And it certainly isn’t Harris herself. After all, as we all know, the Candidate of Joy is an outsider’s outsider, except when she flies down to the border and affects a sneer of cold command for a ten-minute photo op.

It might have worked had Israel had a government that was ideologically aligned w/ that of the Dems. Except that after decades, the Labour Party is so discredited that it’s no longer a combatant in Israel’s electoral politics. (Hopefully, the same thing will happen to the Dems before too long). As a result, there are no Yitzhak Rabins or Ehud Baraks or even Ariel Sharons left any more
One thing you’re right about, though – all these jihadists & their sympathizers think that Israel is just a puppet of the US, or vice versa. They then find out the hard way that both countries operate independently. Iran thought that the messy US withdrawal from Afghanistan signaled that Israel would buy into this policy of appeasement, Had they not pulled off October 7th by Hamas & October 8th by Hizbullah, that may even have worked. But by doing what they did, they just made it politically unviable for Israel to do anything other than retaliate

Why is this person still President? Why is the 25 amendment not being used? I guess Team Harris and dancing prancing Waltz wants to put distance between her being in her words ” the last person in the room” when this nursing home patient was making important decisions for the last 3.8 years. Will care taker “Doctor” Jill Biden sit down with leaders in the Middle East and try to set things right? Will she ask them like 4 graders to take a “time out”? There is one good reason not to invoke the 25th Amendment: I’d rather not see Kamala Harris be the first female POTUS. The person who has that honor should be someone superlative, and that person, whoever else it be, definitely isn’t her!
Let the bureaucracy run things for the balance of this term, and then once Trump is sworn in, he can purge it properly and institute proper replacements
