On November 7 in Amsterdam, Muslims — mostly Moroccans with an admixture of assorted non-Moroccan Arabs as well as Turks — attacked Jewish and Israeli fans of the Maccabi Soccer Club just two days before, some have mordantly observed, the November 9 anniversary of Kristallnacht. In a frenzy of antisemitic hatred, these Muslims ran through the streets in a “Jodenjacht” or “Jew Hunt,” and when they caught any Jew, the Muslims — always in groups, never alone — surrounded their Jewish victims, punched them, beat them up, threw them to the ground and kicked them repeatedly in the head, and continued to beat and kick them until other Jews showed up and managed to rescue their coreligionists.
These attacks should not have been a surprise. The Mossad had warned the office of Mayor Femke Halsema that there would likely be trouble from Muslim rioters following the appearance of Israeli fans at a soccer match where Maccabi would be playing. But Mayor Halsema did nothing. She did not send out any notices to the police, did not call for extra police protection for the Jewish fans as they left the sports stadium. The Jews were — not for the first time in Dutch history — on their own. The result was a horrific bloodbath, as Muslim mobs set upon any Jews they could find. As the big players in the Dutch political arena all spoke out condemning what many are calling a ‘pogrom’ against Jewish supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv, the position of Amsterdam’s mayor seems to be weakening by the hour. Geert Wilders, leader of the largest coalition party in the national government in The Hague, though not a member of the government himself, called for Femke Halsema’s resignation.
Apart from calling for deportation of the perpetrators of what the rightwing leader in Dutch labeled as a Jodenjacht (which literally translates as ‘Jew hunt’), Wilders wrote on X: “It is completely unacceptable that there wasn’t enough police protection to prevent this violence and protect the people. The mayor of Amsterdam needs to resign today.” Geert Wilders and his Freedom Party have been critical of immigration from muslim countries for almost two decades. Most of the youths that attacked Israeli soccer fans in the Dutch capital were of Moroccan descent.
The claim that most of the “youths” who beat up Jews were of Moroccan descent might by some be taken to mean there were also Dutch people beating up Jews. There were not. Those who were not Moroccans were other Arabs — Algerians, Palestinians, Tunisians — as well as Turks.
Wilders even went so far as to attack his coalition’s justice minister David van Weel – a member of the liberal party, also baring the word ‘freedom’ in its name, on X: “Why aren’t you deporting this scum? Where are your proposals to take away citizenship from criminal Muslims? Where is your sense of urgency?” His criticism of Halsema, however, was the most widely echoed on social media. The mayor of Amsterdam, member of the Green Left, has been under fire from the right wing of Dutch society – a majority nowadays – and members of the Jewish community for not acting against antisemitism and violence during anti-Israel protests since October 7th.
Halsema is an outspoken opponent of antisemitism, at least according to her political allies and most notably herself. However, this seems mostly to be in relation to historic Jew hatred….
Halsema has spoken out only against traditional antisemites, those Dutch people who are politically on the far right. That is what is meant by “historic Jew hatred.” But she has said nothing about the Jew-hatred coming from the Muslims who have been allowed to settle in the Netherlands. She still can’t quite get her head around the idea that there are antisemites — homicidal antisemites — on the left.
Halsema’s move to ban all marches over the weekend is considered particularly strange, since it means no demonstrations to support the Jewish community and condemn the antisemitic violence will be allowed. Which in turn means that there would be no visible criticism of Halsema herself in the streets….
In banning all marches, the mayor made sure that there would be no marches in support of the Jewish victims of Muslim violence on October 7, 2023, no marches to condemn burgeoning antisemitism in the country, and no marches, either, whose participants would call for her resignation. Never before has Femke Halsema banned any marches, not even when, after October 7, Muslims began to routinely march every week through the streets and along the canals of Amsterdam, chanting the genocidal phrase “death to the Jews.”
In a previous episode of public Jew-hatred, the mayor badly let down the Jewish community. She was attending the opening of the National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam, and was inside the building when Muslims who had gathered at the museum’s entrance to make things unpleasant began to loudly chant against Jews just as Jewish guests, including children and Holocaust survivors, arrived. The mayor later claimed that she had not heard the chants, though others also inside at the time heard them all too clearly. Mayor Halsema simply did not want to deal with the reality of Muslim antisemitism. A perfect example of “hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.”
Halsema’s pretense of not having heard any antisemitic chants infuriated Jewish community leaders. She heard the chants, but wasn’t about to call in the police to remove the mob harassing the Jewish invitees and making a mockery of the solemn event.
And just now, though warned in advance by Mossad of what was likely to happen after the Maccabi-Ajax game, she did nothing to protect the Jews in Amsterdam from the Muslims who came prepared to beat and kick them into submission. No extra police were posted, no warnings to Jewish community leaders were made, no public apology was given by the mayor to the Jews of Amsterdam for her failures and their great distress. She needs to do the only decent thing, and resign.

There was massive police around the ‘Arena’ stadium, but the pogrom started when the supporters came back by way of metro to the Amsterdam Central Station, where they were confronted with the antisemites and the taxi drivers (mostly mohamedan) refused to take them back to their hotels. It is exactly right there where there should have been a police task force. Halsema should and could have known about this scheme. She should have spied on the mohamedans, who have been openly planning this pogrom on social media. Where were the informers, the snitches? Don’t tell me they weren’t available. She failed completely.

The failure would seem to be the lack of utter condemnation for the Islamic hatreds of Jews that was so obviously called up, and the williing participation of such as Uber drivers of the muslim persuasion, who passed along all this information. They should have their phones and messaging means evaluated and if so affirmed,charged- as should the Islamic imams who’ve peddled their bigotry, their hatred, and their culpability.

Somehistory, I don’t have any reason to believe that it was members of Ajax football club who attacked Macabee fans–in fact, looking at their roster I don’t see any obvious Muslim names. It was the Muslims who have increasingly invaded Europe, including Amsterdam.
I don’t think that barring Jews from supporting their own teams–in whatever sport–is the answer for making Jews safer.
By the way, my husband covers soccer games here in the San Francisco bay area–but I would be concerned whatever sport this might be.

People, esp. those in charge needed to be treated as they are. They have vast powers, like this mayor and she obviously could’ve prevented or stopped this pogrom from happening.
Sometimes people deny reality (or they’re stupid/ignorant), but the real reason they fail to do what is ‘right’, is that they side with the enemy, that’s what I noticed from Trudeau and his cabinet. It’s not that they don’t know about the conflict going on, they just happened to support the false claims of victimhood by the terrorist entity-Palestine.
I take the same view with Halsema, she’s not an idiot, she’s pro-Palestinian and probably hates Israel, after choosing (as most of them do) to hear only one side of the story.
So not only should she be removed, she should face criminal charges and go to jail for her failure to protect the Jews. Innocent people were severely beaten under her watch and she’s responsible.
The same was about to happen in the US with Kamala Harris. These people are antisemites and they support Islamic fascism, plain and simple. We averted a huge disaster thanks to people voting for Trump. Muslims did us a favor with all their constant ‘Free Palestine’ marches and their vile behavior towards Jews and supporters.
The average person began to see how rotten and evil they are and it also gave the chance for Israel’s side to be heard. It’s basically a war between ‘stupid’ (antisemitic) and smart people and the smart people, at least in the US so far, won.
They did also in Holland and some other European countries, like France, but the scummy center-left united to block the center-right parties from having full power. Geert Wilders rightly deserved to be PM but they stopped that from happening.
But as average people get more educated, I think the anti-Muslim/Islam parties will continue to get stronger over time and meanwhile the antisemites will continue be deported. Still a lot more needs to be done as there are tens of millions of them in Europe and the West in general, that need deportation.
Should such attacks continue, then we’re going to see civil war possibly WW3.

The only realistic solution to the ongoing destruction of Europe by Islam is a stop to immigration, and mass deportations of Muslims already in Europe.
This, of course will never happen. Given the huge numbers, any deportation programmes would likely initiate civil wars of resistance within Europe and no government could permit such an eventuality.
The effects of mass immigration are irreversible in any way except by deportations, so the eventual destruction of European culture now appears a certainty.

I am from the Netherlands. Femke Halsema must resign as she allowes Muslim terror activism’s every day in our streets. And I mean EVERY day. The majority of our people despise the left parties as they have abandoned the Dutch people completely (Dutch people off all backgrounds that participate and just want a normal happy life). A parallel society of Muslims has grown, every year bigger and bigger. This will not end well.
