We’ve been hearing a great deal about fascism in this election, with the left making increasingly unhinged warnings about how Donald Trump will destroy Americans’ freedom to waste their lives watching pornography and force them to have children, while in the process of taking an axe to “our democracy” itself.
This seems, however, to be an increasingly obvious case of leftists resorting to their familiar tactic of accusing their opponents of what they themselves are actually doing. Over and over, we see leftists trying to intimidate people into being afraid to express views that oppose them, or even to allow their foes to have a fair hearing. So once again: who’s the fascist? They’re finding out at the McDonald’s that famously played host to Donald Trump.
What the Daily Caller reported Thursday was drearily predictable: “In the wake of Trump’s widely-publicized campaign stop at the ‘Golden Arches’” franchise in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, “Yelp disabled reviews for the location amid a flood of negative comments, and the franchise’s owner retained private security to ensure the safety of employees and patrons in response to threats made against the eatery.”
Oh, for pete’s sake. Threats? Remember that when Trump made his celebrated appearance at Mickey D’s, the corporation issued a balanced and generous statement, saying: “As we’ve seen, our brand has been a fixture of conversation in this election cycle. While we’ve not sought this, it’s a testament to how much McDonald’s resonates with so many Americans. McDonald’s does not endorse candidates for elected office and that remains true in this race for the next President.”
McDonald’s said that Harris was as welcome as Trump was, and added: “Though we are not a political brand, we’ve been proud to hear former President Trump’s love for McDonald’s and Vice President Harris’s fond memories working under the Arches,” as fictional as the latter may have been.
That wasn’t good enough for some of Harris’ fanatical cadres. Jim Worthington, who led Pennsylvania’s delegation to the Republican National Convention, said that the Feasterville McDonald’s had gotten threatening calls and social media messages, which it took seriously enough to hire armed guards.
Worthington also noted that the McDonald’s outlet that Trump made famous was not the only recipient of such treatment: “The individual that owns the franchise went out of his way, and you never know what the reaction is going to be from people that don’t agree with hosting something political. For me, I’ve had experience where they actually boycotted my business because of my support and it cost me millions of dollars in lost revenue. It takes a lot of guts to do that. I don’t know how his business has been impacted or not impacted, but I just wanted to show my appreciation.”

I checked a map of Alameda (the island, not the entire county) for McDonalds, and found only two locations there. Now, back in the day, 1982, there may well have been more, but I doubt a lot more. It shouldn’t be very complicated to just revisit those 2 McD’s that were there in Alameda and check whether they ever had Kamala on their employee rolls. Unless McD’s explicitly states that they discarded employee records after a certain amount of time
Megyn Kelly made the point that at one’s first job, one can easily remember major facts about what happened there, and find co-workers to substantiate that they worked there. Even if the company in question, or the store in question no longer exists. All the 3 companies I previously worked in have merged w/ bigger companies, but I could easily produce co-workers who’d vouch that I worked there. It’s pretty strange that Kamala’s campaign can find nobody to verify that she worked there, and had to quietly drop that claim of working at McD’s

Hate to burst your bubble, but Hawk Tuah Harris DID work at McDonalds. In fact her first promotion occurred there due to the extra work she performed on Mayor McCheese’s mozzarella stick. Give her her props.
Also not that she’s dropped more boxers than Mike Tyson.

Except that Willie Brown was mayor of San Francisco, not Alameda, and that too, in 1996, not 1982. What she had been saying was that she worked at a McD’s in Alameda in 1982
But from Wiki, there is this account of her at the time:
In other words, she was in Montreal in 1982, and then in DC. Her father lived in Palo Alto, & her mom in Montreal. Of all places, what would make her work at a McD in Alameda, when she would logically have found such a job either at Montreal or in DC?
In fact, the more one explores her account of her life history, the more unlikely certain parts of it look. She just made up the McD story to impress people, or at least, she thought it would impress people

She grew up–part of the time, at least–in Berkeley, so working in Alamedia would not have been implausible (they are separated by Oakland) and she was 18 in 1982. But her family seems to have left Berkeley when she was 12. So you are right–the logistics don’t seem to line up.

Maybe she was confusing being a patron at McDonalds to actually working there? I will vouch that it is work to get the staff there to give you an order of fries before they put salt on them. It once took me over 2 minutes to convince the cashier to get me fries with no salt on them. She kept telling me that they can’t make a special order for me. When I saw a batch coming out of the deep frier, I told her to scoop out a large fries before they added salt. She said oh! And she then did so.
It is some people’s Peter Principle to work at McDonalds. If Kamala really did work there, she rose to the level of her incompetence at that point!

The United States has had two socialist Presidents, Bill Clinton then Barack Obama. Now during this year of 2024 there is the pseudo “president”, Joe Biden, sitting in the Oval Office of the White House, he is likewise a socialist. Now this is the first, meaning that if Kamala Harris actually does “win” the November 5th 2024 general election , it would be the very first time that the United States as a Communist as President.

If the hyena’s supporters actually believed that she had once worked at a McDonald’s they should go to the one where she said she did. They could all order something and be positive. But they are all losers, and so they must try to put their negativity on to everyone who sees things through clean glasses.

How the left seems to have gone crazy on Trumps’ minor troll of him working at McDonalds shows how deranged and thin skinned they are. When I saw the clip of Trump at McDonalds you can see how he interacted with the employees both he and the employees seem to be having a good time .Harris and her jackbooted progressives seem to really have contempt for the people they proclaim to love .They treat the public and talk to them like children ,they all seem to be like abusive parents .They are ready to resort to violence (or sent their goon squad followers ) and or law fare if they do not get their way Progressive “joy” is kind of like brown shirt “joy” in Germany 1933 ,funny how the democratic party seems to project so hard at throwing that label unto anyone who thinks differently then them.
