He faces between one and ten years in prison, and after he serves some small fraction of his sentence, he will be out on the streets again and ready to become a loyal, stable, productive German citizen, right? Because extensive efforts will have been made in prison to disabuse him of his jihadist sentiments, right?
Actually, nothing will be done in prison except that those jihadist sentiments will be reinforced. He will most likely emerge an even more hardened jihadi than he is now.

Düsseldorf – “I’m ready and waiting like on hot coals,” wrote Mohammad A. (21). Recipient of the message: a member of the terrorist organization IS. A. wanted to blow himself up as a suicide bomber in Germany for the Islamists. The Syrian is now on trial in Düsseldorf.
Mohammad A. was arrested in April 2024 and has been in custody since then. He came to Germany in 2021, most recently lived in municipal accommodation in Dinslaken (North Rhine-Westphalia) and worked as a car mechanic.
The public prosecutor’s office alleges that the Syrian is said to have communicated with members of IS using various internet services. Initially, it was said to have been about a car bomb and finally about an explosive belt.
From May 2023, A. is said to have been sent instructions for explosives, including TNT and C4. On June 1, 2023, according to the indictment, he replied that he wanted to learn how to make explosives for a car bomb, but that he wanted to practice with a can. He was given internet links with instructions on the necessary materials, such as ammonia, according to the indictment.
On June 24, 2023, Mohammad A. is said to have sworn an oath of allegiance to IS via the messenger service Telegram at 6:58 p.m. The contact is said to have written at 7:08 p.m.: “May God accept it from you.” According to the indictment, A. communicated with an IS explosives expert and with an “Ammar.” He is said to have told him that he wanted to get a weapon in order to become a suicide bomber. When asked whether he wanted to carry out an attack in “Europe,” Mohammad A. is said to have briefly confirmed with “sure.”
On October 22, 2023, IS is said to have informed the defendant that it would “use him as an assassin for the organization at the appropriate time.” But that never happened.
Five days later, “Ammar” contacted them for the last time, saying that Mohammad A. was now planned as a suicide bomber and their contact was no longer necessary.
Although the communication was conspiratorial, the chat partners switched from Telegram to encrypted Threema and identified themselves using number identifiers or symbols, the security authorities managed to read along. In April 2024, the investigators took action and arrested Mohammad A. The public did not find out about this.
If convicted, the car mechanic faces between one and ten years in prison.

A jihadist will after dies and such a murderous way will have a very hard and harsh “reality check” In that “his expectation will perish…” Proverb 11:7. The reason why this is so is because if a jihadist dies just after his Islamic suicide /homicide attack, right after he died ,to his shock and horror, he found himself trapped and suffering in the fires of an awful place the Bible calls “hell.” Luke 16:19-31. DL hat in der UNO allen Resolutionen die sich gegen Israel richten regelmäßig zugestimmt, mit wenigen Ausnahmen.
In DL sprießen Moscheen wie Pilze aus dem Boden, ganze Stadtteile sind fest in muslimischer Hand. Sie genießen alle Freiheiten in diesem Land, ohne Gefahr oder Belästigung.
Die jüdischen Einrichtungen dagegen stehen unter ständigem Polizeischutz. Kein Jude wagt es noch, in der Öffentlichkeit Symbole wie den Davidstern oder eine Kippa zu tragen. Jüdische Friedhöfe und Synagogen werden regelmäßig und zunehmend geschändet oder beschmiert.
