The thought of Afghan traders shaking a leg at music concerts held in the Uzbek border town of Termez appears to be causing nightmares for the ruling Taliban in Kabul.
Officials of Afghanistan’s Islamic fundamentalist Taliban administration have warned Uzbekistan that the music needs to stop in the city’s new Airitom Free Economic Zone (FEZ), or Afghans will be banned from travelling to the special territory.
As things stand, Afghan citizens gain 15-day visa-free access to Airitom, a 36-hectare tax-free zone located not far from “Freedom Bridge”, which spans the waters of the Amu-Darya river that forms the border between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
If the Taliban’s concerns over the musical performances breaching their “morality laws” cannot be resolved, the future of the Airitom FEZ could be imperilled.
Built at a cost of $70mn by private holding Afka, owned by Jahongir Artikkhodjayev, a business tycoon and former mayor of Tashkent, it boasts four large blocks where retailers can trade, a hospital and even a Hilton hotel.
In late August, the Taliban introduced codified morality laws for their Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Regulations include a prohibition on playing music in vehicles, restrictions on transporting women travelling without male guardians and a ban on media outlets publishing images of living beings….

Fancy banning the beauty of the human voice, plus of course the music created by orchestras etc. What a contrast with that religion and Judaism when Jews are so well represented in the music world, in all ways. How long before the taliban demand that America not have any music anywhere because all those thousands of afghans were brought into the country by biden and crew?
Good music is one of the things that make life pleasurable. The ghouls of islam want all of the pleasure to be theirs when they engage in rape and murder. No one else is supposed to enjoy life by any means.

Since Uzbekistan impressively still seems to have a sane regime, they should call their bluff and tell the Taliban to feel free to stop Afghans from traveling to Termez. They won’t be losing much, since culturally, there are still strong remnants of Soviet culture in that country despite separating from Russia some 30 years ago. They are better off dealing w/ their comrades in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, all of which are still more Soviet (communism-lite) than islamic

True what export could Afghanistan make in its backward society to send anywhere outside of high grade hashish ,heroin , and very violent terrorism .Why anyone would want Afghanistan “traders” to visit their lands , there is not one ‘net” positive .Let them sit in their fourth world uninteresting ,uncultured ,grey dirtball country. This is the picture perfect world if Sharia law is fully followed ,just look to Afghanistan as an example ,darker then any dark age Europe ,or even pre-European contacted in the Americas civilization. Even pre- modern humanoids had cave paints ,and most likely did some kind of singing or made some kind of drumming sounds . Sharia is truly a crime against basic human nature. Knowing that one day we would leave Kabul and Afghanistan to these guttersnipes, why did we not plant deep under their national capitol building complex a huge stockpile of conventional ammunition that could be detonated remotely via satellite from the White House if the Taliban got cocky?

No we left high grade weapons ,rockets ,missile, helicopters ,billions of rounds of ammo ,thousands of machine guns and small arms .Tank, armor cars ,,spare parts ,new airports ,roads ,we gave billions to the leader who “worked with us” who high tailed it out of their with a fleet of SUV carrying his money in US dollar form with gold over the borders to the north never to be seen or heard of again ,or mention in Americans MSM. We help give the Taliban a good weapon upgrade from the over 40 year Russia stuff they where using .The Taliban has ever reason to be “cocky” we also left many people who work with us to face death.
