Although the Lebanese Forces Party holds only 19 of the 128 seats in Lebanon’s parliament, it’s still the largest party in the country. It is a Christian party, and its leader, Samir Geagea, has been the target of assassination attempts from Hizballah.
The leftist globalists of the West are clueless about the jihad. They still don’t grasp the fact that the goal of Iran (and all jihadists) is global expansion. Israel isn’t their only target; America, now drastically weakened thanks to the globalist left, is in their sights as well, and despite strains, the leftist/Islamic alliance has held so far.
The jihad advanced worldwide after October 7, as antisemitism also soared. Iran is one of the big leaders and a chief financier of the Palestinian jihad. Ibrahim El-Sakr, a Lebanese Forces Party official, makes a case for the US to take out Iran’s leaders:

I think what should happen is that Israel should totally stamp Hizbullah out of South Lebanon, and that Geagea’s Lebanese Forces should drive Hizbullah out of the Beka’a valley, w/ Israeli support where possible. Renew the alliance w/ Israel that existed in the 80s w/ Geagea’s predecessor Bashir Gemayel, and come to power that way. Join the Abraham Accords after that: this time, sunnis would have a model to look at from the Emirates. Back in the 80s, Syria was a major regional power that called the shots and had a real veto power in Lebanese politics. Today, after the Syrian civil war, and the regime being barely rescued by the Russians, they’re in no such position to call shots in Lebanon, particularly in reference to Hizbullah
I don’t think any US administration will be interested in regime change from now on. Since we know that there is no way the US would look at just getting rid of an Iranian regime and letting chaos reign, and the last 20 years have shown, w/ countries on both sides of Iran, that a real democracy can’t be installed from outside. What can happen is that the US can take out Kharg island, and let Iran go bankrupt again, so that the Iranian people can rise one more time and overthrow the regime, since Hizbullah fighters are no longer around to help prop it up
