Horrific news has come from Borno State, in north east Nigeria. Four abducted people have been beheaded by extremists believed to be from Boko Haram – who also released a graphic video of the murders.
In the video, an armed terrorist, dressed in fatigues and speaking Hausa, told onlookers how one of the people he would behead was his younger sister.
“She’s part of the infidels we will annihilate today,” he said. He went on to say that he would do the same if it were his mother or his own child – anyone ‘who goes against our religion’.
Before killing the people in the video, he said: “Wherever there is an infidel, we will go and find them out by ourselves and execute them.”
It is believed that at least one of those killed is a Christian, though the faiths of the other three have not been confirmed. It is known that Christians are particularly vulnerable to extremist attacks in the region, as followers of Jesus are prioritised as targets under the extremists’ definition of ‘infidel’.
“Boko Haram extremists have clearly said time and time again that they are waging a jihad against people they call ‘infidels’ – that is anyone who does not sign up to their extreme interpretation of Islam,” says John Samuel*, Open Doors’ legal expert for sub-Saharan Africa. “Some of the people at the top of this list, then, are Christians who are clear targets because of their faith.”…

If this girl was Christian, she has a ‘large reward’ for sticking to her faith. If not, she still has a resurrection in the future as Jesus promised, as do the others who were murdered..

This is happening all over Africa where mozlums have the backing of the government and even in places where freedom to worship is supposed to be guaranteed, but mozlums have a large population and the governments do nothing.
It’s happening in places like pakistan where the government does not help when Christians are accused of blasphemy, mobs assemble and murder the Christians, even in jail.
Jesus promised that He would return “before the circuit of the cities is complete.” His return must be coming soon as Christians are running out of places to “flee.” Or they are unable to flee.

“A local South Carolina man was told he needed a permit to hold a sign about his faith on a public sidewalk in his town.
After Chapin, South Carolina local Ernest Giardino was forced to obtain a permit to hold a sign and discuss his faith in town, First Liberty Institute (FLI), which defends Americans’ religious freedom, sent a letter on his behalf, arguing he has the constitutional right to do so. FLI described the town’s attempt to regulate speech and suppress religious expression on a public sidewalk as not only unconstitutional, but evidence of “arbitrary overreach.”
“Giardino was on a public sidewalk in Chapin holding a 20×24 inch sign that read “Trust Christ He paid the price” on one side and “He Saved Others—Jesus—He’ll Save You” on the other side.
June 20, 2024, a police officer approached him and informed him that he needed Chapin’s permission to display his sign and his message.
Giardino spoke with the Code Enforcement Officer and the Chief of Police about this surprising development after he was told he needed a permit. They both confirmed he needed to obtain a permit, which limits him to holding his sign for only 30 minutes. Under the permit, he would also need to change sidewalk corners every 15 minutes while holding his sign.”

Sounds like time to find out who proposed this requirement and who voted for it. They should all be facing civil rights charges as well as a personally targeted class action. The city should not be sued the individuals should. Unfortunately the officer was probably acting as instruced after some karen or abdul bitched about it.

At least the guy has some good attorneys fighting for him. This is really so simple though, any one should be able to argue the case for Freedom of Speech and Religion.
I’m wondering if it’s atheists or mozlums in the city government. Or both.

How is this legal? It doesn’t sound as though he was harrassing anyone–just peacefully holding a sign.
By the way, over 80% of South Carolinians identify as Christian.

It isn’t legal, g. It’s unconstitutional and the attorneys are demanding that the be left alone. Other small cities in the past have tried it.
A part of Tampa, FL called Temple Terrace tried it many years ago. Street preachers were required to buy a permit.
And some time back, my son had a briefcase with some religious tracts in it. He was walking down a street in a small city in FL and the sheriff called him over, demanded that he open the case, and had a look inside. It was pure intimidation.
Since he became an attorney, he knows his rights to refuse a search of that kind.
The police are abusing their power. Unconstitutional, in every case like this.
In the SC case, the attorney of record has written a letter to the city, and given them until early November to respond.

Killing ones sister, because she chose a different religion. Of course she knew better and the consequences of her choice. The one to blame for her death…Islam, as it states to kill any Muslim who leaves the religion for another no matter who they are family or not.
Just tragic as are the millions of deaths that Islam claims is justified because people chose not to convert and submit to a theocracy that deals in death, obscene rules and the way women are treated, why would any woman convert.

I don’t know if the victim was an apostate from Islam, or if the murderer is a convert to Islam. Scarcely matters in how Muslims think, though.
