India: Hindu university student forced to convert to Islam, wear hijab to avoid being raped

Jamia Millia Islamia is a public research university in New Delhi, India. Its name suggests that it is not a public institution, but there’s a history. In brief:

One of the founders of the university and a former president of India Dr Zakir Hussein once said, “the movement of Jamia Millia Islamia as a struggle for education and cultural renaissance that aims to prepare a blueprint for Indian Muslims which may focus on Islam but simultaneously evolve a national culture for common Indian.”

According to the Jamia Millia Islamia website, the institution “was conceived as a national institution that would offer progressive education and nationalist ideals to students from all communities, particularly the Muslims.” The “nationalist” ideals refer to those of India, and so the Indian government supported the endeavor. Mahatma Gandhi also supported the institution, as it was founded on pluralism and diversity.

Now comes news that a “differently abled” (aka disabled) student filed a complaint with Delhi police, stating that she was “she was forced to convert to Islam, wear a Hijab and renounce her Hindu faith at the central government-funded institute.” The victim has dyslexia.

Given how determined Islam is to conquer by whatever means necessary in India, the Middle East, Africa and now in the West (which is made abundantly clear by the history of 1,400 years of conquest), the case of the dyslexic student at Jamia Millia Islamia isn’t that surprising. Such activity to advance Islam, employing even abusive methods, has reportedly happened before at the institution.

Given the expansionary core of Islam, it isn’t surprising to see Sharia objectives being forced on kafirs at Jamia Milia Islamia, including Islamic law’s permitting of sex slavery for infidels and requiring full female coverings (Quran 24:31, Quran 33:59).

A differently-abled (Divyang) Hindu student, studying at the Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI), has filed a complaint with the Delhi police on 19th October this year.

The victim narrated how she was forced to convert to Islam, wear a Hijab and renounce her Hindu faith at the central government-funded institute.

According to a report by Organiser, the female student is pursuing a journalism course at JMI and has been subjected to harassment since July 2023.

The victim, who suffers from dyslexia, has reportedly been told by Muslim students to wear hijab to avoid being raped and preserve ‘noor’. “Don’t you remember the Kolkata rape case? Those who refuse to wear the hijab face the same fate,” she was told at the varsity.

In her police complaint, the Hindu woman stated that one Ibnay Saud had circulated her phone number in Jamia Nagar. “Since then, perverted calls have become a constant intrusion, stripping away my privacy and leaving me exposed,” she added.

The victim began receiving inappropriate calls. She was constantly mocked for her Hindu beliefs….

  3. I read about muslims suffering on the hand of the Hindus in India on the internet, but so far in Jihadwatch, I only read the other way. Is Jihadwatch only covering one way or is there so much bias on the internet (which is quite true)?
    Hindus in India are hostile toward Christianity, but seems they are much less hostile toward the muslims. Cowardness?

    • This is an absolutely false narrative being written by leftists journalists and the Muslim appeasement party. Muslims are living equally with Hindus..In fact, f you read newspapers and read on internet, daily we read news as to how Muslims are harassing Hindus in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Love jihad, land jihad through Wakf Board, killing of Hindus, stone pelting on Hindus, not allowing Hindus to celebrate our festivals, etc.

    • I would not be surprised if they offered cheap or free tuition to lure poor students before the threats kicked in.
