Could there have been an Islamic State jihadi in Houston? Absolutely. There is nothing at all in place to prevent it. The U.S. government is admitting large numbers of Muslims without making any effort to ascertain whether or not they have jihadist sympathies, as if it were even possible to tell. No one aside from MEMRI is paying any attention to what is being preached in the mosques. So this could be absolutely true. But this is the Biden-Harris corrupt, politicized, and deeply dishonest FBI, and so it is also possible that this is all a stitch-up, designed to show the incoming administration that the housecleaning that is so urgently needed at the FBI is not really necessary at all.
“FBI arrests Houston man for alleged ISIS ties, terror plot on US soil,” by Chris Pandolfo and Louis Casiano, Fox News, November 15, 2024:
A Texas man is in FBI custody on Thursday after authorities say he attempted to support ISIS and planned a terrorist attack on American soil — all from his apartment in Houston.
Authorities said 28-year-old Anas Said was searching for ways to commit violent acts on behalf of the Islamic State in the Houston area. He has been charged with attempting to provide material support to the terrorist group.
Said was arrested last week at the apartment complex where he lived, according to FBI Special Agent in Charge Douglas Williams.
Williams said that while in custody, Said admitted to researching how to conduct an attack on local military recruiting centers, offering his home as sanctuary for ISIS operatives, bragging that he would commit a “9/11-style” attack if he had the resources and attempting to produce ISIS propaganda.
“We stopped a potential terrorist attack from happening right here in Houston! Any day we can publicly say that is a good day,” FBI Houston said.
Said is being held in custody but appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, his attorney, Balemar Zuniga, told Fox News Digital.
“The indictment only alleges that he supported a terrorist group through the production of videos and propaganda,” he said, noting that federal prosecutors mentioned the plotting of terror acts but have not charged him with such. “None of that is alleged.”
Said has been on the FBI’s radar since the bureau received a tip in 2017 about him purchasing two stickers: “one containing an image of the Dome of the Rock2 with an ISIS flag overlaying the image, and another showing the white silhouette of a man holding a rifle with the caption, “Winning the Islamic Nation.”
“Does it seem a bit excessive? Yes,” Zuniga said.
Said was interviewed by the FBI four times in 2018 in relation to the sticker purchases.
“During an interview conducted on or about January 29, 2018, the Defendant admitted both stickers were meant to show support for ISIS,” though he did not support killing in the name of ISIS at the time, according to a detention memo laying out the allegations against Said. Said began supporting the ISIS ideology in 2015 when his family returned to the U.S. from Lebanon.
Said was born in the United States and moved to Lebanon with with family as a child, Zuniga said. He returned to the U.S. in 2014….

Baldemar F. ‘Val’ Zuniga….(self-reporting, he claims no complaints about his practice to the TX State Bar)
This guy defends mostly drug traffickers, so they are not likely to complain about his defense of their cases.
The mozlum is one of those who was ‘on the radar’ and got caught. Perhaps the FBI offices in Houston are run by some of the ‘good agents’ who actually are trying to do the job. It is possible if not considered likely.
It’s good that he was caught before he could murder someone. Of course, his attorney might get him off.

Well is it possible to ever get to the TRUTH ?
The Hadith makes it clear that Muslims are allowed to lie to unbelievers in order to defeat them or protect themselves. There are several forms:
Taqiyya – Saying something that isn’t true as it relates to Muslim identity (i.e whether one is a Muslim or what that means). This is a Shiite term: the Sunni counterpart is Muda’rat.
Kitman – Lying by omission. An example would be when Muslim apologists quote only a fragment of verse 5:32 (that if anyone kills “it shall be as if he had killed all mankind”) while neglecting to mention that the rest of the verse (and the next) mandate murder in undefined cases of “corruption” and “mischief.”
Tawriya – Intentionally creating a false impression by saying something that is technically true, when knowing that the listener will interpret it in a different way. This practice has a broader application than taqiyya.
Muruna – ‘Blending in’ by setting aside some practices of Islam or Sharia in order to advance others.

It is good that they are vigilant about threats of ISIS.
But, now they need to get wise to the thousands, and thousands, and thousands of Hamas supporters in this country, who masquerade as “pro-Palestinians” .
Start doing something about them!

Texas: FBI arrests Muslim, claims it ‘stopped a potential terrorist attack from happening right here in Houston!’
………………………..
Glad this was foiled–but he never should have been here in the first place. And how much money and manpower have we spent monitoring this thug for the past *seven years*?
At least it wasn’t the case as it is so often in Europe where you hear that police were monitoring some Jihadist yet he is *still* free to murder Infidels.

The caught a guy who was publishing videos (probably online). That’s not very impressive.
