The UN is obscenely biased against Israel. Hamas is to blame for every bit of suffering of Gazans, yet the UN and media reports continue to claim that Israel is the cause. It’s in the Reuters headline: “Israeli assault has caused ‘apocalyptic’ situation in northern Gaza, UN warns.” Then UN officials proceed to state that “Humanitarians are not safe to do their work and are blocked by Israeli forces and by insecurity from reaching people in need.” Then follow the usual demands for a ceasefire that would allow Hamas to survive.
The critical information in the story is only reported farther down: “Israel’s UN ambassador, Danny Danon, last month told the security council that the issue in Gaza was not a lack of aid, saying more than a million tons had been delivered during the past year. He accused Hamas of hijacking the assistance.”
Many reports have aligned with Danon’s statement, amid the expected and repeated denials by Hamas. See also HERE and HERE. Hamas terrorists are not credible, and neither are reports coming out of the Hamas Ministry of Health about civilian death tolls in Gaza.
Also, “Of the estimated 17,000 Hamas terrorists killed since the beginning of the war, the identities of 10,000 have been conclusively confirmed.”
Hamas bears the ful blamed for the “apocalyptic situation” in Gaza, for in addition to stealing aid, Hamas used Palestinians as human shields. Ditto for Hizballah in Lebanon.

The situation in the northern Gaza Strip is “apocalyptic” as Israel pursues a military offensive against Hamas militants in the area, top United Nations officials have warned.
“The entire Palestinian population in north Gaza is at imminent risk of dying from disease, famine and violence,” they said in a statement on Friday signed by the heads of UN agencies, including the UN children’s agency Unicef and the World Food Programme, and other aid groups.
Israel began a wide military push in northern Gaza last month. The United States has said it was watching to ensure that its ally’s actions on the ground show it does not have a “policy of starvation” in the north.
But on Friday, the UN officials said humanitarian efforts could not keep up with the scale of the needs in northern Gaza, due to constraints on access for aid workers.
“Basic, life-saving goods are not available. Humanitarians are not safe to do their work and are blocked by Israeli forces and by insecurity from reaching people in need,” they said.
They urged all parties fighting in Gaza to protect civilians and called on Israel to “ceases its assault on Gaza and on the humanitarians trying to help”…

I wish I could remember the name of the Facebook poster who put up a video of an American Jew, speaking into the camera, wearing a black Hasidic fur hat, with other Jewish men behind him, and was complaining about “the Zionist,” Netanyahu, but his question was “antisemitism?”
I replied that it seemed that this particular Jew was suggesting that European Jews – Jews who had left the territorial homeland – should have kept their mouths shut, submit, and let the gas chambers do their job, and that the U.S. should have minded its own business and let Hitler and the Nazis finish off the European Jews.
I read it that he was further suggesting perhaps that the territory now known as the state of Israel should have been kept purely for the “original” Hebrews, those who stayed put, and not Jews who wanted to return to what they thought of as their ancestral home. His bottom line seemed to be that there wouldn’t be any trouble in Israel if the Zionists – those Jewish troublemakers – had stayed away.

Note to he UN and Guterres: Israel is in a war that they did not start and do not want. Nonetheless, they are in it for the long pull, until Hamas is obliterated from Gaza and anywhere else that they can become a future threat. Those “civilians” in Gaza are quasi civilians. On October 7, 2023, they were Hamas, Hamas adjuncts, Hamas supporters, Hamas enablers, and Hamas sympathizers. None were disinterested civilians, except infants under 3 years of age (the time that their parents start poisoning their minds to hate Israelis and Jews and all that is not muslim).
These “civilians” had a continuous victory party and were cheering, dancing in the streets and handing out candy to celebrate the vicious murders, rapes, kidnapping, torturing and maiming of Israeli citizens (and a few foreigners) committed by Hamas, these “civilians” and UNRWA employees. Where was the UN then? Yes, participating, and cheering on the massacre. Isn’t it sweet to celebrate your team’s victory UNTIL…the full wrath of the IDF comes down upon Gaza like Thor’s hammer.
Only then do you want Israel to cease fire. Of course, there was never any mention by the UN of returning ALL of the hostages, or at least having the Red Cross meet them to see their condition. And why should Israel now listen to the UN when it is proven UNRWA participated in the October 7th atrocities and your “peacekeeper” troops in Lebanon were aiding and abetting Hizb’allah? Israel needs to be less discriminate in their bombings, and they should let loose many “dumb” bombs with its attendant collateral damage instead of depending on the US for JDAMS conversion kits to pinpoint targets. Israel should completely cut off electricity and fuel to Gaza. It should bomb any Gazan electric generation and distribution facilities, water works, sewage systems, etc., and show the UN and future Muslim countries intent on attacking Israel what the consequences of embarking on this course.

“The left side of the map contains the phrase “From the River to the Sea” and the right side contains the phrase, “Will be Free.” It is an obvious nod to the phrase, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will be Free.”
….The UN’s Global Peace Flag exhibit contains no explicit call for the hostages to be released. Nor do any messages condemn Hamas, or the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, which has been firing rockets into Northern Israel in solidarity with Hamas for over a year.
“This appalling display is front and center at the UN, and included art that unambiguously calls for the destruction of the Jewish people and the State of Israel,” Jonathan Harounoff, the international spokesperson for Israel’s Mission to the UN, said in a statement.
Danny Danon, Israel’s permanent representative to the UN, called the display a “disgrace” and “shameful” and demanded that the UN remove it.

They promote hate in those drawings. That is shameful. This is part of the hypocrisy of the United Nations. I demand that the UN will remove this exhibit immediately and will stop the hypocrisy against Israel.”
A UN spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the “Peace Flags” exhibit was compiled by a fashion designer who asked students and other people from around the world to send messages of peace on fabric scraps “as a way to repurpose fashion waste for positive impact.”
The spokesperson said UN staff, upon installation, informed the exhibit’s sponsor, SDG Action Campaign, that several panels “could not be displayed.” Among these were the panel that said, “From the River to the Sea.”
“Those panels in the quilts [were] covered with square cloth in agreement with the organizer in the second week of October. Earlier last week, someone removed those covers. Our colleagues covered it twice last week and were planning to do the same today upon learning that it was uncovered again,” the spokesperson said. “We have alerted UN Security to the continued unauthorized interference in the exhibit and to review security footage to find out who is responsible.”
