Chicago Newscasters Amplify Hamas-Linked CAIR’s Call for State Senator Sara Feigenholtz to Resign

Chicago network affiliates WBBM, WLS, WGN9, and WFLD are covering the press conference of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), at which they called for Illinois State Senator Sara Feigenholtz to resign. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other leaders have joined a high school teacher in urging Illinois State Sen. Sara Feigenholtz to resign following allegations of racist remarks.

Fuzia Jarad, a high school English teacher from Oak Lawn, described a personal encounter in which she said Feigenholtz made offensive comments.

“Senator Feigenholtz is a danger to the people of Illinois. She made incredibly racist statements to my face,” Jarad said.

Jarad joined leaders affiliated with CAIR on Wednesday, calling on Feigenholtz to step down, referencing an alleged pattern of anti-Muslim rhetoric.

The 6th District Democrat has been under fire all month after replying to a post on “X” that referred to those who praise Islam as “bootlickers,” suggesting, “they move to an Islamic country and stick their heads in the dirt multiple times a day for enlightenment.”

“One part of the conversation that remains with me was when she said, ‘before we know it, Muslims and people from over there will be here on the streets shooting people.’ She followed up by saying, ‘we already have Saturdays and Sundays off. What’s next, Fridays too?’ I was stunned by these comments,” Jarad said.

Feigenholtz has denied the accusations….

When I called the station to ask them if they wanted Feigenholtz to resign, they told me no, the people at the press conference did. But, why, I asked, were they revisiting this story that was originally covered in October of this year? They told me that new people were coming forward to complain about Feigenholtz.

Yet except for Fuzia Jarad, no other new groups or people are shown. In a WFLD broadcast entitled “‘A danger to the people of Illinois’; Calls mount for lawmaker to step down”, Ms. Jarad tells us about a conversation she supposedly had with Feigenholtz.

What’s next, Fridays too?’ I was stunned by these comments,” Jarad said.

There are too many examples of Muslims committing or trying to commit mass causality events in this country to list them all, but they include 9/11, the Boston Marathon bombing, the ISIS attack at the Garland Draw Muhammad contest, and on and on.

Discussing the possibility that groups such as CAIR will try to legislate Fridays as a national holiday seems quite reasonable, considering what has already happened around the country.

The stations’ bias against Feigenholtz is quantifiable.

The WFLD broadcast gave almost 23 seconds to Feignholtz, but more than a minute and a half to CAIR’s accusations against her.

The WLS broadcast gave almost 29 seconds to CAIR’s accusations against Feignholtz, but only 11 seconds of a response from the state senator.

There was no discussion of CAIR’s national executive director, Nihad Awad, saying that October 7 made him “happy.” If Feigenholtz deserves criticism and calls for her to resign for what she said, then Nihad Awad should also be criticized.

All of what Jarad is claiming about Feigenholtz  is unverifiable, and for the station to broadcast this with a title about “A danger to the people of Illinois” is outrageous.

The danger is the TV station and CAIR.
