In Chapter two of the Qoran, “al-baqra”, there is a confusing and unintelligible reference to sacrificing a cow in versus 67 to 71. In the present stream Robert mentions this reference right in the begening.
Can I please add something interesting.
As is manifestly obvious from a reading of parts of the Qoran, many versus are a terrible plagiarism of other theology texts.
I feel that the versus 67 to 71 are reflected in the Hindu text “Vishnu Puran”. Lord Vishnu incarnated in the form of “Krishna”. Interestingly, the story of birth of Moses, a prophecy that a child would be born who would kill the Pharaoh, the Pharaoh orders an infanticide, the child’s mother puts Moses in a basket in the Nile, the child is brought up by a tribe managing goats and sheep and later grows up and kills the Pharaoh has an interesting parallel in the Mahabharata and the Puran:
In North India in the City of Mathura, there was a cruel king by the name of “Kansa”. There was a similar prophecy. Lord Krishna was born, his parents placed the child in a basket and the father carried the child in the dead of night across the river “Yamuna”. Krishna was adopted by people in Gokul across the river and he spent his childhood managing and loving cows. He grew up and went to Mathura and killed the cruel king Kansa.
There is a story of Krishna gathering his fellow friends looking after the cows one day. He advised then to “kill the cow”. His friends were surprised and asked him what he meant as they could not believe that Krishna who loved and worshiped cows had advised their sacrifice. Krishna smiled and explained that the “cow” (translation also of the word “GAW” or “INDRI” that in ancient prakritik version of sanskrit also refers to ones sensory desires) is symbolised not by colour white but red, it bothers a person not in the childhood or old age but in the youth. His friends smiled and said that they had now understood and they said that they could only try but could not promise that they could do it (control their sensual desires). “GAU WADH” referred to control their sensory desires. A naive translation is “Kill the cow” which had surprised Krishna’s friends.
It is this story that seems to have been taken out of context and a poor senseless plagiarism done by the prophet [“PBUH”] that reflect a lack of understanding of the original story.

I remembered that in the Bible; John 10:10 Jesus says; that Satan comes to Rob, kill & Destroy, but I have come so they will have Life more Abundantly. So it makes sense that any Religion or Ideology that promotes Death and Destruction, * must obviously be Deceived, & following the Devil. By their ” Fruits you shall know them “

Watching today’s episode brought back some of the greatest hits of surah 2: the 2:223 (your wife is your tilth), and other rules about divorce and halala
I guess nothing about the UK today surprises me, but I just wonder whether other muslim countries have “halala-men” ready at all times to temporarily marry a divorcee, “consummate that marriage” and then divorce her to release her back to her original divorcing husband? Also, how do they deal w/ it if the wife is really attractive, and if the halala husband doesn’t wish to let go of her, but just keeps her as his permanent wife?
On the hair thing, I too have a bald head & therefore regularly shave it twice a week, and since my divorce years ago, haven’t had sex w/ anyone. Except that I am pro-Trump, and didn’t need his victory to do all those things. About the mocking of Robert’s baldness, I think he could adapt a Sioux-cut as well as transform the beard into a goatee, then there will be much less to mock about his looks 😈
