University of Wyoming women’s volleyball team forfeits game instead of facing transgender opponent

Women’s rights groups, which generally spring from the left, have failed miserably in protecting women’s rights from aggressive trans activism. Trans activism is once again pitted against women’s rights in this story.

For the third time this season, the San Jose State women’s volleyball team saw its opponent forfeit rather than take the floor.

The team from the University of Wyoming announced that it would forfeit its match instead of facing the Spartans, who field a transgender player on their squad.

“After a lengthy discussion, the University of Wyoming will not play its scheduled conference match against San Jose State University,” the volleyball program said in a statement on Tuesday. “Per Mountain West Conference policy, the conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Wyoming.”

Wyoming joined Boise State and Southern Utah to forfeit instead of facing SJSU, but none of the three schools gave a specific reason for the forfeit.

Blaire Fleming, a transgender female, competes on San Jose State’s team. She is a redshirt junior who plays as an outside and right-side hitter. Fleming has played two seasons at SJSU after previously playing at Coastal Carolina….


The clash between women’s rights and the demands of transgenders was exhibited in San Francisco last year, when trans rights activists actually protested against a women’s liberation group convention.

An insightful report, Impacts of Transgender Activism on the Human Rights of Women, covers, among other issues: “the impact on the safety of women, the loss of women’s safe spaces, the impact on women’s participation in sport and culture, the impact on women’s prisons, the skewing of crime statistics; and also the erasure of lesbian community, and the dangers of hormone interventions on children.”

The root problem started with the insane view that women can do anything men can do, and vice versa. The natural, God-given and complimentary differences between men and women were never appreciated in the woke religion. The trans agenda has now brought us regretful (and embarrassing) outcomes including tampons in male bathrooms, a Planned Parenthood doctor telling Congress that men can get pregnant, and women being forced to compete against biological men in sports. Extreme trans activism has also muddied the definition of the psychotic classifications in psychiatry; psychosis is defined in general terms as a break from reality.

Kudos to the University of Wyoming women’s volleyball team and shame on San Jose State and other women’s sports teams across the board who sacrifice women at the alter of wokeism.

  2. In simple terms, they refuse to play with a male….who can easily hurt them.
    It has happened to other girls who were made to play with a whiny, lying, male opponent, who then used his male strength against the weaker players.

    • You have my sympathy, GE. I don’t know anyone in my family tree who believes that big lie foisted on…mostly the young…people. Tearing the family apart is why it’s being done; why the claims are made.
      It once was that a male who dressed like a woman was considered mentally ill. Many of them would hang around bars hoping to be picked up by other males.
      Now, they join women’s sports, hoping to beat up on the young women, get praise, awards and even money.

  9. Good for them! The more women’s sports teams nationwide do this, the harder it will be for Trannie activists to keep pushing their 💩 on the rest of us

    I do hope that most women follow the example of Riley Gaines, who while endorsing Trump, said, “Kamala wants us to vote for her b’cos she’s a woman. But I plan to vote for Trump b’cos I am a woman!”

    Just wipe out Kamala’s gender gap advantage w/ women!

  10. Women of the past rightfully marched for Women’s rights. The left today march for Women’s rights for men pretending to be Women. Real Women of today have a fight on their hands. My advice to them is get going girls.

  11. Real Women are great. There is almost nothing that I can do with a Man that I cannot do with a Woman. On the other had there are a number of things I can do with a Woman that I would never do with a Man.

  14. Trannies need to go to jail and play Aretha Franklin’s “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman.” There are plenty of guys there waiting to give them accommodation. In order to be a man or woman you have to start at the molecular level then progressively work your way back up to adulthood. Pretty tall order. Of course then you’ll need Somebody to breathe your new soul gender and all into that new body. Even taller order. Easier route might be REINCARNATION. That’s about it for options.

I posted often years ago when this men playing in female sports nonsense started and I suggested that when the girls are all standing on the starting line and the starting gun goes off to just stand still and let the guy swim, run, jump, on his own and then wait five minutes and fire the starting gun again and let the girls compete.
    This may embarrass the guy, though I doubt it, but he can swim, run, jump on his own time and be pleased with himself.
    Reading lately that female teams and refusing to engage is the way to deal with this insanity.
    Notice it is always males wishing to compete in female sports but not females wishing to compete in male sports.

  16. I have heard women say that they are just as good as men. So i don’t get it why they don’t want to play against transgender opponents. Aren’t women strong and independent boss babes ??? In fact the whole male and female category in sports should be abolished and there should be only one category open for all. That’s true gender equality and many women wanted to have gender equality. So give it to them and they shouldn’t whine about the consequenced. I also don’t believe that prisoners should be seperated based on gender. Male and female prisoners should be locked up together. Also there should be no seperate male and female showers in gyms. Let them all shower together. Long live gender equality.
