CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas. CAIR top dog Nihad Awad said the October 7 jihad massacre of 1,200 Israelis made him “happy.”

A federal agency responsible for preventing another 9/11 attack just handed a prestigious service award to a terror-linked Islamist group that uses lawfare to exploit airport screening procedures.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has faced years of lawsuits and negative publicity aimed at undermining its work, much of which comes from a single source: the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Despite this, TSA just bestowed CAIR, perhaps its most strident critic, with its annual “Disability and Multicultural Coalitions Award.”
Recognized on September 24 “for providing valuable input to TSA on experiences of Muslim travelers with airport screening,” CAIR currently represents multiple clients that are suing the federal agency. In addition, the awardee repeatedly lists TSA as a top offender in its annual hate crimes reports.
TSA’s award comes months after the Biden administration pledged to stop working with CAIR, a decision prompted by statements from the group’s founder endorsing Hamas’ actions on October 7. However, other federal agencies severed ties years earlier, after CAIR was linked to a Hamas fundraising ring in a 2007 terror finance trial.
Anti-Muslim Agency
Created in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks, TSA is a federal law enforcement and regulatory oversight agency responsible for protecting America’s mass transit system, including the country’s highways, railroads, bus routes, and airports. As a subagency of the Department of Homeland Security, TSA works closely with the FBI and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to maintain security over U.S. airspace and air terminals.
Year after year, CAIR claims that these three agencies account for more hate crimes and anti-Muslim bias incidents than any single entity. They contribute more than white nationalists and neo-Nazis, and far more than supposed “Islamophobic” hate groups. America’s airports are ground zero for anti-Muslim hate, according to CAIR, recording hundreds of incidents every year.
Following the rollout of President Donald Trump’s travel ban in 2017, which initially barred international travel from seven countries known for sheltering terrorists, CAIR debuted a hate crimes reporting app that allowed Muslim travelers to register discrimination complaints with the click of a button. Fresh from experiencing long delays at customs, these visitors were apparently eager to file incidents with CAIR, resulting in nearly 1,000 government bias cases involving TSA, CBP, and the FBI in 2017.
By enforcing a government policy that was ultimately upheld by the Supreme Court, DHS agencies committed nearly 35 percent of all of CAIR’s anti-Muslim violations that year. These offenses were lumped in with hundreds of non-violent incidents and a small number of allegedly violent cases.
In recognizing CAIR, a TSA press release mentioned the importance behind “ensuring the Muslim voice is represented, especially considering the rise in Islamophobia nationwide and globally,” an upsurge that CAIR blames in large part on TSA agents. Yet, the award-winning nonprofit doesn’t just besmirch TSA with questionable bias statistics; CAIR is actively suing the federal agency in U.S. courtrooms….

We the People have to take off our shoes, empty our purses, only have sample sizes of toothpaste, shampoo and other personal care items because of mozlums. Besides arriving many hours early and going through x-ray machines before we are allowed to take flight. And our id has to be an approved id.
Illegals get to bypass this process.
We the People have seen mozlums working at various airports, checking luggage and scanning/searching passengers. While disabled individuals, little kids and elderly people are given extra scrutiny.

These actions and behaviors are what give Americans such a poor opinion of their federal government. Any interested observer would see over time that the views of CAIR are aligned with anti-American organizations and have the long-term objective of ‘transforming’ our nation into another Islamic state.

Won’t work but thats how our government officials work, you pay off everyone. Look at foreign aid we give billions away in aid, trying to buy friends, but those kind of friends will stab you in the back.

One simple question. Why is any government agency handing out any awards when the government overall has to borrow money for them to do so. Maybe I am a little slow here but shouldn’t a government in debt be cutting back on ALL none essential spending until the books balance. Anything else is endangering the wellbeing and security of the nation.

So far I have found that this award was presented to CAIR by TSA’s Civil Rights & Liberties, Ombudsman and Traveler Engagement office (CRLOTE) which I believe is headed by Christine Griggs who is the Assistant Administrator for Civil Rights & Liberties, Ombudsman and Traveler Engagement.
Here is a write up about Griggs receiving a “2024 TSA Trailblazer award”.
She comes across here as some who isn’t really sure of herself and is going through the motions in a pretend DEI job in a pretend DEI agency.

I just got off the phone with Ibrahim Hooper who didn’t know anything about this “award”.
I am getting the impression this award ceremony is more for the benefit of the Civil Rights & Liberties, Ombudsman and Traveler Engagement (CRL/OTE) team so they can look busy.
Typical government bureaucracy – define a problem, setup a committee/agency, hire people as “directors”, and go through the motions.
“I’m not a CRL/OTE subject matter expert,” Griggs said. “I just remember her saying to me, ‘I don’t need you to be a subject matter expert. I need you to lead people. I need you to lead the organization and make things go.’ And I thought, ‘That’s me. I like to make things go.’

Last year, I flew b/w Delhi and Dulles. In Dulles, we still have the post 9/11 protocols, such as removing our shoes. However, in Indian airports, that was not there: one just has to load the tray w/ all the carry-on items. A few days ago, I flew to Bangkok and back, and there too, taking off shoes wasn’t a part of the routine
In the months following 9/11/2001, as an Israeli Airport official said, the US doesn’t have a security system: they just have a system for harassing people. Otherwise, a brief conversation w/ passengers while they are going through security is all it would take to filter out any bad actors
I think it’s time to disband the DHS. It was ostensibly formed b’cos different branches of government weren’t talking to each other, but that’s not solved if every government department is so woke that it’ll let in jihadists to avoid charges of islamophobia. Instead, study a few successful countries to see what they are doing right, and emulate them

I simply refuse to fly these days for the following reason: forced covid shots on all employees, DEI tower personal..seriously how can you trust a person who does not fit the training aptitude to do the job without killing a plane full of people, pilots who pass out mid flight.
Then you have the TSA inspectors and frankly all the years I have flown on planes the Muslim women who work in TSA creep me out. Didn’t 9/11 warn us to be diligent yet our government brings in millions of people who hate our nation.

I worked for airport security for some time during the 1990’s and wasn’t very surprised that those 19 jihadists of al Qaeda got through the “security screening stations” on September 11. 2001.
As one security supervisor said the me that “Those stations are just set up for show to make the passengers feel safe”
Another security supervisor said to me” This is “B… S… .That same supervisor even became angry I called for a ”bag check” because he didn’t want to be bothered to get off his seat to make a bag check. On a number of times he said to me “Does that look like a test item ?” To his statement, I replied, “That bag looked rather suspicious as if something might have been hidden in it. To my reply he engaged in his head and eye rolling routine as if saying “Don’t give me that balderdash, nothing could possibly happen.”
Latter when the top security boss came to that airport I told her that “The rule that allows any kind of knife of blade in to the airport as longer it’s no more than three inches long” is nonsense because even very small cutting object can do much harm.”
That security chief just sat there and gave a angry and discussed look that implied “Don’t you dare even bring up that subject to me.”
