The Qur’an says “Kill the polytheists,” who are pretty much every non-Muslim from the Islamic perspective, “wherever you find them” (9:5). The “books of Zionism,” whatever Khan may have in mind, do not say this.

In an unprecedented move, Pakistan’s Senate Standing Committee on Interior approved a bill on Thursday imposing prison sentences for promoting Zionism. The legislation aims to curb incitement to communal hatred amid concerns over the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
The new bill stipulates that promoting Zionism to incite communal hatred can lead to a prison term of up to three years. Displaying Zionist symbols with the intent to cause public unrest carries a sentence of up to two years.
Senator Afnanullah Khan of the ruling Muslim League-N party introduced the Criminal Law Amendment Bill. Khan claimed that the ideology of Zionism promotes violence, citing the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Speaking during a session led by Senator Faisal Saleem Rehman, Khan asserted that Zionist ideologies currently influence the world. He stated, “It is written in the books of Zionism that those who do not agree with you should be killed. They are martyring children in Gaza under this ideology.”
Khan further emphasized that Zionist propaganda and symbols would be banned in Pakistan, adding that there are individuals in the country with Zionist beliefs….
The introduction of this legislation is notable given the lack of reported cases of Zionist preaching or propaganda in Pakistan. Historically, a notable Jewish community lived in Karachi, Pakistan’s commercial center, and Rawalpindi, its garrison city, prior to the nation’s establishment.

I agree, Infidel. If any of those even look up at the clock, they might be arrested. Of if they say a word about Israel, they are in danger.
But, as you say, they “are too busy trying to survive.” They must watch every step they take to try to avoid being called out for blasphemy….which carries a death sentence.

I know that Wiki ain’t the last word on this, but they mentioned a man Fishel Benkhald who maintains a Karachi Jewish cemetery and claims to be the last Jew in Pakistan. However, elsewhere in that article, it mentioned that as of 2017, there are 745 Jewish families in Pakistan. However, in the very next sentence, it says that Karachi Jews now live in Ramla (Israel), Mumbai and Toronto
I do think you are right though – I’d be surprised if there are any Jews left even in Pakistan. As for Afghanistan, the one Jew who was remaining left Afghanistan in 2021, after the Taliban regained power. All Sikhs, Hindus & Christians fled to India, while again, as per Wiki, Zablon Simintov and his cousin Tova Moradi turned out to be the last Jews in Afghanistan. Simintov emigrated to an undisclosed country (not certain that it’s Israel) while Moradi’s ultimate destination was unknown, but she was out of there

You are right, Infidel, that Zablon Simantov–the last Jew in Afghansitan–fled in 2021. Just glad that he survived long enough to leave.
Whatever the exact numbers in Pakistan, we can be sure that there are very few.

Most of the Jews living in what was become Pakistan upon the partition either fled to India or to Israel. The main synagogue in Rawalpindi was confiscated to become state property under the Islamist military dictator Zia-ul-Haq. Despite Pakistan’s alleged monotheism and India’s polytheism Jews have been much better appreciated in India than in Pakistan. If I am not mistaken the numbers of Jews who are citizens of Pakistan can be counted on one hand.
