’s “revelations” of bad poetry are still with him even when “This Week in Jihad” is being guest hosted. Hope that David Wood is having fun or doing something useful or both, and welcome Apostate Prophet!
And I don’t imagine any Muslim can produce anything like this poetry–certainly, they haven’t been able to so far…
In Turkey Muslim scholars hold that you can be beaten or killed if you don’t keep up your Islamic prayers–and apparently Erdogan is now openly agreeing with this savagery. So much for “no compulsion in religion”… I seldom appalud communists, for obvious reasons, but kudos to them for spaeking out about this–not that it did any good, of course.
Then in Britain–where until recently one might have expected better–it is apparently not a crime from Muslim clerics to incite violence against Jews. Of course he is not leaving it up to “Allah”–Muslims are supposed to enforce this savagery.
It’s fine to threaten Jews with a second Holocaust, as well. But scoffing at Islam? You wind up arrested there.
Fun is un-Islamic–unless it is raping little girls. That kind of “fun” is perfectly Halal… So, of course, is laughng at Muslims humiliating and murdering Infidels–the “Prophet” Muhammed himself considered this a laugh riot.
Poking fun at Jihad savagery can get your arrested or worse in places like Turkey, though.
Then, of course most Muslims are the descendents of conquered peoples–the idea that they are directly related to Muhammed is ridiculous. That the Apostate Prophet is more Turkish than many of these pious Turkish Muslims does not surprise. Odd that Islam, which is not supposed to care about race, is actually so racist…
Then, Muslims keeping up the Islamic tradition of raping Infidels and children–right here in the US. Islamic scholars all over the world affirm that girls can be raped–all on the model of the Prophet Himself, who “married” a six year old child and began raping her at nine. Wouldn’t want to prevent child rape–that might make the “Prophet” look bad. Islamic logic and morals…
Speaking of morals, in Switzerland a Muslim entered a church during mass and damaged and desecrated a famous statue of the Madonna. Of course, this thug was deemed “mentally ill”–despite hatred of Christianity and of human images being orthodox Islam.
The origin of the whole Black Madonna phenomenon is pretty murky–but likely has nothing to do with African depictions of Mary. There are a number of famous and often miraculous Black Madonnas in Europe.
Probably not that important in this case, anyway–just the fact of this work being Infidel was enough to make it a target.
Then, in Britain–Jack and the Beanstalk is not a Christmas story per se–but pantomimes, epecially Christmas pantomimes for children, have a long history there. They often include mashups of various fairy tales along with vaudville-like gags and stage magic, and Jack and the Beanstalk is a tradtional favorite. These are much beloved in England, albeit considered pretty corny by a lot of people. They also often have Christmas songs–altjough these are generally more apt to be secular favorites like Jingle Bells or White Christmas than actual religious carols–but still too Chrtistmassy for Muslims and their appeasers.
Note that Jews, Hindus, and atheists are not complaining about this. Muslims are a different matter.
Then, what’s with the skyrocketing number of immigrants from Muslim nations claiming that they are gay and asking for asylum? Now, some few might be, and be in real danger if they go back–but likely many now just realize that the Infidels will let yiu stay if you are gay. That they are admitting that Islam is a danger to gay people seems to be OK, so long as they can get a foothold and lots of welfare here in the West…
And as Robert Spencer notes, same sex rape and raing little boys is fine in Islam–it is only consensual same sex relationships that are Haram and can get you thrown off rooftop.

The Jack in the Beanstalk part got me. It’s a fairy tale – has nothing to do with Christianity. Since RS has forgotten the story, here’s the TL/DR version: Jack exchanges his mom’s cow for a bag of magic beans, & is sent to bed w/o dinner by his enraged mom. Next morning, he finds that the beanstalk has grown to the sky. He climbs it and has a series of adventures that results in him stealing a giant’s magic harp and a hen that laid golden eggs, and cutting down the beanstalk while the giant was busy chasing him
I liked the first part where they were discussing Turkey. The part about Turks discovering Greek or Armenian blood in them was funny, as was the hypocrisy about Erdogan’s attacks on Israel. Sooner or later, the West will have to take these threats seriously: upto now, they’ve been ignoring it, while doing everything to rile Putin

I, too, wondered why Jack and the Beanstalk is included. Never in my wildest thoughts would that story be something told for Christmas and has nothing to do with Christianity.
The kid is a thief. Un-Christian behavior, taught in a fairy-tale as if because he stole from a giant, that makes the theft okay.
I’ve never heard of it being told at Christmas with any kind of acting involved. Must be an entirely British thing..

Precisely. Usually, that story is narrated from the POV of Jack, but if one sees it from a distance, as you did, then Jack was initially an idiot, and later a thief. He first makes a ridiculous trade of his cow for a bag of beans, and later, he steals first some coins, and later, the hen and the harp, and manages to kill the owner who was attempting to recover it
Yeah, it makes him less sympathetic that he seemed to be a cannibal, and therefore Jack was being threatened if he was spotted. But it’s important to remember that he was trespassing as well – on the giant’s property, where he had no business being. Only reason the giant “deserved” to die was that he’d normally have been happy to kill and eat the boy, and may not have been content w/ just recovering his harp and hen

Then, in Canada–in Missisauga, a suburb of Toronto–you have the idiot mayor celebrating Hamas thugs. She seems to think that Sinwar was a great leader.
Then, another appalling mayor, this time in Amsterdam–now she is claiming that cirticizing Muslims hunting and beating Jews is bad–because this supposedly descriminates against Jihadists attacking Jews. Just horrifying.
Then in Berlin in neighboring Germany, the mayor there is warning Jews and gays that they may be in danger in some parts of the city–but don’t call them No Go zones, despite this being what they are… Jews and gays should take pains not to appear Jewish or gay…
All Germany needed was to import hordes of violent antisemitic thugs–Muslims.
Then in Russia you can be arrested for burning a Qur’an–and be sent to Islamic Chechnya and charged with “treason”–now not being a Jihadist is “treasonous” in Russia? Madness… this poor young man.
The idea that Russia is standing against Jihad could not be further from the truth–in fact Putin is appeasing Islam.
Then, a Saudi cleric affirms–again–that Islam is a religion of peace. Note that this claptrap only dates to a 1930 magazine article from India whitewashing Islam. Now yiou hear this ll the time–usually right after some pious Muslms prove that Islam is *anything but*. President Bush parroted this rot right after 9/11.
Meanwhile–rather belying this–a Sheik in Iraq threatening a global war if Israel is permitted to defnd herself against Jihad terror attacks, and that the entire world will fall to Islam. You are a “brainless cowboy” if you oppose this savagary. All I can say is Yippee-Ki-Yi-Yay!

And in the UK a “Sunday school teacher”–actually, a Muslim–has been teaching her little charges to become “martyrs” murdering Infidels. Odd that most Sunday school teachers are not doing this kind of thing…

Actually, their is a kind of connection between the head of the ANC , Nelson Mandela, and the jihadist top dogs of Hamas , Hezbollah , al Qaeda and ISIS.
For Mandela was a committed Marxist , and employed the brutal cruel murderous teaching of Marxism to achieve his communist goals. Mandela renounce the use of deadly violence, he even tied up his political inside tires while they were alive and the burned to death by fire his political enemies.
Likewise, the jihadist chiefs of those jihad terror /murder entities ,just mentioned above, use brutal cruel violence to achieve their goals for the advancement of Islam.
By the way, it’s a good thing to remember that there is a movement which is known as the “Red/Green Alliance.
