The Israeli armed forces are not only fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza and the Hezbollah terror militia in Lebanon; they are also combatting the jihadist threat that is rearing its ugly head in the country’s Judea and Samaria region.
The Israeli military, assisted by the Shin Bet security agency, on Thursday eliminated a senior commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group in the Judea and Samaria.
A Israeli “aircraft struck in the area of Tulkarm and eliminated Muhammad Abdullah, head of the Islamic Jihad’s terror network in Nur Shams,” the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed in a statement Friday.
The slain jihadist had directed several terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians. “Abdullah was the successor of Muhammad Jabber (Abu Shujaa), head of the terrorist network in Tulkarm who was eliminated by the IDF and ISA on August 29 by the Israeli Police,” the IDF statement added. “In recent months, Abdullah was responsible for organizing terrorist activities in the area and was involved in numerous terror attacks.”
Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), an Iran-funded terrorist group, took part in the October 7 massacre and has since murdered Israeli hostages in its captivity. The jihadist group is fighting alongside Hamas terrorists in Gaza. In recent years, the group has deepened its terrorist footprint in the Palestinian Authority-controlled territories of Judea and Samaria.
“IDF, Shin Bet eliminates head of PIJ network in Nur Shams, responsible for terror attacks,” Jerusalem Post, October 11, 2024:
In a joint operation, the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) eliminated the head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) network in Nur Shams in the West Bank, along with an additional terrorist, the military announced early on Friday.
During a joint operation between the IDF and Shin Bet on Thursday, an Israel Air Force (IAF) aircraft struck and eliminated Muhammad Abdullah, head of the PIJ’s terror network in Nur Shams.
An additional terrorist was eliminated alongside Abdullah.
In recent months, Abdullah was responsible for organizing terrorist activities in the area and was involved in numerous terror attacks, the IDF stated. He was also active in deploying explosives against IDF soldiers operating in the area of Tulkarm.
The terrorists were found with M-16 rifles, vests, and vehicles, all of which were confiscated by the IDF soldiers operating in the area.

Excellent to hear!

Good idea. While they are at it and being condemned by the UN anyway, Israel should take on all its terrorist enemies, not just those who have been attacking it since October 7th. In other words, not just Hamas and Hizbullah, but also Islamic Jihad, Lion’s Den and al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades. I mean, if one is doing a pest control to get rid of roaches, and one finds a source of maggots somewhere, would one just leave that alone b’cos the maggots ain’t doing what the roaches are? Just take them all out!
I’m also waiting to see what they do about Iran. The sooner they can respond to the attacks a couple of weeks ago, the better, since any delays will make it look increasingly like a unilateral attack on Iran, as opposed to a retaliation for what they tried out then

Infidel: good analogy! It’s like Israel is having to deal with roaches, maggots, termites, rodents, wasps, flies and other vermin all at the same time.

That’s the Islamic plan to thin and spread out Israels defense system to make it harder for Israel to defend it self and win. The Jihadist are counting of the countries supporting Israel with weapons and supplies to withdraw their help.
