Trudeau says he’ll ‘abide by’ ICC and allow Netanyahu’s arrest in Canada

The obscene warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against only Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant (since Israel announced that the third person named, Mohammed Deif of Hamas, was killed in July), is even worse than the historic Dreyfus affair, which was famous for its antisemitism and gross miscarriage of justice. Israel is fighting for its existence in a war started by Hamas, which uses human shields to rack up casualties it can use for propaganda purposes.

Justin Trudeau has chosen to go down on the wrong side of history.

Even the Biden White House has issued a condemnation against the ICC, stating:

The ICC issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous. Let me be clear once again: whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.

This is a new low for Justin Trudeau and a humiliation to Canada.

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he would be “abide by” rulings of the International Criminal Court after it issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, even if it means arresting Netanyahu on Canadian soil.

Asked by a reporter on Thursday if he would allow an arrest to happen in Canada or if he would step in to prevent it happening, Trudeau said “it’s really important that everyone abide by international law. This is something we’ve been calling on from the beginning of the conflict.”

“We stand up for international law, and we will abide by all the regulations and rulings of the international courts. This is just who we are as Canadians,” said Trudeau.

The court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity during Israel’s campaign in Gaza that was sparked by the Oct. 7, 2023 massacre in southern Israel when Hamas terrorists killed 1,200 people and kidnapped 251 hostages.

Hamas is still holding about 100 people hostage, including children.

Opposition Conservatives reacted with outrage to Trudeau’s comments and the ICC warrants.

“The ICC arrest warrants for the former defence minister and the Prime Minister of Israel are outrageous. The ICC is drawing a false equivalency between a liberal democracy and a terrorist group that attacked that democracy last year. Conservatives stand for Israel’s right to defend itself,” wrote foreign affairs critic Michael Chong on X.

“Hamas needs to: Release the hostages. Drop their arms. Unconditionally surrender. We’ll support a democratic ally’s right to defend itself not the false equivalency of the court,” added Conservative deputy leader Melissa Lantsman.…

    The UN. has a thingy about the treatment of children….it has had for a very long time. If **everyone** has to abide by “international law,” then force mozlums to accept it or be arrested and thrown behind bars.

      • Unfortunately, Bibi and Gallant can no longer leave Israel because if there is a technical problem with their plane and they have to land somewhere else like Cyprus or Italy, they could be arrested on the tarmac of any ICC complying country.

    • Since the Soviet Union no longer exists, and China hasn’t adapted that flag – even though it’s the flag of the Chinese Communist Party – any of these countries can grab that flag while it’s still available. Maybe change the color of the hammer/sickle ☭ from yellow to something else, like the former Soviet Republics used to do? Or shift the ☭ to another location in the rectangle, so that it’s not mistaken for the Soviet flag

    1. Hamas fired all of sudden more than 700 rockets on Israel on 7th October 2023, nobody talks about the aggression but accusing only Israel.
    2. Russian aggression in Ukraine but the UNO is a mute spectator unable to do anything.
    3. What the United Nations is doing. Taliban in Afghanistan, Al Qaeda and Boko Haram in Pakistan, and Fulani militants in Nigeria are wreaking havoc. UNO has not yet made any effort to eliminate these terrorists.
    4. The daily expenses of ISIS and other terrorist groups will require millions of dollars. But no attempt has been made to find out where the money for these terrorist groups is coming from, where the weapons and ammunitions are coming from, and to stop it.
    5. There are no human rights available to the citizens of China, North Korea, Pakistan, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Why UNO has not yet intervened in these matters and why not interested to save the citizens.
    6. Poverty, hunger, famine, and starvation are rampant in Yemen, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, and other countries. But UNO is not interested to stop this.
    7. But, the UNO is only concerned with homosexuals, transgender people, and abortion and supporting HAMAS.
    8. 75 years have passed since the formation of UNO. Yet it did not attempt to achieve the main objectives of the fathers who created it.
    9. The first, second, and fourth objectives are about peace and tranquillity between nations. The third purpose is about hunger, famine, starvation, and disease. UNO should be interested in achieving its four main objectives.
    10. But, UNO is going the other way. UNO is acting against its purpose. UNO has deviated from its main purpose.
    Hence, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has no moral authority to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli defense Chief Yoav Gallant.

    Beautiful cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal now look like Islamabad bazaars–and Canadians are fed up with Housing affordability and disappearing Healthcare-thanks to millions of migrants & illegals Trudeau’s policies brought into the country.

    Borders will be much safer without Trudeau!
