Long before the Muslim mobs attacked Jews on the streets of Amsterdam on November 10, the Dutch government had been preparing a “national strategy” to combat antisemitism at every level of government and society, and to ensure the safety, and sense of belonging, of Dutch Jews. It is the most comprehensive plan that any country has yet adopted to deal with the worrisome rise in antisemitism, and its details deserve to be widely known. In the pursuit of a “Netherlands without antisemitism,” the Dutch government has unveiled a new national strategy for combating antisemitism, to last from 2024 to 2030. Among other things, the strategy involves the release of an additional 4.5 million euros for tackling antisemitism from 2025, and the establishment of a “Taskforce for Combating Antisemitism.”
The new strategy is to take a multi-year approach, and the cabinet will review its efficacy and take extra measures on a yearly basis. It is to be coordinated by the Justice and Security Ministry, and the National Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism is to play a central role in advising the cabinet, as well as ensuring implementation of policy.
With the current strategy, the government makes it clear that the fight against antisemitism concerns all Dutch people,” the Cabinet said. “We all have a responsibility, as a society, to combat antisemitism and the insecurity of Jews. The Netherlands stands for an open, reasonable, and tolerant society. Jewish life is a very explicit part of that.”
According to the statement, the Dutch Jewish community, which numbers about 50,000 (about 0.3% of the total population), “lives in great insecurity” and “without freedom.”
The new taskforce, led by the Justice and Security Ministry, will be established immediately and last for at least a year. It will have a particular focus on antisemitism within university settings, and will take on tasks such as the banning of antisemitic speakers at colleges.
The Cabinet added that the taskforce will consist of representatives from a range of ministries, including mayors, the education sector, the sports sector, the cultural sector, the public transport sector, and other social parties. Representatives of the Jewish community will also form part of the taskforce….
This is an extremely thorough and well-thought out program that other Western countries would do well to emulate. Antisemitism will never be eliminated, but the spread of the virus can be contained, its carriers punished, and the young provided with the education needed to be immunized against it, including required study of the Holocaust by new immigrants, while the victims of antisemitism are given the moral and financial support they deserve.

I am Dutch and this Governmnet Program is new to me. What happened here about 4 weeks ago with the Israeli soccer supporters and the police not doing anything or very little, is beyond frightening. The police even retreated. There were no arrests made as far as I know. So anyone who congratulates this Proram, should rethink their praise.

If it was only a matter of thwarting the Far Left and the little that remains of the Far Right, then, yes, a prospect of success might be the case, but we’re talking here about the most inveterate and long-lasting of all anti-Semitic ideologies in history, i.e., Islam, and The Netherlands, like so many other foolish Western countries, has let in a ton of Mohammedans and whose religion is steeped in hate for the “other” and especially for Jews.
Indeed and arguably, the fact that this “program” has become necessary in The Netherlands serves as evidence of just how dire the situation has become, made all the more dire by the fact that the elephant in the room is still not being called out, still stupidly and cravenly ignored. The elephant in the room is of course Islam—all of it.

What is the “plan” when it comes up sharply against an Islamic wall? Do they have contingency plans to deal with the push against it, from Leftists, Globalists (kind of the same thing), and fervent Muslims? Do they realize where most of the antisemitism is coming from, or are they in denial?

I doubt it will have much of any effect. It will be deemed Islamophobic and hurtful to innocent muslims. There will be no doubt a few dreadful would be murderers caught up but the ocean of hatred of Jihad will not be recognized as the engine that drives the hatred…. and that will likely make it fail.

If they still ignore what Quran says about the Jews, then all efforts will be useless. Banning a few people means nothing because 99.9% of the muslims will still learn and be taught to hate the Jews (and the other non muslims too).
Just ban Quran, hadiths and other Islamic books, and kick out the muslims who don’t like the ban, the country will be a lot more safer and prosperous.

The population of the Netherlands is approximately 18,228,742. Of that there are approximately 29,800 Jewish citizens. The cultists the Dutch imported are not just antisemitic they are anti non-muslim Dutch as well. In the future antisemitism will be the least of their problems.
