The spirit of Joseph Goebbels is alive and well today and active in the German media. Goebbels was Hitler’s infamous Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. He “masterminded the Nazi propaganda machine and executed its murderous agenda. And no one believed his message more than Goebbels himself.”
In the same manner, the far left doles out convincing and hateful propaganda with an undercurrent of incitement and heavy projection, often accusing those on the right of “hate.” One of the largest publications in Europe, Der Spiegel, located in Hamburg, Germany has branded Elon Musk as “enemy of the state number two” after Trump.
Yet it isn’t Musk who is a villainous public enemy, ushering in the “decomposition of liberal democracy,” as charged by Der Spiegel; it is the fascist left of the West with its aggressive woke agenda. It is the left that aims to stifle the freedom of expression and create borderless societies that have extensive national security vulnerabilities. Any criticism of this agenda brings on a vicious backlash. Despite the assassination attempts on Trump, Der Spiegel is intentionally using language to stir up fear of Trump and Musk, which further divides society.
The modern Goebbels approach works to dehumanize their detractors and paint them as a public threat, thus putting a target on their backs.

Leading left-wing globalist German news magazine Der Spiegel has branded Elon Musk “Enemy of the State Number Two” after Donald Trump, alleging that the entrepreneur’s next project will be to usher in the “decomposition of liberal democracy”.
Elon Musk is a “techno-fascist”, a real-world James Bond villain potentially comparable on a historical scale to top Nazis such as chief propagandist Alfred Hugenberg or even Adolf Hitler, warned an alarmist profile of the Tesla boss in Der Spiegel over the weekend.
The lengthy article asserted that Musk is now a “declared opponent of the liberal democratic USA” for his support for Donald Trump, his opposition to the open borders agenda of the Biden-Harris administration, and his desire to roll back the regulatory state—priorities shared by roughly half the country’s population.
Nevertheless, the German magazine declared: “The troll-in-chief has mutated into a political agitator. You could say that Donald Trump is probably the greatest threat to the free world at the moment. His buddy Musk, [is at least] a state enemy number two.”
“Hugenberg, Hitler? Does that overestimate Musk’s historical role?” the news magazine questioned in a thinly veiled accusation….

I don’t think Musk really cares what a heretofore unheard of (in the US) German magazine thinks of him. For all you know, that article could have been financed by BMW, Mercedes or Volkswagen.

ok, just dont read the paper or watch the news. I saw the Speigel magazine cover with trump

Der Spiegel should honestly look at how Angela Merkel’s open border policies have caused a heavy increase in crime and terrorist attacks, and also dragged down the German economy overall.
And, this is not to blame every individual Muslim or migrant (or Muslim migrant) in Germany. However, one needs to look at the broader picture, instead of slinging Leftist memes and platitudes.

In that case, had German reunification never happened, West Germany today would have looked like France, while East Germany would have been similar to Hungary or the Czech Republic Whereas the combined Germany as a whole has not only ruined it for West Germany, but East Germany as well

These men are not even German, and they have never threatened the German state. When Trump was president Germany was an ally of the US–as it has been since, and was before that for decades.
And how is Musk–an inventer and businessman–an enemy of Germany? He has been involved in the invention or improvement of electric cars. space travel, solar power, and phone calls and payment through the web. He is now owner of social media Twitter (renamed X). Oh, and some video games. Some people have concerns about AI, which he has also been involved with, but considering him an “enemy of the (German) state” as a result seems rather a stretch.
Most people would consider these inventions useful–or, at worst, neutral.
How does any of this entail “decomposition of liberal democracy”–something that Musk would not have the power to do–even were he so inclined, and he does not seem to be.
There was a time when Der Spiegel was an important publication; that time appears to be long past…
