Laleh Saati is in grave danger. Shi’ite Islam, like Sunni Islam, prescribes the death penalty for apostasy:
Shaykh al-Kulayni narrates a sahíh (correct) hadith from `Ammãr as-Sãbãti who said: I heard (Imam) Abu `Abdullãh (as-Sãdiq) (a.s.) saying, “A Muslim from among the Muslims who renounces Islam and rejects the prophethood of Muhammad and considers him untrue, then verily his blood is lawful (mubãh) for anyone who hears that from him, his wife is to be separated from him the day he became murtad [apostate], his wealth will be divided among his heirs, and his wife will observe the `idda of a widow (i.e., four months). The Imam is obliged to kill him, and not ask him to seek forgiveness.” (Furu al-Kãfi, vol. 7, p. 257)
The Islamic Republic of Iran might not carry out this sentence in the absence of the Imam, but they’re not likely to be lenient and kind to Laleh Saati, either.
“Christian convert denied parole after ‘refusing forced confession,’” Article 18, September 27, 2024:
A Christian convert serving a two-year sentence in Evin Prison on charges related to her Christian activities has been denied parole because she refused to record a forced confession and public disavowal of reports about her case, according to Persian-language news site Human Rights in Iran.
Laleh Saati, who is a former asylum-seeker, is eligible for parole, having served one-third of her sentence, which also includes a two-year travel ban following her release.
According to the report, Laleh has also been refused the opportunity to be released with an electronic tag – all at the insistence of officers of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS).
Laleh has been detained since her arrest in February, and was initially held in Ward 209 of the prison, which is under the jurisdiction of the MOIS.
During her interrogations there, photographs and videos of her Christian activities and baptism in Malaysia, where she had claimed asylum, were brought before her as evidence of her “crime”.
When she was sentenced a month later, the Tehran Revolutionary Court judge reportedly asked her why she had risked returning to Iran from Malaysia “given that you have done such things [Christian activities] outside of Iran”.
Laleh has reportedly struggled with her mental health as a result of the stress of her imprisonment, and both she and her elderly mother have been threatened with new court proceedings against them as a result of the publicity her case has received….

The poor girl…rich in faith…I pray she can keep her trust and faith in Christ and our Heavenly Father. She will be rewarded with ‘the real life.”
Perhaps soon, there will be a change in the rulership of iran and this young woman and others like her will be afforded the freedom they deserve.

Somehistory,
Perhaps she should have converted to Christianity “covertly” – until she could somehow emigrate to a “safe” Western country.

That horrendous Islamic regime of Iran has again, revealed that it’s a demonic tyrannical terror state by its cruel and severe persecution of this young Christian woman , Laleh Saati,
Furthermore , those Muslims clerics, the ayatollahs and mullahs, in power in Iran are very ready and will to do everything they are able to do ,through those thugs in uniform who are Iran’s Islamic state police, who call themselves the “the Revolutionary Guards , to engage in sever brutal and cruel persecution against Christians and burn their Bibles is because those ruling Muslims clerics are afraid that if the Iranian people start to read the Bible and discover that when the Bible and the Quran are compared and contrasted find that the Bible is the superior of those two books.
Therefore , those Ayatollahs and mullahs might then start to loses much of their power because that that Islamic “Republic “ of Iran has the Quran with its Sharia as the entire foundation of their regime.
So they , to uphold their power, will everything they can to keep the Iranian people in ignorance of the Bible and away from the light the Bible and keep them in the darkness of Islam.
In in consequence, in time , the result will be sorrow upon those ayatollahs sand mullahs. For the Bible reveals “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness.” Isaiah 5:20. [N.K.J.V.]
About those Muslim clerics, such false teachers are described in the Bible, in Second Peter 2:1,2 “There were false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction and many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.”
Those same Muslims clerics also tell the Iranian people many awful terrible things that aren’t true about Christians and Christianity , likewise they speak many negative and false things about the Jewish people and the State of Israel. This is a reflection of the prediction of such lying falsehood speakers written about in the Bible , which informs its reader about men who “Speak evil of things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.” Second Peter 2:12.

This jihadwatch article informs its about the vicious persecution of Christians and many of them being sent to Evin prison ,For it reads “A Christian convert serving a two-year sentence in Evin Prison on charges related to her Christian activities…”
That prison really a torture and rape center. This one of the results, fruits, of that “mullah regime” being in power in Iran
Ivin prison and the brutally cruel vile and heinous evil activities that occur in that place is explained by a former Iranian Revolutionary Guard member who defected to the West and how now lives in America his book also informs the reader about the malicious and murderous affront girls in Iran’s Evin prison which reads that those in power ,the “paraded teenage girls in front in front of me as they led them to their deaths. These girls were barely out of their childhood, barely old enough to think of themselves, much less form thoughts against the state. They knew nothing about the machinations of politics. They were innocent in every sense of the word and certainty innocent of trumped –up charges that led to their imprisonment. Yet they suffered fates too brutal for even the most vicious criminal. ..Their few remaining moments of life had been filled with the level of abuse that few can imagine.”
The author further states “They tortured and killed young girls, in God’s name and before their execution they raped them because they believed that if a girl dies virgin, she will go to heaven, and they wanted to deny them this reward.” [1]
This is as malice -filled cruel brutal l oppressive malicious and murderous Islamic regime of Iran, since it took power in Iran it thrives on installing fear on the Iranian people.
This is a blatant reminder of that the Bible reads “All the days of the oppressed are wretched.” Proverbs 15;15. [N.I.V.]

Going to another muslim shithole – and claiming asylum there – where being a christian is almost as deadly as in Iran…
🙁

Maybe that’s the only place she could get to. Poor woman!

I have a very good friend who is from Maylasia. He is Christian and goes home to visit sometimes.
As Mo says, perhaps it was her only choice. And she was not put in prison there. Evidently, she went back to iran because of family.

Why did Muhammad say persons who no longer believe in and leave Allah, must be killed?. Doesn’t fit in with the avowed religion of love and peace, so if it doesn’t come from the very pinnacle of that religion, to where can someone look?
Daniel Osborn says
I pray that God will grant Laleh the strength to stand under this horrible persecution and that His love will fill her heart and radiate from her even out to her captors and persecutors that they may see Jesus in her. Fill her with your love and grace and please deliver her from this trial. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Mo says
Amen!

The real religion of peace is Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism not islam. As these religions have non violence philosophy unlike islam where violence is the core philosophy.

I am wondering, how come it is (almost) always the Iranian women who are jailed for converting to Christianity, at least in the news. Not the men. Where are the men?
I praise those Iranian women who are truely brave.
