How are things going in Berkeley?
After Oct 7, UC Berkeley launched a ‘Palestinian Studies Program” funded by a $3 million gift from an “anonymous donor”.
But that’s not even where a course praising Hamas comes from. Instead it comes from the English department.
The course description, since removed, is titled English Composition in Connection With the Reading of World Literature.” But the literature in question isn’t Gilgamesh. The subheader is “Leninism and Anarchism: A Theoretical Approach to Literature and Film”.
And it gets worse from there.
The course description falsely accuses Israel of genocide, hails Leninist movements, and hails the “Hamas revolutionary resistance forces combating settler-colonialism”, along with Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and China.
UC Berkeley has since removed the course description.
That this insane Communist propaganda passed as course material in the first place though says a lot about the state of academia.

A large and terrible number of American universities, including Berkeley and colleges across the United States are very anti -Jewish and likewise anti-Israel. Therefore those institutions of “higher education” are ,in essence, very un-American.
This is a very clear reminder that the former President, William Howard Taft, in a speech ,rightly and wisely, declared, “Anti-Semitism is a noxious weed that should be cut out. It has no place in America.”

What is happening today reminds of a description of society from several thousand years ago.

Many people today seem proud of their evil ideas and how they can act on them. And so many are effusive in their praise of the evil carried out by others.

One thing I’ve noticed about these schools is that the Language/Literature departments, being otherwise devoid of meaningful content, are the favorite vectors of these schools for propagandizing communism and islam
As education gravitates more towards the states, I hope that state governments crack down on this abuse of Arts Education and force them to impart American values, rather than communist or islamic ones

Those dimwits should ask non muslims in countries where muslims are significant in number, not necessary majority but big enough to create problem like in India or Nigeria.
I believe, almost all non muslims in those countries have negative view on Islam and muslims, because of what they muslims have been doing, starting from simple and seems harmless like mosque loudspeaker volume to deadly attacks on non muslims. They may not say openly, but behind closed door, they will say their negative view.
That is billions of people who have negative view on Islam and muslims. The view of billions of people from different areas, cultures and background can not be wrong, logically.

My ex wife states on her Facebook Page that Biden-Harris should have a second term though she wants Elizabeth Warren to be the first female President and she thinks Obama was her savior and the Trump is pure evil, even though he didn’t start any Wars and in fact ended the longest running War in American history.
My ex wife lives in Berkeley and she is second generation Russian Jewish.
