Elise Stefanik will be the next US ambassador to the UN. She is best known for her grilling of three university presidents — Claudine Gay of Harvard, Sally Kornbluth of MIT, Liz Magill of the University of Pennsylvania — and over their failure to properly address antisemitism on their campuses. None of them could give a straight answer to a simple question: would calling for the genocide of Jews violate your institution’s code of conduct? They all answered with variants of “it depends.” Stefanik was outraged. Stefanik, currently the No. 4 Republican in the House, said in a statement that she’s “truly honored” and “deeply humbled” by the nomination. She highlighted antisemitism as one of the key issues that she’s aiming to tackle in her new role.
“The work ahead is immense as we see antisemitism skyrocketing coupled with four years of catastrophically weak U.S. leadership that significantly weakened our national security and diminished our standing in the eyes of both allies and adversaries,” Stefanik said. “I stand ready to advance President Donald J. Trump’s restoration of America First peace through strength leadership on the world stage on Day One at the United Nations.”
In a statement announcing her selection, Trump highlighted Stefanik’s service on the Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, and her work on campus antisemitism.
In a hint to how she’ll approach her new role, Stefanik has repeatedly blasted the U.N. as systemically antisemitic. She said that the U.S. would need to reconsider all funding it provides to the U.N. if the Palestinian Authority’s efforts to expel Israel from the General Assembly succeed.
“American taxpayers have no interest in continuing to fund an organization that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have allowed to rot with antisemitism,” Stefanik said in a statement in October. “[Biden and Harris] must take the names of any country supporting this blatantly immoral effort and make clear the position of the United States — the UN’s single largest source of funding.”
Additionally, Stefanik has been a longtime supporter of permanently ending U.S. support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, and backed Israel’s decision to bar the scandal-plagued U.N. agency from operating in the country.
Stefanik also lambasted the U.N. in September for passing a resolution demanding an immediate end to Israel’s “unlawful presence” in the Palestinian territories….
Mike Waltz will be Trump’s National Security Adviser. As a Congressman, Mike Waltz has been firmly pro-Israel and a proponent of anti-Iran legislation. He has also sponsored a bill condemning members of The Squad for antisemitism. …Last month, when Israel retaliated against Iran for its ballistic missile attack, Waltz suggested that Israel should have struck Kharg Island, a key locus for Iran’s oil exports, and its nuclear facilities at Natanz and questioned whether the Biden administration had pressured Israel “once again to do less than it should.”
He told Jewish Insider in September that the U.S. should be putting pressure on Hamas and its Iranian backers, and accused the Biden administration of applying “one-sided pressure on Israel to make a [cease-fire] deal” with Hamas in Gaza. Waltz also expressed skepticism of the U.S.-proposed cease-fire plan between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Even before the war in Gaza, Waltz told JI in May 2023 that the U.S. should make clear it wouldn’t stop Israel from striking Iran’s nuclear program and that the U.S. should show Iran “through a variety of means that our military capabilities are such that we could indeed severely damage their program.”
Waltz told JI in Oct. 2023 that the U.S. needed to project stronger deterrence against Iran and lay out clear consequences for attacks on U.S. and Israeli personnel through its proxies, as well as restrict its access to funds. He highlighted the killing of Gen. Qassem Soleimani as an example of effective deterrence….
What more could one want from the appointments of Rubio, Stefanik and Waltz? There must be jubilation in Jerusalem. There must be rage in Ramallah.

WHY is the USA paying more money into the UN more than other rich Nations plus giving that organization free rent in Manhattan while they disavow most of what America stands for, so IF the USA has to stay in this joke of an outfit then they should pay the same amount as Japan,Germany Saudi etc and not a Dime more, however best result is to move the UN permanently over to their Geneva Offices and rent or sell out the UN building in Manhattan as Apartments.
