The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has been infamously aggressive in advocating not for Muslim civil rights, as it claims to do, but for Islamic supremacy and the “Islamophobia” subterfuge. It hunts down those who it deems to be threatening to its lofty position with such bellicosity that it now ironically finds itself at the center of a scandal, sparked by one of its own: Lori Saroya, a former CAIR Minnesota chapter leader.
The White House cut ties with CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad after he said he was “happy” about Hamas’ barbaric attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
And as if that weren’t enough of a scandal, a public battle ensued with Saroya which now threatens to further expose the organization. Saroya has already implied that “CAIR is funded by foreign governments and terrorist organizations.” The New York Post revealed in January 2024:
A controversial Islamic group — which the White House cut ties with after its director said he was “happy” about Hamas’ terror attack against Israel on Oct. 7 — is facing allegations of sexual assault and harassment.
The suit could see the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) forced to open its books amid claims secret foreign donors are funding its multi-million budget.
Lori Saroya was once, in the words of one person who knows her, the “golden child” of CAIR.
Based in Blaine, Minnesota, where she was a CAIR chapter leader, Saroya became so important to the national leadership that they brought her to the White House and groomed her to become a senior leader because she was the group’s “pride and joy.”
Now Saroya, 42, is shaping up to be CAIR’s worst nightmare as she pushes back in an ugly legal battle with the controversial Muslim civil rights organization that includes charges of sex assault and harassment allegations involving several CAIR leaders.
And it came to pass that CAIR is indeed being forced to reveal its sources of funding, as “US Magistrate Judge David Schultz ruled Monday that CAIR’s donors, funding sources — potentially including foreign ones — and any assets owned by the group are all within the ‘scope of permissible discovery.’” The irony of CAIR’s nightmare is welcome news as Saroya’s lawyer, “Jeffrey Robbins, described Monday’s ruling as ‘the mother of all legal boomerangs.‘” CAIR, with its links to Hamas, has no place in the fabric of America. Let’s hope the case sets a precedent.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will be forced to open its books and reveal its sources of funding after a defamation suit it filed against a former employee completely backfired.
US Magistrate Judge David Schultz ruled Monday that CAIR’s donors, funding sources — potentially including foreign ones — and any assets owned by the group are all within the “scope of permissible discovery” as part of former chapter leader Lori Saroya’s lawsuit against the controversial Muslim rights group.
Saroya filed a federal defamation complaint against CAIR in January after the group dropped its own lawsuit against the former employee, which accused her of embarking on a “defamation campaign” against the organization, including by implying that CAIR is funded by foreign governments and terrorist organizations.
CAIR alleged that Saroya’s statements — posted on social media, in comment sections and emailed to the group’s supporters — damaged the organization’s ability to fundraise and build partnerships, but it ultimately dropped the lawsuit in January 2022 over fears that Saroya’s legal team would “demand the names of CAIR supporters who have donated to us.”….

All it would take is a real investigation by someone like Andrew McCarthy. When they pull off a hoax and intimidate people or businesses into silence, or other concessions, it’s a form of extortion. And that’s just a beginning.
They get together to plan those things, which could be a conspiracy charge.
Two illegal acts are all it would take.

The attorney for the Plaintiff should subpoena the banking records directly from CAIR’s bank(s) (including all check images and deposit images and routing information) and ensure that there is a one-to-one correspondence between all donations produced in discovery and all deposits. He also needs to examine carefully, all checks and other withdrawals. I suspect that CAIR will not comply with the Magistrate Judge’s Order at first, but after a few motions, the judge will force them to comply under the threat of contempt of court. If it is established that CAIR has foreign funding, or there is funny business with the money, I hope that he files a complaint with the IRS to revoke CAIR’s 501(c)(3) status,
Unfortunately, CAIR is broken up into many regional CAIRs (e.g. Council on American Islamic Relations, PA)

Stations like WBBM, WGN9, WFLD, WLS will help CAIR try to get a State Senator fired, but won’t report unflattering news about CAIR.
Stations like; KABC,KGO, KNTV will promote CAIR fictitious reports but they won’t report on this unfavorable court ruling against CAIR.

Note that their “government contributions” total; $549,257, and their total revenue is $5,308,837 for the 2022 tax return.
It does not say what governmental agency is giving them this money, but I cannot imagine a proper use for it.
