“Then, when the sacred months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and besiege them, and prepare for them every ambush.” (Qur’an 9:5)
“4 Dead after Muslim Extremists Attack Christian Farming Community,” International Christian Concern, November 15, 2024:
11/15/2024 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) — As Kushuwai started harvesting rice with his family on Nov. 8 in Gidan Waya, Jama’a County, he suddenly found himself in the middle of a nightmare.
Muslim extremists, believed to be Fulani militants, attacked his farming community, killing four Christians and critically wounding several others. The attack is the latest to hit Southern Kaduna, where farmers are increasingly vulnerable to violence.
“They came in their numbers, armed with guns, knives, and machetes,” he recalled, his voice heavy with grief. “They encircled us without firing a shot. My son begged them to spare us, but they attacked him instead. My daughters and the other women ran for their lives while I was struck down trying to intervene.”
Although Kushuwai survived with severe injuries, his son was brutally killed. The suspected Fulani extremists looted the harvested rice and other belongings before moving on to attack another farm….
The violence did not stop with Kushuwai’s family. That night, Muslim extremists invaded Danlami Kukur’s home, killing him and abducting his daughter. Before they released his daughter, the extremists repeatedly sexually assaulted her….
Friday Daro, a resident of one of the attacked farming communities, highlighted the emotional and psychological toll these attacks have on survivors, particularly women and children.
“Victims of sexual assault often face stigma and trauma, making it even harder for them to recover,” Daro explained. “We need Christian organizations to pray for us and stand with us during these trying times.”…

Being a farmer is an honorable profession, but being able to defend yourself and family from evil with deadly force is also honorable. What our world needs now are Christian soldiers to seek and destroy the evil that prevails. Onward Christian Soldiers! I will not succumb to evil nor allow it to exist.

It is difficult to keep an armed force in every field in Nigeria at all times–and the Jihad terrorists know it.

One more of those herdsmen vs farmers?

Grimly amusing, Infidel.

It will not end until Christ brings it to an end; because it’s what mozlums do and because the world does not care.
He asks that Christians pray for them. I certainly do. For them and all who are suffering. May Christ arrive soon to ‘repay’ the rapists, kidnappers and murderers for what they have done and are continuing to do.
May the Christians not give up, but pray for endurance and more faith.

Why should we wait for Christ when He is waiting to see how we handle the evil that is present?
somehistory says
We can oppose evil; but the Bible clearly says that “vengeance” belongs to God and that Christ will ‘bring tribulation” to those who cause tribulation for Christians.
There is a Psalm that repeats the phrase, “Wait for God.”
It’s everyone’s choice as to what to do, whether to ‘wait” or not. I prefer to follow Scripture.

I hear you. Psalm 91 says it plainly for all to see. Stay strong, stay healthy and stay alert!

You, too. If it comes to self-defense or my family, then I’ll ‘sell an outer garment and buy a sword.’ And pray for our Savior to “come quickly.”

Nigeria is undergoing what Islamists did in the past and do in the present by getting into govt and then once in power start massacring non-Muslims and islamizing the country. Same story in North Africa, Turkey, Lebanon. and so on. Ongoing story in the West which Left-wing useful idiots facilitated/ are facilitating.
Christian villages need to have an armed force, protecting them, in place.

Spot on Hank!

“Then, when the sacred months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and besiege them, and prepare for them every ambush.” (Qur’an 9:5)
These days the killing is non-stop, they don’t even wait until the “sacred months have passed.”

Only five comments from JW readers (not including mine), compared to the posting “Uproar Ensues as a Jewish Woman From the Middle East Plays a Jewish Woman From the Middle East” which has 23 replies (not including mine).
Even (some) the JW readers are completely neglecting black African. I feel some hypocricy here.

Yes, it is and more. I’ve noticed for decades the lack of American media reports on the injustice and evilness that exist against Christians in Africa. The same is coming to America since nothing is being done for Africa.

Most people–including Anti-Jihadists–are more apt to comment on stories from their part of the world–this is human nature, not hypocrisy. There are now 15 comments here–that is likely more than you will find articles in the whole of the West on this terrible incident.
Many here at Jihad Watch are deeply concerned about the JIhad in sub-Saharan Africa–including Robert Spencer himself, who regularly covers these issues.
With respect, abu taleb, I think you are off base accusing Anti-Jihadists of racism and hypocrisy.

I believe part of it is because it’s so depressing and many just don’t know what to say.
Just about every week there is a story out of Africa where mozlums are slaughtering, kidnapping, burning, destroying…it gets more and more difficult to read and then respond with a comment that doesn’t sound the same with each account.
I pray every night for those ones in all parts of Africa who are trying to hold on. It must feel completely hopeless at times.
But, Christ will come and He will execute vengeance, and see that the innocent receive Justice and relief.
